Abstract

Description

The invention relates to the technical field of false ceilings and false stretched walls.

False ceilings and false stretched walls have been known for a long time. We can refer, for example, to the documents CA835014 (Barracudaverken, 1970 ), FR2078579 (Blick, 1971 ).

False ceilings and false stretched walls are formed by mounting at least one canvas on a frame.

The frame is formed by assembling sections, called smooth, made of a polymer material such as polyvinyl chloride, or of a metal alloy, typically of an aluminum alloy, or of a composite material, for example a polymer material reinforced with fibers.

Depending on their constituent material, the stringers are conventionally extruded or pultruded.

The frame can be fixed directly to the walls of a room, for example by screwing.

The canvas can then have a large surface area, and be formed by assembling strips.

There are also known false walls and false ceilings comprising slabs or boxes, comprising at least one canvas mounted on a frame of rails.

When the false ceiling or false wall is in the form of slabs, the frame can be contained or bagged in an envelope formed by the canvas.

We also know slabs formed of two canvases attached to a frame, see for example FR1319171 (Isora, 1963 ), US3460299 (Wilson ).

The vast majority of false stretch ceilings are fitted with their canvas stretched horizontally in its entirety.

In some embodiments, the canvas being stretched over a horizontal heddle frame fixed to the walls of a room, deformations of the stretched sheet are produced, as described in the documents. FR1515260 (Saulnier, 1968 ) or EP281468 (Scherrer, 1988 ).

The fabrics for false ceilings or false stretched walls are most often made of flexible polymer, in particular polyvinyl chloride. By deformable, is meant here the possibility of stretching these fabrics, by a manual effort.

There are also known stretch false ceilings and false stretched walls comprising a canvas that is not very deformable, in particular made of fabric, or of fabric coated, for example by calendering.

The means for mounting canvas edges on a heddle frame are very varied.

In a first family of means for mounting the fabric edges on the heddle frame, the periphery of the fabric comprises a strip of added material, having a hook-shaped section.

In this first family and according to a first type of embodiment, the stringer comprises a U-shaped groove and one of the two walls of the U-shaped groove of the stringer has a lip facing the bottom of the groove, the canvas border hook shape anchoring positively on this lip. One can refer, for example, to the document FR1303930 (Barracudaverken, 1962 ).

In this first family and according to a second type of embodiment, the stringer comprises a U-shaped groove and one of the two walls of the groove of the rail comprises a shoulder, the part of which located towards the bottom of the groove forms a support for the edge of the canvas in the form of a hook. One can refer, for example, to the documents FR 1475446 (Licentia, 1967 ), FR2002261 (Barracudaverken, 1969 ), EP 338925 (Scherrer, 1989 ), FR2843141 (Mphi, 2004 ).

In this first family and according to a third type of embodiment, the stringer comprises a U-shaped groove and each of the two walls of the stringer groove comprises a shoulder and the border of the fabric is in the form of a double hook. We can refer for example to the documents FR2486127 (Allemann, 1982 ), FR2627207 (Bidini, 1989 ).

In this first family and according to a fourth type of embodiment, the stringer comprises a rigid lip on which the edge of the canvas is hooked. We can refer for example to the document FR2786515 (Newmat, 2000 ).

In a second family of means for mounting the canvas edges on the heddle frame, the canvas is pinched.

In this second family and according to a first type of embodiment, the canvas is pinched by the rail against a wall. One can refer, for example, to the documents FR2715682 (Hosteing, 1995 ), FR 2734296 (Ringaud, 1996 ).

In this second family and according to a second type of embodiment, the beam is provided with means forming a clamping and tensioning clamp. One can refer, for example, to the documents FR 2699211 (Swal, 1994 ), FR 2537112 (Bernardy, 1984 ).

In a third family of means for mounting the fabric edges in the frame of heddles, the fabric edge is provided with a ring, generally of round section, coming to be housed with friction in a groove of the heddle. We can refer for example to the document FR1588150 (Pecault, 1970 ).

Examples of tension canvas mounting profiles can be found in the documents WO2018 / 007125 , WO2019 / 115918 , DE102015113787 (Sefar ), FR 2175855 (Tombu ).

