Definitions

  • the invention relates to a mopping press according to the preamble of claim 1 for mopping means which are arranged at the lower end of a handle of a mopping device and, for example, from one in particular in the EP2868250 A1 described fringe mop, a flat textile or foam layer, wiping fibers or cords or similar materials for moistening, cleaning and / or drying surfaces are formed.
  • the wiping agent press according to the invention can also be used for insulated wiping agents such as chamois leather, cleaning cloths and cleaning sponges.
  • the generic wiping agent presses consist of a bucket with an integrated pressing device for the wiping agent. They are usually used in connection with mopping systems in which a mopping device with a handle and a wiping means arranged at the end of the handle in the form of a wipe or mopping pad is used, which is dipped into the bucket and moistened over the bucket, cleaned and using an integrated press is also dried.
  • the EP 0 935 945 A1 or the EP 3 024 371 A1 describe such a cloth-shaped wiping agent. This can be attached to a flat mopping plate on both sides and is loosened on one side for drying or moistening, so that it then hangs down from the solid or frame-shaped mopping plate. The hanging wiping means can then be inserted into the pressing device of the wiping means press.
  • the pressing device is designed so that the hanging wiping means can be inserted from above into an opened pressing space formed by two pressing claws and stored folded several times in this pressing space.
  • the pressing claws are designed so that they can grip the hanging wiping means without having to loosen its one-sided attachment to the mopping plate, so that the wiping means can be inserted into the pressing device via the handle of the mopping device and also removed from the pressing device again.
  • the pressing device has a movable or stationary first pressing claw and a second pressing claw which can be pivoted about a claw pivot axis in the direction of the first pressing claw.
  • Actuating means are also provided, which have an outer adjusting means arranged on the outside of the bucket and movable back and forth by the user for actuating the pressing device and a drive slide arranged in the bucket, mechanically coupled to the outer adjusting means and movable along part of the bucket wall.
  • the drive slide is coupled to the pressing device in such a way that a movement of the drive slide accompanying the movement of the external adjusting means urges the first pressing claw and the second pressing claw towards one another.
  • the external adjusting means is a foot pedal.
  • it can also have a different shape, in particular it can be a lever that can be operated by the user's hand or a rotary knob or even the wiper plate itself, which is then used via the handle to press down the drive slide .
  • Mopping presses according to the invention can also be designed as table-top devices, for example for drying by pressing out a chamois leather or for pressing out plate-shaped mopping plates that are rotated by 90 ° and hanging on the handle of the mopping device, which are then inserted vertically into the pressing device.
  • a generic wiping agent press is from the CN 107 374 535 known.
  • This wiper press has a bucket which has a water reservoir in the lower area, this lower area being separated from an upper area by a liquid-permeable grid.
  • the pressing device is provided in the upper area.
  • the pressing device consists of two pressing claws which are mounted pivotably about two adjacent claw pivot axes. The claw pivot axes each run horizontally and at right angles to the vertical bucket wall, so that the press claws can be opened with the opening oriented upwards and a substantially cylindrical press space is produced that runs parallel to the bottom.
  • the pressing claws are moved via an actuating mechanism which has a lever arranged on one of the outer walls of the bucket as an actuating means.
  • This lever is guided through an elongated hole with the use of suitable sealing means into the interior of the bucket, where it is connected to a drive slide which is mounted movably against the force of a return spring along the bucket wall.
  • the drive carriage On its inner side, the drive carriage has a toothing in the manner of a straight toothed rack, which cooperates in a meshing manner with a gear drive arranged on the adjacent bucket wall.
  • This gear drive has a plurality of individual gear wheels for the transmission and translation of the actuating force and finally drives drive axles which are mounted concentrically to the claw pivot axis and to which the press claws are attached. Since these drive axles are also interlocked and the drive axle of the first press claw drives the drive axle of the second press claw, the press claws are moved towards one another via the gear mechanism to reduce the press space.
  • a wiping agent press is known, the pressing device of which is arranged completely outside the bucket.
  • This has a foot pedal arranged next to the bucket wall, which is connected to a pressing device arranged above the opening of the bucket.
  • the pressing device consists of two pressing claws which can be pivoted about a vertical claw pivot axis and which can clamp a wiping covering hanging down between them as a wiping means.
  • This device has the disadvantage that, on the one hand, the pressing device is arranged outside the bucket and there is thus the risk of splash water contaminating the surroundings. On the other hand, the user has to hold the wiping covering exactly between the pressing claws in order to achieve a satisfactory one To achieve the pressing result.
