Abstract

The present invention relates to a cooling device (1) comprising a body (2); a compressor (10) which is positioned in the body (2) for performing the cooling cycle and which circulates the refrigerant; a housing (3) which is positioned at the rear side of the body (2) and wherein the compressor (10) is mounted; a support (7) whereon the compressor (10) is placed so as to be mounted into the housing (3); a channel (4) for enabling the support (7) to be slidably mounted into the housing (3); a claw (6) for fixing the support (7) in the housing (3); and the support (7) having at least one hole (8) which receives the claw (6).

Description

    A COOLING DEVICE COMPRISING A COMPRESSOR SUPPORT
  • The present invention relates to a cooling device, especially a refrigerator, comprising a support which facilitates the mounting of the compressor.
  • In refrigerators, there is a special fluid (hydrofluorocarbon, etc.) which flows through pipes. Said fluid is continuously circulated in the system by means of a compressor. Said fluid has heat transfer properties and can be in the gas or liquid phase depending on the temperature of the environment. At the same time said fluid transfer the heat in the refrigerator to the outside air. Thus, until the temperature of the air inside falls to the determined value, it loses heat and cools down.
  • The compressor is generally positioned at the rear lower side of the refrigerators and compresses the refrigerant with pressure to transmit the same to the condenser. In other words, the refrigerant is transferred to the serpentine pipes disposed at the rear side of the refrigerators.  The main components used for controlling the temperature of the air inside the refrigerator during the cooling cycle are the compressor, the condenser and the evaporator. Therefore, it is critical to properly mount said components to the refrigerators. In the refrigerators used today, the compressor is generally fixed onto a support, and then said support is mounted to the refrigerator. In general, the support is fixed to the refrigerator by means of a screwed connection. However, said connection screws cannot be tightened properly, causing the compressor on the support to vibrate and generate noise during the operation of the refrigerator. This results in inconvenient conditions for the user.
  • In the state of the art Chinese Utility Model Document No. CN207214601, a compressor mounting plate is disclosed, which can be mounted to the refrigerator by means of connection members.
  • The aim of the present invention is the realization of a cooling device comprising a compressor support which can be mounted without requiring any connection member such as screw, etc.
  • The cooling device of the present invention comprises a support which is used for easily mount the compressor. Said support comprises a flat surface whereon the compressor is positioned.
  • The cooling device of the present invention comprises a channel which is arranged in the housing and through which the support used for mounting the compressor is easily slid. There are two identical channels which are positioned parallel to each other on two lateral surfaces of the housing.
  • The channel further comprises a protrusion-shaped claw.
  • The support further comprises at least one hole which is used for fixation after being slid through the channels on the cooling device. Said hole is positioned at a region of the support remaining inside the channel. Said hole has a shape and size suitable for fitting the claw in the channel.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the support comprises connection surfaces which can be easily held by the user and which are positioned on the width parts of the support perpendicularly to the surface whereon the compressor is disposed. The width parts of the support are the short sides of the support which are aligned with the channels on the cooling device. In this embodiment, the channel comprises an opening-shaped channel inlet which has a height greater than the height of the channel. Since said connection surfaces are shaped as extensions perpendicular to the support, the connection surfaces can be easily passed through said channel inlets.
  • By means of the present invention, a cooling device is realized comprising a support which can be easily dismounted by the service personnel in case of any malfunction of the compressor.
  • The model embodiments relating to the support and the cooling device realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention are illustrated in the attached figures, where:
  • Figure 1 - is the sideways perspective view of the support for mounting the compressor in the cooling device of the present invention.
  • Figure 2 - is the sideways perspective view of the support for mounting the compressor in the cooling device of the present invention in an embodiment.
  • Figure 3 – is the sideways perspective view of the rear side of the cooling device of the present invention.
  • Figure 4 - is the front view of the rear side of the cooling device of the present invention after the completion of the mounting of the support.

