Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a lightsaber-type accessory.
  • lightsaber which includes a luminous blade and a handle.
  • a lightsaber wields like a conventional saber, but emits light and/or sound during combat.
  • lightsaber-type accessories have been marketed, whether for play, for artistic performances, or for collecting. These accessories are usually formed of a cylindrical handle on which is mounted a tubular blade. One or more LEDs emit light to illuminate the tubular blade.
  • a first problem associated with these lightsaber-type accessories is the large size of the tubular blade, which makes it difficult to transport the lightsaber-type accessories. It is therefore preferable to be able to mount and dismount the tubular blade on the handle.
  • the tubular blade is fixed using one or more screws which block the tubular blade on the handle. This fixing means requires the use of tools for assembly and disassembly.
  • the assembly and disassembly of the tubular blade on the handle is complex.
  • the holding in position of the tubular blade on the handle depends on the quality of the fastening system and, sometimes, may be insufficient in the event of an impact in particular.
  • the end piece is fixed to the outside of the tube and comprises a shoulder capable of coming into abutment against the first end of the sleeve and in that the sleeve comprises, from its first end, a well in which the the tip is engaged up to its shoulder, the clamping ring being engaged from the distal end of the tube to be fitted onto the tip.
  • a second problem associated with lightsabers of the prior art relates to the mounting in the handle of the electronic system making it possible to illuminate the tubular blade and/or to emit sounds according to the movements detected and shocks suffered by the lightsaber.
  • the LED or LEDs are lit by applying pressure to a button placed projecting from the handle.
  • this button is connected to an electronic system by electric wires.
  • the sounds are conventionally emitted through a loudspeaker placed in the handle, and also connected to the electronic system by electric wires.
  • mounting the electronic system in the handle can be complex.
  • batteries are used to power the electronic system. It is therefore preferable to reduce the bulk of the electronic system in the handle, in order to be able to increase the capacity of the batteries and then improve the autonomy of the lightsabers.
  • an audio peripheral such as a loudspeaker or a helmet
  • the invention relates to a lightsaber type accessory 1 comprising a tubular blade 2 fixed to a handle 3 and comprising at least one light source 4.
  • the lightsaber type accessory 1 comprises at least one light source 4, positioned either in the handle 3, or along the tubular blade 2.

  • the tube 5 is translucent or even transparent.
  • tube 5 can be loaded with diffusing dye(s).
  • the tube 5 has a thickness of between 2 mm and 3 mm.
  • the tube 5 can be made of polycarbonate.

  • the endpiece 11 further comprises a second end 11 2 , or free end, comprising a stop bottom 14 for the tube 5 which is extended at right angle by a return 15 to the inside the tube 5.
  • This profile of the endpiece 11 allows the tube 5 to be held in position, and possibly the light diffusion and conduction system when the latter is present, even when the tubular blade 2 is mounted or disassembled from the handle 3, and even in the event of an impact suffered by the lightsaber type accessory 1.
  • the tube 5 is provided from its free end and over a determined length, externally, with the tip 11 and inside the return 15.
