Abstract

A table has a table top (2) and several table legs (3.5). The table top (2) and the table legs (3, 5) are connected with a separate connecting body (7). The table top (2) is magnetically connected to the connecting body (7). The result is a table that can be flexibly designed and used.

Description

The invention relates to a table. The invention also relates to a set with at least one table and a set of at least two tables.

Such a table is known from EP 0 888 735 B1 . The DE 296 15 610 U1 discloses a table system. The DE 2020 14 398 U1 discloses a leg support for furniture. The US 2011/0316313 A1 discloses a base support body for furniture. The DE 20 2008 013 558 U1 reveals a table. The DE 20 2012 102 539 U1 discloses a fastening device for a table top on an underframe.

Tables are mostly limited to local use. The transport of a table is usually only possible with great effort and not by a single person. In addition, the table components often cannot be changed. After purchasing and placing a table, it remains in place in terms of its function and design. Transportable and modular tables are mostly limited in terms of their design to the functional application. The materials, the feel and the design are mainly aimed at practical use.

It is an object of the present invention to develop a table in such a way that it can be flexibly designed and used.

This object is achieved according to the invention by a table with the features specified in claim 1.

In the case of the table according to the invention, a connecting function is mainly performed by a connecting body separate from the table top and the table legs. This greatly increases the design freedom when designing the table top on the one hand and the table legs on the other hand, since less consideration has to be given to a direct connection function between the table top and the table legs. The connecting body can have a disk-shaped basic shape. Such a table enables demand-oriented, location-independent and design-variable use. Due to the releasable connection of the connecting body, table components can be designed to be interchangeable on the one hand with the table top and on the other hand with the table legs and can be processed, renewed, supplemented and personalized. In particular, the table can be assembled without tools.

Heat- and erosion-resistant special designs are possible by painting the surfaces and guarantee long-term use without signs of wear outdoors, for example in the area of yachts and boats when the air is salty. A sustainable and resource-saving use of the table is made possible by the fact that the individual components can be reconditioned, replaced and renewed. The table can be adjusted in terms of its function in different table leg heights and used variably as an office and living room table as well as a club and side table. With fabric covers on the surface, it can basically also be used as a place to sit or lie down (two connected tables result in a larger area to sit or lie on).

The table top is magnetically connected to the connecting body. Such a magnetic connection enables further degrees of design freedom. The table legs can be magnetically connected to the connecting body, which can be used in particular to secure the table legs to the connecting body. In particular, tool-free assembly of the table legs on the connecting body is possible.

Plug-in guides according to claim 2 allow an easily manufacturable and yet stable and detachable connection technology. Such a table can cover a variety of functions and uses. A guiding direction of the plug-in guides can run parallel to a plate plane of the table top. This makes it possible to realize the table with a large clear height under the table top, which advantageously makes legroom under the table large.

The table legs can have an essentially horizontal and an essentially vertical leg section. The respective table leg can pass over an edgeless bend between these two leg sections.

A table leg and guide profile according to claim 3 can be designed as a V, U, T or X profile.

A holder, in particular the table legs, can be magnetically fixed via the plug-in guide. Alternatively or additionally, the table legs can be magnetically fixed to the table top. For this purpose, the table top can be equipped with at least one magnet in areas in which the table legs are in contact with the table top. The magnetic fixation of the Table legs on the table top can be so strong that the table top, as far as the fixation takes place over all table legs, cannot easily be detached from the table legs. The fixation can be such that the detachment of an individual table leg from the connecting body and / or from the table top, for example by pulling the respective table leg end section out of the associated plug-in guide of the connecting body, is easily possible.

A connecting plate section according to claim 5 enables a modular design of the table. The connecting plate section can be visible as part of the table top from a visible side of the table. This can be used as a design element. A connection between the table top and the connecting body via the connecting plate section is carried out magnetically and, if necessary, can also be done by screwing.

A collar / step configuration according to claim 6 enables good absorption of a counterforce when holding the table top on the connecting body. The connecting plate section can be inserted flush into the tabletop receptacle, so that in particular it does not protrude beyond the rest of the tabletop. The table top can therefore also be designed to be planar and practically joint-free in the area of the connecting plate section.

Guide grooves according to claim 7 lead to an advantageous fixation of the table top. In the area of the connecting body, in particular a plug-in guide can be designed in such a way that the fixing edge areas of the table legs also remain free and act in the area of the connecting body.