In the frames of stretch ceilings of the prior art, the stringers are conventionally designed according to the means of assembly of the fabric edge.

This results in a very wide variety of rails, all specifically dedicated to a method of mounting the canvas edge.

This state of affairs has many drawbacks.

The rapid supply of a wide variety of profiles leads to complications in terms of inventory management or logistics.

These complications are further increased by the fact that the choice of a false stretch ceiling or a false stretch wall also means a choice of canvas.

However, there is a wide variety of fabrics, in terms of color and finish (especially marbled, satin, mat).

Manufacturers must prepare the canvases by adding the border necessary for their assembly to the chosen profile, for example border in the form of a single hook, double hook, or rush. An error in the installation of the fabric border can make the fabric unusable with the chosen profile.

The invention falls within this context.

There is proposed, according to a first aspect, a profiled element of a false wall frame with stretched fabric, the profiled element having a cross section generally in the shape of a right triangle, comprising a base, a transverse upper face, an external face. , an internal face forming the hypotenuse of the triangular section, the base comprising a first housing for receiving an edge of the fabric, the profiled element comprising a second housing for receiving an edge of the fabric, opening onto the outer face, the outer face comprising a main plane substantially perpendicular to the transverse upper face, a transverse projection extending to the opening of the first housing, beyond the main plane of the external face.

By these arrangements, it is thus possible to have two methods of mounting the fabric edge on the profile, for example mounting by pressing a hook, mounting by force of a ring, using one and the same profile.

The transverse projection also allows a support without risk of deterioration of the fabric, when it passes around the base of the profile during sn assembly in the second housing.

The term “base” denotes in particular the part of the profile connecting the external face and the internal face.

Advantageously, the profiled element comprises a third housing for receiving an edge of the fabric, opening onto the external face, the second and the third housing extending in the thickness of the profiled element.

These arrangements allow a greater variety of canvas installation, using a single profile.

Advantageously, in the profiled element, the second housing extends transversely, close to the transverse upper face.

Advantageously, the third housing extends transversely, substantially at mid-height of the profiled element.

Advantageously, the profiled element comprises a fourth housing for receiving an edge of the fabric, opening onto the internal face.

Advantageously, the profiled element comprises a fifth housing for receiving an edge of the fabric, opening onto the internal face.

These arrangements allow a greater variety of canvas installation, using a single profile.

In some implementations, the fourth housing extends vertically, near the top face.

In some implementations, the fifth housing extends transversely.

In some implementations, the opening of the fifth housing leads to the opening of the fourth housing.

Advantageously, the profiled element comprises a groove for receiving a lighting means.

In some implementations, the receiving groove of a lighting means has its opening on the external face of the profiled element.

Advantageously, the receiving groove of a lighting means houses an LED or an LED strip.

Advantageously, means for mounting a finishing cover are arranged on the external face of the profile.

In some implementations, the means for mounting the finishing cover are of the snap-on type, male or female.

Advantageously, at least one of the housings comprises at least one wall receiving an edge of fabric in the form of a hook.

There is proposed, according to a second aspect, an assembly comprising a profiled element as presented above, and at least one canvas provided with a hook-shaped edge, the hook-shaped edge coming to rest, or coming from s '' hang on the internal wall of the housing.

Advantageously, at least one of the housings comprises two retaining walls receiving an edge of fabric in the form of a rod.

There is proposed, according to a third aspect, an assembly comprising a profiled element as presented above, and at least one fabric provided with an edge carrying a ring of round, square, rectangular, oval or polygonal section.

There is proposed, according to a fourth aspect, a profiled element, as presented above, the profiled element being provided with a member for gripping the edge of the fabric, this gripping element being placed in one of the housings of the fabric edge. the profiled element.

Advantageously, the clamping element is placed in one of the housings, in a removable manner.

There is proposed, according to a fifth aspect, an assembly comprising a profiled element as presented above, and a finishing cover, the finishing cover having a substantially vertical section facing the external face of the profiled element, and an upper bearing section on the transverse upper face of the profiled element.

