Known - and always fashionable - are comparatively thick woolen knitted tights, with or without knitting and / or color patterns, which consist entirely of a uniform material, namely a thick wool or wool-like thread, often with an integrated elastic synthetic fiber (e.g. elastane). These tights are just as thick and warm where the warming and thick woolen knitwear is not needed and especially not desired, namely in the so-called problem areas: stomach, buttocks, hips and outer upper thighs. Conventional woolen knitted tights are considerably bulky there. The person appears fuller (fat) than they actually are. In addition, the items of clothing usually worn over tights, such as skirts, shorts and longer jackets, are stretched. These items of clothing, which fit the person well when they are wearing fine women's tights, are too tight by half a dress size or even a whole size when wearing conventional woolen knitted tights.

The aim of the invention is to avoid the problem described and to provide tights which combine warming and fashionable properties with the requirements for a slim appearance of the wearer.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that the panty area is or consists of a thinner or finer yarn than the leg area.

In essence, the invention boils down to a thin pantyhose in the panty area - and thus in the problem areas - usually for fine tights To use a yarn to be found, such as a so-called nylon thread, and only for the remaining areas a comparatively thick yarn, in particular a warm wool or wool-like thread.

As is customary with pantyhose, the yarns are preferably connected to form a knitted fabric in the respective area.

This has the advantage that when the tights are worn, the feet are not constricted, that is, they do not have a poorer blood supply than usual and therefore freeze or larger shoes / boots have to be worn.

The wool tights designed in this way warm only where the body is not otherwise covered and shows a fashionable, woolly warmly clad leg with a slim body silhouette at the same time.