  • a similar device shows the CN 2 776 280Y , although here the pressing device is provided inside the bucket, but almost completely filling it.
  • a further embodiment of a wiping agent press is known.
  • the pressing device is also provided above the bucket opening.
  • a dunking area for dunking the wiping agent into the bucket water and for rinsing out the wiping agent is arranged next to the pressing device.
  • a handle is provided between this dunking area and the pressing device, by means of which the bucket can be lifted.
  • the handle for actuating the pressing device in the form of a foot pedal extends along the upper side edges of the bucket to the side of the bucket which, from the point of view of the pressing device, lies behind the dunking area.
  • a wiping agent can be effectively squeezed out with this device, it has the disadvantages that, on the one hand, the user has to lift his foot relatively far in order to be able to depress the foot pedal. On the other hand, there is also the risk that the handle will become wet and contaminated by the wiping means hanging over it when the wiping means is transferred from the rinsing area to the dunking area. Finally, the relatively high position of the foot pedal results in higher tilting moments if the user does not load the foot pedal centrally.
  • pressing devices which are arranged in a bucket and clamp and press out a plate-like wiping covering as a wiping means by moving a pressing plate laterally.
  • these pressing devices have the disadvantage that they are rather unsuitable for hanging, non-plate-shaped wiping coverings, since the necessary pressing force is required in the case of wrinkles or multiple layers of the wiping cover being inserted cannot be applied homogeneously over the entire surface of the wiping covering.
  • the height of the insertion shaft must of course correspond to the width of the mopping plate, which requires a comparatively high bucket.
  • Further wiper presses are from the CN 201 831 845 U , CN 205 923 937 U and the CN 2 218 521 Y known.
  • the object of the invention is to create a wiper press for wiping pads that are detachable on one side of a mopping plate and then hang down freely, which is easy to use and inexpensive to manufacture with as maintenance-free and wear-free operation as possible.
  • the wiping agent press according to the invention is particularly characterized in that the first pressing claw and the second pressing claw are arranged on the drive slide and the bucket has a claw guide which is designed in such a way that when the drive slide moves from top to bottom in the direction of a bucket bottom, the first pressing claw and the second pressing claw are automatically moved towards one another.
  • the new wiping agent press is now characterized in that, on the one hand, the pressing device is arranged inside the bucket, as was already the case with the generic pressing device.
  • the driving force that the user applies to the external adjusting means can now be transmitted to the pressing claws much more easily and with less effort.
  • a very advantageous feature of the pressing device is that two pressing claws are provided which can be moved towards one another in a pivoting movement. Both press claws can be moved, alternatively it is of course also possible to pivot only one of the two press claws.
  • the press claws enclose the press space between them. For this purpose, they are concave from the point of view of the respective opposite pressing claw and are liquid-permeable, so that pressed out liquid can flow through the pressing claw into the bucket.
  • the pressing claw is mounted pivotably about the claw pivot axis.
  • This claw pivot axis is located on a lower one Edge of the press claw. Starting from this lower edge, the pressing claw extends upwards in a curved manner and preferably has finger-like projections on its opposite longitudinal edge, which are used to close the pressing space and for easier threading of the wiping means. At the same time, these extensions prevent the wiping means from being pinched between the longitudinal edges of the pressing claws.
  • both press claws are movable, they can be pivotable about separate claw pivot axes, but they are preferably mounted in a common bearing so as to be pivotable about a single claw pivot axis.
  • the press claws are mounted in such a way that when the press space is open, there is an upwardly directed opening. This means that the claw pivot axis is at least at a greater angle to the vertical, but preferably rotated by 90 ° to the vertical and is arranged horizontally.
  • a particular advantage of the embodiment according to the invention is that the press claws are mounted and guided in such a way that their mounting and thus also the press claws move downwards together with the downward movement of the drive slide, which in turn is mechanically coupled to the external actuation means and at the same time forcibly closed by a guide during the downward movement and opened again during the upward movement.
  • This can be done, for example, in that the pressing claws have guide pins on their sides which protrude into adjacent guide channels in the form of guide slots.
  • the bucket of the wiping agent press is rectangular with two opposite narrow sides and two opposite broad sides.
  • the end of a handle can be hinged to each of the narrow sides.
  • the outer handle that is to say the outer actuating means, is provided on one of the narrow sides.
  • the pressing device is then adjacent in the vicinity of the inside of this narrow side in the interior of the bucket. It is particularly preferred here if the bucket can be emptied via the opposite narrow side.