A carrier bag as part of a set according to claim 8 can be used to transport and store table components and can protect the table from damage. The carrier bag can be used as a shipping bag, as a travel bag or as a multifunctional bag that can be used for other purposes. The carrier bag can have an interior division for storing the individual components. Such an interior division can be designed to be removable and can be designed to be interchangeable with a further interior division variant. The carrying bag can also accommodate other table components.

The advantages of a set according to claim 9 correspond to those which have already been explained above and with reference to the table and the set with the carrier bag. The set according to claim 9 can be designed to be combinable with that according to claim 8.

The merging of several tables according to the invention to form table formations results in further possible uses for the set, for example in restaurants or seminars.

Foot connection body according to claim 10 allow a fixation of adjacent tables. The foot connection bodies can be formed in the manner of a foot plug-in system.

Fig. 1 shows a table 1 with a round table top 2 and a total of four table legs 3 to 6 (cf. Fig. 2 ), of which in the Fig. 1 only three table legs 3 to 5 are visible. The table 1 also has a separate connecting body 7 (cf. Fig. 3 ), with which the table top 2 and the table legs 3 to 6 are detachably connected.

The table top 2 can be made of wood, plastic or another suitable material. A variant of the table top 2 or 22 can be made from recycled PET bottles.

The table legs 3 to 6 can be made of carbon, wood, plastic or another suitable material.

The table legs 3 to 6 are designed as curved V-profiles, with a vertical section of the respective table leg 3 to 6 merging into a horizontal section without kinks. Alternatively, the table legs 3 to 6 can also be made in several parts.

A length, in particular the vertical sections of the table legs 3 to 6, can vary in size depending on the design of the table 1. For example, it can also be designed as a couch or club table with table legs with a shorter vertical section.

Details of the connection of the table top 2 with the table legs 3 to 6 via the connecting body 7 result from the Figures 4 to 9 . The connecting body 7 has a disk-shaped basic shape. A slice thickness SD is approximately as large as a clear width LW of end sections 8 of the table legs 3 to 6 which are inserted into the connecting body 7. Upper edge areas of the inserted table legs 3 to 6 protrude upward towards the table top 2 over the connecting body 7, which will be explained below.

An outer diameter AD of the connecting body 7 is in the range between a quarter and an eighth of a diameter PD of the table top (cf. for example Fig. 3 ).

The connecting body 7 can be made of metal, for example aluminum.

The connecting body 7 has plug-in guides 9 (cf. Fig. 4 ), one of the table leg end sections 8 being inserted into each of the plug-in guides 9. The end sections 8 and / or the plug-in guides 9 can additionally be designed magnetically to fix the table legs 3 to 6 on the connecting body 7.

The table legs 3 to 6 and in particular their end sections 8 are designed with a table leg profile. In the illustrated embodiment, this is a V-profile.

A guide profiling of the plug-in guides 9 of the connecting body 7 is also designed as a V-profiling complementary to this V-profiling of the table legs 3 to 6, such as in particular Fig. 4 shows. Legs 10, 11 of this V-profile 9 have an angle to each other, which can be 90 ° or can be slightly larger than 90 °, so that an obtuse V-profiling results from this. The angle between the legs 10, 11 of the V-profile can for example be in the range between 90 ° and 110 °, for example 95 ° or 100 °.

The table 1 has a connecting plate section 12 that is separate from the rest of the table top 2 (cf. in particular Fig. 5 ). The latter is accommodated in a table-top receptacle 13 for connecting the table top 2 to the connecting body 7. The connecting plate section 12 has a radially protruding collar 14 which is inserted into a radial step 15 of the table top receptacle 13, which is designed to be complementary thereto. The collar 14 and, complementary thereto, the step 15 can have a conically tapering jacket wall.

With the connection variant according to the Figures 5 and 6 the connection plate section 12 is magnetically connected to a counter magnet section 16 of the connection body 7. Alternatively or additionally, according to the variant according to the Figures 7 and 8 , the connecting plate section 12 can be designed as a screw which is screwed into a complementary internal thread 17 in the connecting body 7. An engaging web 18 formed on an underside of the screw variant of the connecting plate section 12 can serve to engage a screwing tool for screwing in this variant of the connecting plate section 12. A tool-free screwing in or loosening of the connecting plate section is also possible. For this purpose, the connecting plate section can be designed as a manually operable screw.

