Abstract

The invention relates to a suitcase crockery, in particular a multifunctional suitcase crockery for dimensionally stable hand luggage trolleys, and a suitcase with integrated crockery, in particular a dimensionally stable hand luggage rolling suitcase with an integrated multifunctional crockery. It is provided that a suitcase (10) with a multifunctional crockery is equipped, which, in addition to a seat pad that can be arranged variably, allows the case (10) with the lid half (16) to be carried on a person's back, whereby the crockery can be attached to the case (10) in a space-saving and compact manner. This object is achieved by means of a case harness for a conventional case (10) and a case (10) with integrated harness according to the independent claims.

The invention relates to suitcase crockery, in particular multifunctional suitcase crockery for dimensionally stable hand luggage trolleys, and a suitcase with integrated crockery, in particular a dimensionally stable hand luggage trolley case with integrated multifunctional crockery.

Suitcases in particular are used to store and transport the necessary luggage when traveling. These are available in different versions and sizes, whereby in most cases a hand luggage case (typical external dimensions maximum 55 x 40 x 20 cm ³ ) is used. Hard-shell suitcases, in particular, are preferred travel companions because of their high stability and robustness and because of their better protection against rain and moisture.

Travelers with such suitcases are currently unable to use them as (emergency) seats on the train or in waiting areas, or only very inconveniently, and rental bicycles or e-scooters cannot be used for them due to the inadequate mounting options Use bridging the "last mile". In addition, with wheeled suitcases used as seating, the problem often arises that they do not have any brakes and can therefore perform jerky movements in the approaching or braking train. From the DE 10 2006 051 765 B4 a backpack with a frame and a cover is known which can be carried on the back and can also be used as a seat due to a stable outer frame. However, none of the three carrying systems mentioned are suitable for use with conventional suitcases. In addition, these carrying systems only offer an emergency seat option, if at all, which offers little comfort for prolonged sitting and lingering, for example in the aisle of overcrowded trains.

From the DE 20 2016 004 333 U1 a roll-on luggage cover with a backpack function is known, which, however, is not suitable as a seat due to a flexible sheathing. A suitcase, which includes a fold-out emergency seat, can EP 1 402 797 A1 can be removed. However, this emergency seat is only intended for smaller children and is not suitable for larger loads from adults. Incidentally, this seat is integrated into the corresponding case and is not suitable for use with conventional cases. In the pamphlets US 2009/0289480 A1 , US 2004/0021353 A1 and EP 3 113 647 B1 systems compatible with conventional suitcases are disclosed, but these are also only suitable as an emergency seat for children. However, all of the mentioned emergency seat systems lack a corresponding carrying option for use with typical small means of transport.

The invention is now based on the object of overcoming or at least reducing the problems of the prior art and of providing a solution for the "last mile" transport difficulties that occur when traveling with previous travel and hand luggage suitcases. The object according to the invention is achieved by means of a suitcase harness and a suitcase with integrated crockery according to the independent claims. Preferred further developments are the subject of the respective back-referenced subclaims.

A suitcase can in particular be a typical foldable travel or hand luggage suitcase in the form of a cuboid. It is preferably a case in which rollers (also referred to as wheels) are attached to at least one side (wheeled case). The case can preferably be a dimensionally stable hard-shell case or a so-called half-shell case. Such cases are typically characterized by the fact that these two lid halves (an upper and a lower lid half), a short handle side with a first handle (usually opposite to the side with the rollers), and a long handle side with a second handle (usually opposite to the side along which it is opened), with suitcase locks possibly located on the long handle side on both sides of the second handle.

On the side of the case opposite the long handle side there are mostly rotatable joints (hinges) for opening the case. The opening can, however, also be implemented without joints via an area which is otherwise designed for folding the case halves and adjoins the opening edge, for example a flexible connection of the Suitcase halves in this area. The opening edge is the area where the two halves of the cover of the case meet when closing. The case can be closed, for example, by means of a zipper that extends at least in sections along the opening edge or by means of case locks.

The length-adjustable belt straps can be, for example, lashing straps, fixed straps or flexible straps. The straps should be adaptable to different case sizes (e.g. by other case models or manufacturers) and, in particular, enable additional accessories to be attached by clamping, lashing or similar. The straps should be able to be wrapped around the various axes of the case so that they can be grasped. While the first belt strap is intended to surround the case along its opening edge, the two second belt straps should be able to surround the case perpendicular to its opening edge.

