- the plate body 12 is designed in the form of a so-called perforated mat from the German company Otto Sport International GmbH.
- the panel body 12 has on its top side facing away from the base 25 (top in 2 ) a plurality of projections 14 on.
- These projections 14 are preferably formed in the manner of knobs and are preferably distributed on the upper side of the plate body 12 in the manner of a matrix.
- the projections 14 can have the same or different heights with respect to the base of the plate body 12 .
- projections are arranged at two different heights in a matrix-like manner and mutually offset from one another, so that low projections and high projections alternate in each case. This configuration increases the sure-footedness, for example, for horses on a riding surface.
- cup-like depressions 16 can also be provided on the top of the plate body 12 more cup-like depressions 16, each serving as a water reservoir.
- the plate body 12 is also designed to be water-permeable.

Description
The invention relates to a riding arena floor panel and a method for producing a riding arena floor panel.
There is therefore a need for a measure to reliably and permanently prevent the escape of pollutants from floor panels. This object is solved by the teaching of the independent claims. Preferred refinements and developments of the invention are the subject matter of the dependent claims.
The riding arena floor panel according to the invention has a panel body which essentially consists of a plastic and/or rubber material and whose entire surface is covered by a water-resistant and weather-resistant, fluid-tight top layer, the top layer having at least one Has preservatives and in the top layer additionally contains a quartz flour. By covering the slab body with a water-resistant and weather-resistant, fluid-tight top layer, the escape of pollutants from the floor slab can be reliably prevented over the long term. Floor panels can therefore also be made of plastic and/or rubber material in order to achieve good elastic properties without damaging the environment. As a precaution, it should be pointed out that the riding arena floor panel can also be referred to as a riding arena floor mat.
The cover layer is fluid-tight so that fluids (i.e. liquids and gases) cannot escape from or enter the panel body. The at least one preservative in the top layer brings about the water and weather resistance, so that the fluid-tight property can be permanently achieved. According to the invention, the top layer also contains quartz powder (also referred to as fine quartz sand powder), which further improves durability since the quartz powder stabilizes the abrasion resistance of the top layer and the layer thickness of the top layer. In this way, the protective effect of the top layer against the escape of pollutants from the slab body can be permanently guaranteed even with more heavily loaded floor slabs, so that these floor slabs can also be used for riding arenas and sports ground floors where the floor slabs are constantly in contact with water and/or or the floor panels are heavily and often mechanically stressed by the respective equestrian or sporting events.
Der Anteil des Quarzmehls in der Deckschicht beträgt vorzugsweise etwa 5 bis 10 Gew.-%.The proportion of quartz powder in the top layer is preferably about 5 to 10% by weight.
In one embodiment of the invention, an adhesive can also be contained in the cover layer. The cover layer can be permanently fixed to the panel body more reliably by the adhesive.
The top layer preferably has at least one preservative selected from methylisothiazolinone (MIT) and chloromethylisothiazolinone (CMIT) and benzisothiazolinone (BIT). The cover layer preferably has a mixture of MIT and CMIT, particularly preferably in a mixing ratio of about 1:3. The cover layer preferably has a mixture of MIT and CMIT as well as BIT.
The cover layer preferably also has at least one thickener. The thickener is, for example, a thickener based on (preferably hydrophobically) modified ethylene oxide urethane and/or a polyurethane resin.
In one embodiment of the invention, the panel body of the riding arena floor panel consists at least partially of a recycling material.
In principle, the invention can be used in connection with any structures and dimensions of the panel body. The invention can be used in particular for all mats and perforated mats from OTTO Sport International GmbH. The panel body of the riding arena floor panel may preferably have at least one structural member selected from (i) a plurality of through holes passing through the panel body in a thickness direction of the panel body; (ii) a plurality of projections on an upper side of the plate body facing away from the ground; and (iii) a plurality of cup-like indentations on an upper side of the plate body facing away from the subsurface. The through-openings serve as a water drain to allow excess water on the base plate to drain away quickly, and can optionally also each be provided with an annular projection on the underside facing the ground, in order to anchor the base plate on the ground and increase the elasticity of the increase entire floor panel. The projections on the upper side of the plate body preferably have two or more different heights and promote the horses' sure-footedness. The cup-like indentations or the top of the plate body serve as a water reservoir.
The subject matter of the invention is also a riding arena or sports arena floor which has an arrangement laid on a substructure of several riding arena floor panels of the invention which are arranged next to one another and are described above.
On a
