The present invention relates to a household appliance (1) comprising a body (2), a chamber (3) provided on the body (2), in which operation processes are performed, a door (4) inhibiting contact of the chamber (3) with the outer environment, a metal decorative panel (5) mounted on the door (4), a handle (6) provided on the decorative panel (5), enabling the users to open and close the door (4), and a plurality of control cards (7) enabling WiFi broadcasting.

Description

    A CARD HOLDER SUITABLE FOR USE IN HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES
  • The present invention relates to a card holder suitable for use in household appliances, particularly in dishwashers.
  • The electronic cards used in household appliances, comprise software products enabling controlling the household appliances. Operating steps and parameters are managed by means of control cards. Internet-enabled household appliances can be managed via the Internet by the users. In order to connect to the Internet, household appliances should comprise an electronic card capable of WiFi broadcasting. WiFi broadcasting from an electronic card enables a household appliance to connect to the cloud and is controlled by a user by means of a control device on the same network. Quality of WiFi broadcasting from a household appliance is of utmost importance for such control devices to be able to control the household appliance. WiFi broadcasts from household appliances are usually not very strong since a very wide coverage is not needed and a strong WiFi signal may adversely affect user health. However, interruption of a WiFi broadcast is not desired as it would cause user discontent. A low strength and high quality WiFi broadcast is therefore needed. In household appliances which utilize water in operation such as dishwashers, it is safety wise preferred to dispose electronic cards in the vicinity of the base of the appliance. However, when a WiFi broadcasting electronic card is positioned proximate to the base, WiFi broadcasting fails due to other components. Such electronic cards are therefore placed in a panel. When a metal decorative panel is mounted on the WiFi broadcast-enabled electronic card which is placed in the panel, the metal material interrupts the WiFi broadcast.
  • State of the art international patent application no. WO2016119844 discloses a household appliance comprising a card holder.
  • The aim of the present invention is to realize a household appliance in which an electronic card is provided, enabling ease of use.
  • The household appliance realized to achieve the aim of the present invention and disclosed in the first claim and the dependent claims comprises a body and a chamber provided on the body, in which operation processes are performed. A door is provided on the body, inhibiting contact of the chamber with the outer environment. A decorative panel made of metal is mounted on the door. A handle is provided on the decorative panel, enabling the user to open and close the door, and a control card is provided on the door, enabling the household appliance to connect to the Internet. The control card is interposed between the door and the decorative panel.
  • The household appliance of the invention comprises a grouping member provided behind the decorative panel. Control cards are mounted on the grouping member. The grouping member extends outwards from the decorative panel so that the WiFi broadcast from the control card is not interrupted by the decorative panel. By this, quality perception is improved by using a metal decorative panel while avoiding a reduction of the WiFi broadcast quality. A display cover is provided on the grouping member, mounted on the control card and extending outwards from the decorative panel. A transparent screen is provided on the display cover. This enables the WiFi broadcast to pass through the transparent screen.
  • In an embodiment of the invention, the grouping member comprises a plurality of openings. The openings enable fastening the handle on the decorative panel and the grouping member behind the decorative panel.
  • In an embodiment of the invention, the grouping member comprises a cable slot enabling placement of the cable enabling the control cards to communicate. A plurality of detents are provided on the cable slot. This enables preventing the cable from escaping the cable slot.
  • A household appliance realized to achieve the aims of the present invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein:

  • The household appliance (1) comprises a body (2), a chamber (3) provided on the body (2), in which operation processes are performed, a door (4) inhibiting contact of the chamber (3) with the outer environment, a metal decorative panel (5) mounted on the door (4), a handle (6) provided on the decorative panel (5), enabling the users to open and close the door (4), and a plurality of control cards (7) enabling WiFi broadcasting. The decorative panel (5) being metal improves quality perception, making the household appliance (1) more favorable. A user can open and close the door (4) by means of the handle (6). The control cards enable the household appliance (1) to operate and to connect to local area network by WiFi broadcasting.
  • The household appliance (1) of the invention comprises a grouping member (8) provided behind the decorative panel (5), on which control cards (7) are mounted, having a display cover (9) enabling WiFi broadcasting therethrough by extending outwards from the decorative panel (5) and a transparent screen (10) provided on the display cover (9), from behind which WiFi broadcasting is enabled. The grouping member (8) extends outwards from the decorative panel (5) for the metal decorative panel (5) not to interrupt WiFi broadcasting. This facilitates placement of the control cards without compromising WiFi broadcast quality. Ease of use and assembly is provided by means of the grouping member (8). The display cover (9) enables the control card (7) to remain fixed on the grouping member (8). WiFi broadcasting can be conveniently performed by means of the transparent screen (10) provided on the display cover (9).
  • In an embodiment of the invention, the grouping member (8) comprises a plurality of openings (11) enabling mounting the fastening members which enable the handle (6) and the grouping member (8) to be fastened on the decorative panel (5). Both the handle (6) and the grouping member (8) are fastened on the decorative panel (5) by means of the openings (11) provided on the grouping member (8). Ease of assembly is thus provided.
  • In an embodiment of the invention, the grouping member (8) comprises a cable slot (12) enabling placement of the cable which enable the control cards mounted thereon to communicate, and a plurality of detents (13) enabling the cable to be fastened on the cable slot (12). Communication by cable is facilitated by means of the control cards being proximate to each other. The cable provided in between the control cards, is placed on the cable slot (12). The cable is thus prevented from being damaged. The cable is fastened on the cable slot (12) by means of the detents (13).
  • In an embodiment of the invention, the household appliance (1) is a dishwasher.
  • In an embodiment of the invention, the household appliance (1) is a washing machine.
  • In an embodiment of the invention, the household appliance (1) is a cooker.
  • The present invention enables realizing a household appliance (1) comprising a cable holder. Control card (7) placement is facilitated in household appliances with metal decorative panels (5) by means of the cable holder. Ease of assembly is thus provided without compromising WiFi broadcast quality. The display cover (9) provided on the cable holder extends outwards from the decorative panel (5). A space for WiFi broadcast is thus created.

Claims (6)

  1. A household appliance (1) comprising a body (2), a chamber (3) provided on the body (2), in which operation processes are performed, a door (4) inhibiting contact of the chamber (3) with the outer environment, a metal decorative panel (5) mounted on the door (4), a handle (6) provided on the decorative panel (5), enabling the users to open and close the door (4), and a plurality of control cards (7) enabling WiFi broadcasting, characterized by a grouping member (8) provided behind the decorative panel (5), on which control cards (7) are mounted, having a display cover (9) enabling WiFi broadcasting therethrough by extending outwards from the decorative panel (5) and a transparent screen (10) provided on the display cover (9), from behind which WiFi broadcasting is enabled.
  2. A household appliance (1) according to claim 1, characterized by a plurality of openings (11) provided on the grouping member (8), enabling mounting the fastening members which enable the handle (6) and the grouping member (8) to be fastened on the decorative panel (5).
  3. A household appliance (1) according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterized by the grouping member (8) comprising a cable slot (12) enabling placement of the cable which enable the control cards mounted thereon to communicate, and a plurality of detents (13) enabling the cable to be fastened on the cable slot (12).
  4. A household appliance (1) according to any one of the preceding claims which is a dishwasher.
  5. A household appliance (1) according to any one of the preceding claims which is a washing machine.
  6. A household appliance (1) according to any one of the preceding claims which is a cooker.