The first belt strap has along its longitudinal axis two shoulder strap holders protruding transversely, which are provided to be guided through below a handle on the short handle side of the case to the closest half of the lid of the case. The first belt strap furthermore has a plurality of double straps along its longitudinal axis for the passage of the second belt straps. A double strap denotes in particular a strap section which is designed in two layers and in which the layers are firmly connected to each other at the respective section ends in such a way that a flat eyelet for the passage of a second strap results. The double flap can, however, also be constructed differently, for example by using several or different layers. The inside of a double flap is preferably friction-reinforced on one or both sides. This can be done, for example, by gumming or roughening the respective surfaces. By increasing the friction, the connection between the second belt straps guided through the double straps and the first belt strap can be improved.

The length-adjustable second belt straps have the particular task of preventing the first belt strap from slipping and of fixing it to the case. For this purpose, the second belt straps can be reinforced with friction at the points where they are passed through the double straps of the first belt strap. Such a friction reinforcement can preferably be provided with a friction reinforcement on one or both sides on the inside interact with a double flap of the first belt strap. Instead of a friction reinforcement, the respective surfaces can also be designed as corresponding elements of a Velcro strip. The case can be protected against accidental opening by means of the second belt straps attached to the case. The second belt straps can also be attached individually to the case without using the first belt strap. Another function of the straps is that the padding plate can be attached to the case. Fastening can take place, for example, by clamping the padding plate between the two second belt straps and the case.

The second belt straps preferably each have a section with an upholstery plate belt, the upholstery plate belts being suitable for fastening the upholstery plate to the suitcase harness. The upholstery plate belts can be designed in such a way that they each form a double flap over said section along the second belt straps. The double flap can preferably be opened by means of a buckle or some other type of closure. Such an embodiment with an additional upholstery plate belt has the advantage that the second belt straps placed on a suitcase do not need to be loosened for fastening the upholstery plate and they can thus continue to firmly enclose the suitcase. A section located on the second belt straps with an additional upholstery plate strap enables the upholstery plate to be attached to the second belt straps by means of the double straps, independently of the attachment of the second belt straps to a suitcase. The length of the upholstery plate belts is preferably adjustable.

The position and the length of the double flap section on the second belt straps are preferably set such that the double flap should extend along the top of one case half. This means that the upholstery plate can be completely fixed on this side. A buckle or some other lock should preferably be positioned in such a way that it does not rest on the side of the fixed padding plate facing away from the case. This enables the upholstery plate to be used as a cushion even when it is attached to the case. Preferably, after the suitcase harness has been put on, the double strap section of the second belt straps extends through the associated double straps of the first strap.

A preferably right-angled plate made of a compressible soft material, which is suitable as a comfortable seat pad or as a back cushion, is referred to as a padding plate. This can in particular be a foam, for example made of polyurethane (PU), polyethylene (PE) or silicone.

The upholstery plate has a depression (in the sense of a spatial recess) at least on one side. If the upholstery plate is used as a seat pad, the handle on the short handle side or a handle on a long handle side can be completely accommodated in the recess in this recess. The fixing of the upholstery plate can be improved in that the edge areas of the upholstery plate, at which the second belt straps are bent around the upholstery plate during fixing, are designed to be tapered. The width of the padding plate is slightly smaller at these waists, so that the padding plate can be effectively prevented from slipping out of the second belt straps.

In order to prevent the upholstery plate from slipping when it is used as a seat, the inside of the recess can be provided with a rubber coating. With this rubber coating, the upholstery plate can be fixed above a handle by means of increased friction. The padding plate is preferably gummed in the area around the depression on the surface of the padding plate containing the depression.

Due to the different external dimensions of a case, it basically offers three possible seat heights. The upholstery plate can preferably comprise, at least in sections, an inner core made of a rigid material, for example a hardboard or wood board. The cushion plate is preferably designed as an inflatable or self-inflating cushion. The upholstery cushion can preferably consist of a foldable plastic material. To increase comfort, the surface can be covered with a soft, velor-like material. A self-inflating cushion can be constructed in such a way that it can be strongly compressed under pressure, but when it is relaxed it returns to its original volume while absorbing air from the surroundings. In particular, a self-inflating cushion can comprise a foam material or mechanical springs or spring cores in its interior. The upholstery cushion can preferably be fixed to one half of the cover by means of Velcro fasteners. An inflatable or self-inflating cushion as a cushion plate can simply be folded or rolled up when not in use. As a result, it takes up less space than a rigid pad. It can also be used as a flexible pad independently of the case. Furthermore, weight can be saved by such an upholstery cushion. The case can be carried on the back like a rucksack, hands-free. In particular, this enables the use of typical micro-forms of transport, such as rental bicycles or e-scooters, as feeders to a main form of transport. Due to the arrangement of the shoulder strap holders and their implementation below a handle, the forces arising from the use of a rucksack can be optimally absorbed and deflected via the case handle holder. Otherwise, these forces would pull the dishes down from the case. The shoulder strap holders are attached to the first belt strap in such a way that the harness is warped or deformed as little as possible when the case is carried as a backpack. The shoulder straps can also be easily removed to roll a suitcase. The case can thus be rolled smoothly.