It is proposed, according to another aspect, a false wall comprising a profiled element as presented above, or an assembly as presented above, and at least one canvas.

The false wall can be a false wall, a false ceiling, a box or a slab.

To facilitate reading, one defines in these figures an orthogonal reference mark XYZ comprising three perpendicular axes two by two, namely: an X axis, defining a horizontal direction, a Y axis, defining a vertical direction, which together with the X axis defines a vertical XY plane, and a Z axis, perpendicular to the horizontal XY plane.

In the remainder of this description, the terms “horizontal”, “vertical”, “top”, “bottom” are used with reference to this reference mark XYZ, without this implying any limitation in the orientation that the profile can take during of its use.

Thus, for example, the profile can be used for the production of false ceilings, and carry one or more fabrics extending substantially horizontally, as shown in the figures.

The profile can be used for making false walls, and carry one or more canvases extending substantially vertically.

The profile can also be used for the production of false walls, and carry one or more fabrics extending in a plane forming any angle with the vertical.

In the remainder of this description, only a portion of the edge of each canvas is shown mounted on a profile.

It is understood that the profile can be used for the production of a frame, this frame being fixed to a civil engineering structure (such as a wall, a ceiling, a partition). The frame can be formed by assembling a section as shown in the figures.

It is understood that the profile can be used for producing a slab or box frame, the slab or box being for example mounted suspended from a ceiling, or even fixed to a civil engineering wall (such as a wall, or partition).

In the figures, the profile is shown in section.

It is understood that the section can be produced in the form of a slender rectilinear section extending in the Z direction perpendicular to the plane of the figures. The profile thus allows the production of square or polygonal slabs, or can be fixed to the walls of a room.

In other implementations, the profile is curved, allowing the production of contour slabs comprising at least one curved section, for example a circular or oval contour, these slabs being for example suspended.

The profile or profiled element 1 can be made of a polymer material, in particular of rigid polyvinyl chloride. The term “rigid” is used here to denote the fact that the section cannot be stretched or plastically deformed by manual force.

In other implementations, the profile 1 is made of a composite material, in particular with a polymer matrix reinforced with fibers.

In a particular implementation, the profile 1 is made of a polymer material reinforced with glass fiber or vegetable fiber such as flax fiber. This arrangement makes it possible to achieve high mechanical resistance per linear meter of profile.

The profile can be made of a metallic material, in particular an aluminum alloy.

Advantageously, the profile 1 carries a coating, for example obtained by lacquering, powder coating, or painting.

This coating provides protection against corrosion, facilitates cleaning.

This coating advantageously provides a visual effect. In some implementations, the coating is reflective, in particular on the internal face of the profile. In other implementations, the coating behaves like a black body and absorbs incident light. The profile 1 is advantageously obtained from extrusion or pultrusion.

In the embodiments appearing in the figures, the profile 1 is in the form of a hollow body, the profile 1 comprising internal spaces 2-8 delimited by reinforcing walls or cores, the profile comprising housings, recesses , grooves, and grooves opening on each of the three faces of the profile. The internal walls or cores and the walls delimiting the housings, recesses and grooves have a substantially constant thickness.

These arrangements are advantageous in terms of mechanical strength per linear meter of profile. These arrangements also facilitate the cutting of the profile during installation on site. These arrangements also allow the passage of wire elements, where appropriate, for example for low current.

In other embodiments, not shown, the profile has solid sections. This arrangement can be advantageous when the material used for the manufacture of the profile has good properties in terms of carbon balance or life cycle analysis, but does not have good mechanical properties.

In the embodiments shown, the webs or fabrics are shown in the form of solid strips of low thickness, substantially constant.

It is understood that each fabric or sheet may or may not be solid, for example provided with perforations or microperforations. The microperforations can allow sound attenuation, as described in the document WO01 / 71116 (Newmat ). As a variant, the web or fabric may be provided with opening perforations visible to the naked eye.

In the embodiments shown, the profile 1 has a generally triangular section, in a right triangle.

The profile 1 has a horizontal upper face 10, a vertical outer face 11 extending along a vertical main plane P, an oblique inner face 12, and a base 13. By base is meant here in particular the part of the profile 1 connecting the outer face and inner face.