  • a through-flow opening for the outflowing can in the handle Liquid can be provided so that the bucket can be poured out through the handle by tilting it about an axis at right angles to the narrow side.
  • the external adjusting means is mechanically coupled to the drive slide.
  • the external adjusting means is preferably designed as a foot pedal. This in turn is preferably arranged in the lower region of one of the narrow sides of the bucket wall. In this area, for example, the bucket is drawn inwards a little so that the foot pedal with an upwardly protruding connection area can be passed through the bucket wall in the area of the horizontal internal offset, a through-opening being provided for this purpose in the area of the internal offset.
  • This area of the foot pedal which is guided inward into the bucket, is then firmly connected to the drive slide, which at the same time also covers the area of the passage in a sealing manner over its entire range of motion.
  • the mounting of the pressing claws is preferably arranged on a boom of the drive slide, so that the mounting of the pressing claws move back and forth synchronously with the drive slide together with the pressing claws themselves. Via the external guidance of the press claws in the guide slots, the movement of the drive slide automatically causes the swivel movement of the press claws and thus the opening and closing of the press chamber without the need for any further external actuating force.
  • spring means are provided which hold the pressing claws in a defined, open initial position. These spring means can, for example, hold the drive slide in an upper position or also reset the external adjusting means into the appropriate position.
  • FIG 1 a wiping agent press according to the invention is shown.
  • the cleaning agent press is in the Figures 2 to 6 reproduced in further views and is described in detail below.
  • the wiping agent press consists of a bucket 1 and a pressing device arranged in the bucket 1 for a mopping covering used as a wiping agent, which for example hangs down on one side from a mopping plate of a mopping device and can be inserted into a pressing space delimited by a first pressing claw 3 and the second pressing claw 4.
  • this pressing space is open at the top and is more like a receiving shell.
  • the mopping pad is loosened on one side of the mopping plate and the moping plate is lowered into the mopping press over the handle of the mopping device.
  • the pressing device is activated via an external adjusting means 2, here in the form of a foot pedal, whereby the pressing claws 3, 4 move towards one another to form the pressing space.
  • the bucket 1 shown here has a substantially parallelepiped or cubic housing with a base and a wall with a rectangular cross-section, the wall being formed by two opposite narrow sides and two opposite broad sides connecting the narrow sides.
  • the edges and the corners of the wall, with the exception of the upper edge, are rounded by a larger radius than usual rounding of the edges.
  • Figure 1 shows as the only figure a handle 13 over which the bucket 1 can be carried. For the sake of clarity, the handle 13 has not been shown in the other figures.
  • the application of the present invention is not limited to the particular shape of the bucket 1 according to the illustrated embodiment.
  • the narrow side of the wall of the bucket 1 shown on the left has a pouring spout 15, which is formed by a wall area bent outwards and slightly downwards and offers a defined drainage option when the bucket 1 is pivoted about an axis parallel to the claw pivot axis D. So that the handle 13 does not get in the way of the flowing liquid, it is provided with a dispensing opening 14 so that the liquid can flow through the handle 13.
  • the design of the wall and of the handle 13 is an additional feature that can be used optionally, but is not the core of the present invention.
  • Figure 2 the cleaning agent press is off Figure 1 shown in a position in which the outer adjusting means 2 is lowered and the pressing device (not visible here) closed is. This function is explained below using the Figures 3 to 6 explained in more detail.
  • the pressing device consists of the first pressing claw 3 and the second pressing claw 4. Both pressing claws 3, 4 move together with a drive carriage 9 which is mechanically connected to the external adjusting means 2, that is to say to the foot pedal.
  • the lower area of the front, right narrow side of the wall of the bucket 1 is drawn inward by a few centimeters.
  • the stop can also be formed by guide pins 12 described below. Below this projection, a passage is provided in the wall, through which the outer adjusting means 2 passes into the interior of the bucket 1 for connection to the drive slide 9.
  • the drive carriage 9 is arranged displaceably in the bucket. It is not guided here on the narrow side, but is stored in the bucket 1 indirectly via guide plates 5, the function of which will be described in detail below. A boom 11 jumps inward from the drive slide 9.
  • this boom 11 has a liquid-permeable, honeycomb-like structure.
  • the honeycomb-like structure facilitates the movement of the boom 11 in the bucket 1 filled with liquid, since it then has to displace less liquid.
  • the boom first jumps inward from the front narrow side of the wall of the bucket 1 along the inside of the broad sides.