One idea of the invention is therefore that, taking into account the maximum permitted load weight, each travel or hand luggage case can be converted into a comfortable seat or, for example, to use a rental bike or an e-scooter as a backpack. With the rucksack option, the padding plate, which is normally used as a seat cushion, can then be used as a back pad, which enables the case to be carried comfortably. Other uses as a backpack, such as B. to overcome height differences through many steps in train stations and airports, or on unpaved surfaces, are obvious. The suitcase harness thus offers a simple way of converting conventional suitcases into a multifunctional suitcase backpack or a seat with at least two different heights in just a few simple steps.

The suitcase harness preferably further comprises a light that can be fastened to the belt straps. This can in particular be a red taillight, which when worn of the suitcase as a backpack can increase its rear visibility in the dark. The light can preferably be attached to one of the second belt straps. Fastening can take place, for example, using Velcro strips, hooks located on the light, or pockets attached to the belt, as well as using another conventional type of fastening.

The color of the first and the two second belt straps is preferably different to avoid confusion when the harness is placed on the case. This enables the suitcase harness to be put on quickly and easily even under difficult conditions, for example after the start of the journey on a crowded platform or on a train.

The suitcase harness preferably further comprises a roller protection in the form of a frame, with one roller side of the suitcase being able to be set up in the frame placed on the floor so that the rollers are relieved and the suitcase is held in a stable manner by the frame. The roller protection makes the rollers float, so that when the case is used as a "high stool", i.e. when sitting on the side of the case opposite the rollers, the suitcase rolls are protected from damage due to excessive weight. To store the roll protector, it can be placed in the recess of the pad when not in use. The dimensions of the recess preferably correspond to the outer dimensions of the frame, so that it can be largely positively fixed in the recess. The frame is preferably designed in such a way that there is still enough space inside the recess to fully accommodate the remaining suitcase crockery accessories. The crockery and in particular the roller protector can thus be stored and transported without any problems when the suitcase crockery is not in use.

The roller guard can be provided with buffers, e.g. made of rubber, on its upper side. The buffers can protect the outside of the case from damage by the frame of the roller guard. Depending on the arrangement of the buffers, these can also be adapted to a specific case profile and thereby enable the support area of the frame to be optimally adapted to the shape of the case. The frame preferably has a large number of feet, for example made of rubber, as a floor support on its underside. These enable the case to stand firmly even on problematic surfaces (e.g. gravel, paving stones, sensitive parquet or laminate).

The suitcase harness preferably further comprises at least one third belt strap, which is provided to stabilize the first belt strap on the underside of the case and can be attached to a second strap. In particular, the third belt strap can already be firmly connected to the first belt strap at the corresponding point, see above that the third belt strap, for example, can only be wound or looped around the closer second belt strap on the left and right-hand sides and can then be fixed accordingly. The long side of the handle, which can also be referred to as the long front, is opposite the long back of the case. The handle sides are the preferred locations for attaching handles, but the actual presence of handles is not important.

A suitcase according to the invention largely corresponds to the case types already mentioned for the suitcase dishes according to the invention, so reference is made to the corresponding parts of the description. The fastening means are preferably eyelets, retractable belt holders in the case frame or retaining pins sunk in the case frame. The belt tensioners can in particular be roller belt tensioners with automatic retraction (similar to a seat belt in a car). Manual locking of the length of the protruding belt strap can be provided. The case preferably also comprises rollers (or wheels) on one side of the case, which are arranged in such a way that they can be retracted into the case frame when the case is loaded above a specified maximum load, so that the case rests with the roller side on the floor . The cushion plate for a suitcase according to the invention is preferably designed as an inflatable or self-inflating cushion. The upholstery cushion can preferably consist of a foldable plastic material. To increase comfort, the surface can be covered with a soft, velor-like material. A self-inflating cushion can be constructed in such a way that it can be strongly compressed under pressure, but when it is relaxed it returns to its original volume while absorbing air from the surroundings. In particular, a self-inflating cushion can comprise a foam material or mechanical springs or spring cores in its interior. The upholstery cushion can preferably be fixed to one half of the cover by means of Velcro fasteners.