The terms “internal” and “external” are used here with reference to the use of the profile 1 for mounting at least one edge of the fabric or sheet. The internal face 12 of the profile 1 is oriented towards the center of the fabric or sheet. The outer face 11 of the profile 1 is oriented opposite the inner face 12.

The internal face 12 forms the hypotenuse of the right-angled section of the profile 1.

The base 13 of the profile 1 is provided with an opening 14 of a first housing 15 for the edge of a fabric or sheet.

The profile 1 comprises a second housing 16, extending close to the upper face 10.

The second housing 16 extends transversely in the thickness of the profile 1, and has its opening 17 turned on the external face 11 of the profile 1.

The profile 1 comprises a third housing 18, opening on the external face.

The section 1 comprises a fourth housing 19, opening on the internal face 12, and extending substantially vertically, near the upper wall 10.

The section 1 comprises a fifth housing 20, opening on the internal face 12, and extending substantially transversely.

In the embodiment shown, the opening 21 of the fourth housing 19 opens out to the opening 22 of the fifth housing 20.

Each of the housings 15, 16, 18, 19, 20 is intended to receive an edge of the fabric.

Each of the housings 15, 16, 18, 19, 20 may be in the form of a U-shaped groove comprising two substantially parallel walls, and a bottom wall, the groove comprising, between its opening and the bottom wall, a receiving strip 30 for a fabric edge.

When the canvas edge has a hook-shaped element 31, as shown in figure 1 for the first housing 15, this hook 31 bears on the receiving strip 30, which forms a shoulder or bearing surface, and the tension of the fabric ensures a second bearing of the hook 31 against the vertical wall 32 of the groove.

As a variant, not shown, the receiving strip is an inclined lip on which the edge of the canvas in the form of a hook hangs.

As a variant, not shown, the groove comprises two receiving strips and the fabric edge is in the form of a double hook, each of the hooks resting on one of the receiving strips.

As a variant, not shown, the groove comprises two inclined lips and the fabric edge has the shape of a double hook, each of the hooks hooking onto one of the lips.

Each of the housings 15, 16, 18, 19, 20 may be in the form of a groove in which an edge of the fabric is pinched.

This arrangement is advantageous, the canvas edge not comprising any added element such as a hook or harpoon section band.

The clamping is advantageously obtained by an attached means, removably, in a housing of the profile. This provision appears in figure 7 , the clamping means being placed in the third housing 18.

Each of the housings 15, 16, 18, 19, 20 may be in the form of a groove in which an edge of the fabric carrying a ring is forced into it.

This provision appears in figures 5 , 6 , 9 and 10 . The fabric edge is for example provided with a silicone ring, for example sewn onto the fabric.

The ring has a section complementary to that of the housing.

In the embodiment shown, the ring has a rectangular cross section.

The profile advantageously comprises a receiving groove 40 for a lighting means.

This groove 40 opens, in the embodiment shown, on the external face 11 of the profile 1.

In one implementation, the lighting means is formed of diodes, advantageously arranged in a strip.

Profile 1 offers great mounting versatility for canvases.

In the implementation of the figure 1 , two fabrics 51, 52 are placed in parallel. The lower canvas 51 is placed, by its hook-shaped edge 31, in the first housing 15. The upper canvas 52 is placed, by its hook-shaped edge 31, in the fifth housing 20, open on the inside. 12 of profile 1.

The support strip 30 is advantageously placed in each housing 15, 20 at a significant distance from the opening 14, 22 of the housing. This arrangement makes it possible to hide the hook-shaped edge 31 of the fabric 51, 52 from view.

The introduction and removal of the hook-shaped edge 31 of the canvas 51, 52 can be carried out, in a manner known per se, by a tool such as a spatula.

In the implementation of the figure 2 , the assembly of the figure 1 is completed by the installation of a finishing cover 60.

The finishing cover 60 comprises a first section 61, substantially vertical, facing the outer face 11 of the profile 1.

The finishing cover 60 comprises a second upper section 62, bearing against the upper face 10 of the profile 1.

In the embodiment of the figure 2 , the finishing cover 60 is of L-shaped section, the second section 62 extending substantially perpendicular to the first section 61.