  • The cooling device (1) comprises a body (2); a compressor (10) which is positioned in the body (2) for performing the cooling cycle and which circulates the refrigerant; a housing (3) which is positioned at the rear side of the body (2) and wherein the compressor (10) is mounted; and a support (7) whereon the compressor (10) is placed so as to be mounted into the housing (3).
  • The cooling device (1) of the present invention comprises a channel (4) for enabling the support (7) to be slidably mounted into the housing (3); a claw (6) for fixing the support (7) in the housing (3); and the support (7) having at least one hole (8) which receives the claw (6).
  • In cooling devices (1) such as refrigerator, etc., the cooling cycle is performed with the circulation of the refrigerant in the body (2), and thus the hot air entering the body (2) of the cooling device (1) when the user opens/closes the same for accessing foodstuffs is cooled. The compressor (10) delivers the refrigerant to the components required for continuing said cycle. The compressor (10) is generally mounted to the cooling device (1) via the housing (3) which is in the form of a compartment in the cooling device (1). The compressor (10) is placed onto the support (7) before being mounted into the cooling device (1). After the compressor (10) is fixed to the support (7), the support (7) is slid through the channels (4) in the housing (3). Thus, the support (7) is mounted to the housing (3) and the body (2) without using any connection member such as screw, etc. In order to fix the support (7) to the channel (4), the hole (8) arranged on the support (7) is fitted over the claw (6) in the channel (4). Thus, the support (7) is securely fixed into the housing (3).
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the channel (4) is higher than the support (7) as much as at least one claw (6). Thus, by means of the channel (4) being higher than the support (7), the support (7) can be easily moved while being mounted into the channel (4) and the hole (8) is fitted over the claw (6).
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the support (7) comprises a surface whereon the compressor (10) is placed and a connection surface (9) perpendicular to said surface. By means of said connection surface (9), the user is enabled to easily hold the support (7) and fit the same into the channel (4).
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the support (7) comprises two connection surfaces (9) which is positioned parallel to each other at the two short edges thereof which are considered as the width. The long edges of the support (7) are called length and the short edges thereof width. Therefore, in this embodiment, the support (7) is placed into two parallel channels (4) in the housing (3) by means of the connection surfaces (9), and the hole (8) is fitted over the claw (6).
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the support (7) of the cooling device (1) comprises a channel inlet (5) which enables the connection surface (9) to be fitted into the housing (3). The channel inlet (5) is an opening with a height suitable for inserting the connection surface (9), and thus, the connection surface (9) which is perpendicular to the support (7) and which creates an elevation from the support (7) surface.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the cooling device (1) comprises identical channels (4) which are positioned parallel to each other on the two lateral surfaces of the housing (3). Thus, the support (7) can be fitted into the housing (3) in a balanced manner so as not to shake.
  • By means of the present invention, a cooling device (1) is realized, wherein the compressor (10) is mounted by means of the compressor support (7) without requiring any additional connection member such as screw, etc.

Claims (5)

  1. A cooling device (1) comprising a body (2); a compressor (10) which is positioned in the body (2) for performing the cooling cycle and which circulates the refrigerant; a housing (3) which is positioned at the rear side of the body (2) and wherein the compressor (10) is mounted; and a support (7) whereon the compressor (10) is placed so as to be mounted into the housing (3), characterized by a channel (4) for enabling the support (7) to be slidably mounted into the housing (3); a claw (6) for fixing the support (7) in the housing (3); and the support (7) having at least one hole (8) which receives the claw (6).
  2. A cooling device (1) as in Claim 1, characterized by the support (7) which has a connection surface (9) which is perpendicular to the surface thereof whereon the compressor (10) is placed.
  3. A cooling device (1) as in Claim 1 or 2, characterized by the support (7) comprising two connection surfaces (9) which are positioned parallel two each other on the two short edges thereof.
  4. A cooling device (1) as in any one of the above claims, characterized by a channel inlet (5) which enables the support (7) to be fitted into the housing (3).
  5. A cooling device (1) as in any one of the above claims, characterized by identical channels which are positioned parallel to each other on two lateral surfaces of the housing (3).
