Claims (12)

  1. Hydrostatic machine (1) comprising:
    - a stator (2) equipped with fixings for a structure and comprising a circumferential cam track (14);
    - a rotor (3) provided with fixings for a rotating drive element and comprising circumferentially distributed pistons (8) suitable for interacting with the cam track (14);
    - a hydraulic distributor (17) suitable for selectively supplying the pistons (8) with hydraulic fluid so that the interaction of the pistons (8) with the cam track (14) corresponds to a relative rotation of the rotor (3) with respect to the stator (2);
    the hydrostatic machine (1) being characterized in that:
    - the stator (2) comprises an internal cylindrical surface (21) of constant diameter and a cam ring (11) that comprises, on its internal circumference, the cam track (14), and that is mounted, via its external circumference, in the internal cylindrical surface (21); and
    - it comprises two bearings (23, 24) that allow the rotation of the rotor (3) with respect to the stator (2), and that are mounted on the internal cylindrical surface (21) of the stator (2), axially on either side of the cam ring (11), the cam ring (11) and the two bearings (23, 24) having the same outside diameter.
  2. Hydrostatic machine according to Claim 1, characterized in that the stator (2) comprises a tubular casing (10), the internal cylindrical surface (21) being defined by the tubular casing (10).
  3. Hydrostatic machine according to Claim 2, characterized in that the cam ring (11) has a ductility lower than that of the tubular casing (10).
  4. Hydrostatic machine according to Claim 3, characterized in that the cam ring (11) is made of bearing steel and in that the tubular casing (10) is made of non-alloy steel.
  5. Hydrostatic machine according to Claim 3, characterized in that the cam ring (11) is made of bearing steel and in that the tubular casing (10) is made of austenitic stainless steel.
  6. Hydrostatic machine according to Claim 4 or 5, characterized in that the material of the cam ring (11) and that of the two bearings (23, 24) is the same bearing steel.
  7. Hydrostatic machine according to one of Claims 2 to 5, characterized in that the cam ring (11) is fitted tightly in the tubular casing (10).
  8. Hydrostatic machine according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises anti-rotation fixings (12, 13) for coupling the cam ring (11) and the stator (2).
  9. Hydrostatic machine according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises:
    - a clamping ring (29) placed axially against one (24) of the bearings and against the rotor (3);
    - a lip seal (35) placed between the clamping ring (29) and the stator (2).
  10. Hydrostatic machine according to Claim 9, characterized in that the clamping ring (29) is fastened to the rotor (3) by a hub (4) screwed into the rotor (3) and bearing the fixings (5) for a rotating drive element.
  11. Hydrostatic machine according to Claim 10, characterized in that the fixings for a rotating drive element consist of screws (5) the heads (38) of which are clamped by the hub (4).
  12. Process for manufacturing a hydrostatic machine (1), characterized in that it comprises the following steps:
    - machining a tube of bearing steel to produce a cam ring (11) having a cam track (14);
    - mounting the cam ring (11) and two bearings (23, 24) on a main body (31) of a rotor (3), the cam ring (11) being clamped between the two bearings (23, 24), to form a sub-assembly;
    - axially inserting the sub-assembly into a stator (2) that comprises an internal cylindrical surface (21) of constant diameter, the bearings (23, 24) and the cam ring (11) becoming mounted in the internal cylindrical surface (21).