Both with the magnetic holder and with the screw connection, the collar 14 transmits a holding force from the connecting body 7 to the table top 2 via the step 15.

The bottom view of the table top 2 after Fig. 12 shows that this has guide grooves 19 on its side facing the table legs 3 to 6, in which in turn edge regions 20 of the table legs 3 to 6 facing the table top 2 engage in order to fix the table top 2. The V-profile of the plug-in guide 9 is designed in such a way that it opens into a cover 21 of the connecting body 7 facing the table top 2. This means that the edge areas 20, including the end sections 8 of the table legs 3 to 6, protrude beyond the cover 21 where they are inserted into the connecting body and thus remain free, so that the edge areas 20 are continuously fixed with the guide grooves 19 the table top 2 is also given in the area of the connecting body 7.

Figures 10 and 11 show a further embodiment of a corresponding table in which, in contrast to the embodiment according to the Figs. 1 and 2 a table top 22 is made square. A typical diameter of such a table top 22 corresponds to the diameter PD according to the embodiment Fig. 3 can be understood as the mean value between a diagonal and a square side of the table top 22. A connection structure or substructure of the table 1 according to the Figures 10 and 11 corresponds to what has been said above in connection with the Figures 1 to 9 has already been explained.

The supervision according to the Fig. 2 and 11 it can be seen that the table legs 3 to 6 protrude laterally over the silhouette of the table top 2 or 22. This makes it possible, through the use of foot connection bodies 23 (see. Fig. 15 ), into which the bottom end sections 24 of the table legs 3 to 6 can be inserted, to put together and fix adjacent tables 1 to form table set configurations. For such set configurations, tables with the square table tops 22 or tables with rectangular table tops (not shown), which are otherwise based on the designs, are particularly suitable Figs. 1 to 13 correspond.

Alternatively, the bottom end sections 24 of the table legs 3 to 6 can be provided with plug-in elements 25. The foot connection body 23 according to Fig. 15 as well as the plug element 25 according to Fig. 14 in turn each have a V-profile similar to that of the plug-in guide 9 of the connecting body 7.

To a set to which at least one table according to the type of execution from the Figures 1 to 15 belongs, can also include a carrying case to accommodate the table top 2 or 22, the table legs 3 to 6 and the connecting body 7 and the connecting plate section 12. Also other components, for example foot connection body of the type of foot connection body 23 according to Fig. 15 as well as plug-in elements according to the type of plug-in element 25 Fig. 14 , can belong to such a set. The bag can be made from a woven plastic material.

The foot connection body 23 and / or the plug element 25 can be made at least on the bottom side from non-slip, for example rubberized, material.

An interior division of such a carrier bag can have several foam inserts, which can be designed to be removable. The Components of the set can be embedded in corresponding recesses. The foam inserts can be designed so that they can be removed or inserted through a pocket opening for removing and inserting the table components.

A connecting body 26, the function of which is basically the same as that of the connecting body 7 of the embodiments according to the Figures 1 to 15 corresponds to, apart from the table top receptacle 13, has a continuous cover 21. In comparison to the connection body 7, the connection body 26 lacks grooves which result in the connection body 7 due to the opening out of the V-profile of the plug-in guide 9. Compared to a clear height of the edge regions 20, the cover 21 of the connecting body 26 is increased and thus protrudes over what is in the Figure 16 is only indicated. The edge areas 20 are thus completely inserted into the connecting body 26 in the area of the free ends of the table legs 3 to 6 facing the connecting body 26.

Figure 17 shows an embodiment of a round table top 27, which instead of the table top 2 with the connecting body 26 and the table legs 3 to 6 according to Figure 16 can be assembled to a round table. The guide grooves 19 are not present in the area of the connecting body receptacle 28.

For this purpose, a magnet 30 is embedded in each of the guide grooves 19 in alignment with them in the radial end area. The table legs 3 to 6 in this version are made of magnetic material. A magnetic holding force between the magnets 30 and the edge areas 20 of the table legs 3 to 6 as well as a magnetic force for connecting the connecting plate section 12 to the counter magnet section 16 of the connecting body 26 can be so great that the table top 27 cannot be affected by the Table legs 3 to 6 can be lifted off.