  • the boom 11 again has upwardly directed sections on, which are provided with roller bearings on their outer sides. These roller bearings, in turn, are slidably mounted in a claw guide 7 which is provided in the guide plates 5, which will be explained in more detail below in connection with Figure 4 will be described later.
  • the first pressing claw 3 and the second pressing claw 4 are mounted on the boom 11 so as to be pivotable about a common claw pivot axis D. They are formed by liquid-permeable plates, which are concavely curved from the point of view of the opposite pressing claw 3 or 4 and which have elongate-hole-shaped recesses for the discharge or passage of the squeezed out water.
  • the pressing claws 3, 4 are pivotably mounted with their lower longitudinal edge on a common axis, this axis in turn being mounted at the upper end of the vertical sections of the boom 11. This means that the boom 11 carries the first pressing claw 3 and the second pressing claw 4 as well as their mounting, so that when the external adjusting means 2 is actuated, the entire pressing device moves along with the drive carriage 9, which in turn carries the boom 11.
  • the guide plates 5 are provided on both sides of the press claws 3, 4 and have a guide slot 8 for each end of the press claws 3, 4.
  • the front guide plate 5 can be seen in front of the pressing claws 3, 4.
  • the guide plate 5 has an elongated hole in which the roller bearing of the arm 11 is guided displaceably against the force of a return spring 6.
  • the guide slots 8 for each of the two pressing claws 3, 4 are arranged in the form of downwardly sloping columns.
  • the guide slots 8 are angled twice here, so that the gradient of the guide slots 8 increases with increasing lowering of the boom 11.
  • Guide pins 12 engage in the guide slots 8 and project forward and backward from the end faces of the pressing claws 3, 4. If the boom 11 and thus the pressing claws 3, 4 are also lowered by lowering the assembly of the drive slide 9 with the external adjusting means 2, the pressing claws 3, 4 are pivoted towards each other by the guide pins 12, the non-rectilinear course of the guide slots 8, the speed of the pivoting movement decreases with increasing lowering, while an increasingly greater moment of force can be applied to the pressing claws 3, 4. This has the particular advantage that the maximum force is available when the last possible residual moisture is to be expressed from the wiping covering.
  • FIG Figures 5 and 6 The position of the pressing device in which the mop cover (not shown in the figures) is pressed is shown in FIG Figures 5 and 6 shown. Like in particular from Figure 5 As can be seen, when the boom 11 is lowered, the pressing claws 3, 4 are pivoted towards each other, the pressing claws 3, 4 having finger-like extensions protruding upward, which interlock to hold the wiper covering in the lower travel range and in the lower position.
  • the guide plates 5 are in turn held in plate bearings 10 on the inside of the broad sides of the wall of the bucket 1.
  • These plate supports 10 are essentially hollow profiles running along the wall, which hold T-shaped, corresponding rails on the side of the guide plates 5 facing the wall of the bucket 1 in the manner of a tongue and groove connection.
  • This construction has the particular advantage that any bending moments to be absorbed cannot be absorbed by the bucket wall, but by the guide plates 5, the claw guide 7 and the rails of the plate bearing 10.
  • the boom 11 is via the, for example, in Figure 6 Storage shown guided by roller bearings in the claw guide 7 to be movable back and forth.
  • a great advantage of the invention is that the guiding of the end face of the pressing claws 3, 4, which is brought about by the interaction of the guide pins 12 with the guide slots 8, when the pressing device is lowered, an automatic closing movement of the pressing device that is optimized in terms of force is realized.
  • the wiping covering is pressed out in a lower area of the bucket 1, whereby the path that the pressing device can be moved downward can be longer or shorter depending on the desired application. So it is possible, for example, that up to a middle range of the possible travel path the pressing device is closed and is then moved further downwards in the closed position with guide links extending further downwards without any further closing movement.
  • the bucket 1 and the pressing claws 3, 4, like the drive slide 9 and the external adjusting means 2, are preferably made of plastic.
  • the guide plate 5 can also be made of a plastic, the guide pins 12 and the roller bearings of the drive carriage 9 can also be made of metal.
  • the guide links 8 can also be integrated into the inside of the wall of the bucket 1, the same applies to the guidance of the drive slide 9.
  • the outer adjusting means 2 can also have a U-shape the upper bucket wall, so that the opening in the bucket wall and the need to seal it can be dispensed with.
  • the drive carriage 9 and the pressing device would be pressed down by the handle or the mopping device by pressing the mopping surface into the initially open and then closing pressing device, which also leads to a squeezing out of the slotted guide formed by the guide pin 12 and the guide link 8 Wiper lining leads.
