Description
The invention relates to a wall attachment for a shower rail of a shower system according to the preamble of claim 1.
Such a shower rail pipe is usually mounted on an installation wall in the vertical direction, spaced a predetermined distance from the installation wall in the depth direction. To attach the shower rail pipe, this is connected to a bracket which in turn is attached to the installation wall.
As a rule, the shower rail pipe is connected to the console via a clamp that grips the shower rail pipe. However, this creates two circumferential dirt edges per clamp, which extend over the entire circumference of the shower rail tube. Dirt, such as shampoo and soap residues, easily accumulates in the area of these, which is difficult to remove in the area of the dirt edges.
In the case of shower rail pipes, the pipe ends should also be sealed watertight to prevent the ingress of dirt and to ensure a long service life for the shower rail pipe. This usually works well with new shower systems. Over time, however, all the parts installed in the shower system age and the watertightness of the shower rail pipe closures can no longer be guaranteed. In addition, shampoo and soap residues as well as water accumulate inside the shower rail due to the decreasing watertightness. With known shower systems, it is not possible to clean the shower system in such a case with justifiable effort.

The end cap and the mounting section together form a multi-part assembly that allows a complex geometry to be selected for both the mounting section and the end cap without complicating the manufacturing process of the wall attachment according to the invention. In the multi-part assembly, the end cap and the assembly section can be made of different materials.
In a technical implementation, the mounting section has a nut or a threaded insert on a side facing the console, which, in cooperation with a fastening screw, connects the mounting section to the console on one side through the inner wall of the shower rail pipe.
According to the invention, the mounting section has a first latching element with a first latching hook and a second latching element with a second latching hook, the first latching hook engaging in a corresponding first recess of the end cap and the second latching hook engaging in a corresponding second one of the end cap in order to snap the end cap over to connect a snap-in connection with the mounting section in a form-fitting manner.
According to the invention, the end cap has a sleeve and a cover that closes the sleeve on one side, the first recess and the second recess being made in an outer lateral surface of the sleeve and the first latching element and the second latching element each having their sides opposite the latching hooks on an inner wall of the shower rail tube in order to prevent the locking elements in their movement in relation to the shower rail tube radially outwards.
With regard to a further embodiment, the first latching hook and the first latching element have a first width b1 and the second latching hook and the second latching element have a second width b2, the first width b1 and the second width b2 having different amounts, and the first Recess is adapted to the width b1 and the second recess to the width b2 to positively connect the end cap in a predefined orientation relative to the mounting portion with the mounting portion.
In a further preferred embodiment, the mounting section has a height stop, in particular in the form of a lug, which engages in a groove in the end cap in order to limit a first mechanical play of the first locking element in the first recess and a second mechanical play of the second locking element in the limit second recess. The mechanical play is limited in a direction parallel to a longitudinal axis of the shower rail pipe.
According to one embodiment, the mounting section has a receiving space on a side facing the console, in particular a conical countersink or a flat countersink, which is arranged concentrically around an axis of the thread of the nut or the thread of the threaded insert and which extends radially inward in relation to the shower rail pipe extends. The receiving space is designed to receive a burr present in the area of the bore.
It is preferred that the mounting section has an annular elevation on a side facing the console, which is arranged concentrically around a bore axis of a bore in the shower rail tube and which extends radially outwards in relation to the shower rail tube, the elevation being centered in the bore in the shower rail tube to fix the mounting portion in its location and position relative to the shower rail tube.
In a specific embodiment variant, the cover has a positioning contour that engages in a complementary contour that is introduced into an end face of the shower rail tube or applied to it in order to hold the cover in a predefined orientation against rotation relative to the shower rail tube.
In one exemplary embodiment, the notches or steps are introduced into the shower rail pipe from the end face of the shower rail pipe parallel to an axis of rotational symmetry of the shower rail pipe. One or more corresponding shoulders in the cover of the end cap engage in these notches or steps in order to prevent the end cap from twisting relative to the shower rail pipe.
With regard to a further embodiment, the mounting section has a support base connected to the mounting section via one or more spring elements or one or more material webs, each with an elastic extension, which elastically presses a first area of the mounting section against the side facing the inner wall of the shower rail pipe in order to to press the first area of the assembly section radially outwards and in the direction of the fastening screw when screwing in the fastening screw in relation to the shower rail pipe.

For the connection between the
The mounting
In the example shown, the mounting
As an alternative to the
On the side facing away from the
In the
The
In the installed state, the

A further difference between the
When assembling the wall fasteners according to the invention, the end caps 40 and 90 can first be clipped onto the corresponding mounting