The mounting of the finishing cover 60 is advantageously removable.

In the embodiment shown in figure 2 , the cover 60 is snapped in and carries male means 63 which are housed in female grooves 64 open on the external face 11 of the profile 1.

In other implementations, the finishing cover carries female means, and complementary male means are arranged on the external face of the profile.

In other implementations, the finishing cover comprises male means and female means, and the section carries, on its outer face, additional snap-fastening means.

In other implementations, the finishing cover comprises snap-fastening means in the upper part, the upper face of the profile carrying additional snap-fastening means.

As a variant or in combination, the finishing cover comprises means for mounting by screwing.

In the embodiment of the figure 3 , the assembly of the figure 1 is completed by the installation of a finishing cover, having a different shape from the cover shown in figure 2 .

The finishing cover 60 comprises a first section 61, analogous to that of the finishing cover of the figure 2 . The finishing cover 60 comprises an upper section 65, in the form of an L, the free edge 66 of which bears against the upper wall 10 of the profile 1.

In the embodiments of figures 2 and 3 , the transverse projection 70 present at the opening 14 of the first housing 15 serves as a support for the finishing cover 60.

This arrangement is advantageous, the projection 70 serving as a guide during the installation of the finishing cover 60. In addition, the cover 60 closes the housings 17, 18, 40, of the profile 1, the openings of which face the external face. 11 of the profile 1. The result is an assembly having a smooth, continuous, solid face, preventing the entry of dust or dirt.

The finishing cover 60 can have the same colors and finish as the profile 1.

As a variant, the profile 1 may have a surface appearance, on the external face 11, different from the external appearance of the finishing cover 60, which is advantageously more careful, in terms of surface condition in particular.

The finishing cover 60 can be personalized, and bear colors, and / or patterns on demand, for example from painting, printing, molding.

In the embodiment shown in figure 4 , a single canvas 51 is mounted on the profile 1.

The transverse projection 70 disposed at the opening 14 of the first housing 15 advantageously comprises a curved edge 71, against which the canvas 51 is pressed while passing from its horizontal arrangement, in the lower part of the profile 1, to its substantially vertical arrangement, in view of the external face 11 of the profile 1.

In the implementation shown, the edge of the fabric is provided with a hook-shaped strip 31 bearing against a strip 30 disposed at the opening of the second housing 16.

By this arrangement, the housings 18, 40 opening on the external face 11 of the section 1 are hidden from view by the canvas 51.

When the canvas 51 is full and in particular devoid of perforations in its edge portion, the canvas 51 provides protection against the entry of dust or dirt into the housings 18, 40 opening on the outer face of the profile 1.

In the embodiment shown in figure 5 , a finishing cover 60 similar to that described with reference to figure 2 is put in place. A first upper fabric 52 is provided with a ring 54 which is force-fitted into the fourth housing 19. A second, lower fabric 51 is provided with a ring 55 which is force-fitted into the first housing 15.

In the embodiment shown, the rods 54 55 are of rectangular section. These rods 54, 55 are for example made of silicone and are each attached to the edge of the fabric 51, 53, for example by stitching.

In other implementations, not shown, at least one of the rods has a round, oval, square or polygonal section, the housing in which the rod is force-fitted being of complementary shape.

In the embodiment shown in figure 5 , the ring 54 of the upper fabric 52 is substantially identical to the ring 55 of the lower fabric 51.

In other implementations, these two rods are shaped and / or made of different materials.

In the embodiment shown in figure 5 , the opening 21 of the fourth housing 19 is smaller than that of the first housing 15.

It follows that if the ring 54 of the upper canvas 52 is kept stuck by force in the fourth housing 19, the same does not apply to the identical ring 55 of the lower canvas 51.

To maintain the lower canvas 51 in the first housing 15, a friction profile 80 is placed.

This profile 80 has a J section, in the implementation shown.

This friction profile 80 is placed, via its first end part 81, in a groove 82 formed in the lower part of the internal wall 12 of the profile 1.

This friction profile 80 is placed, via its second end part 83, in the first housing 15 and bears against the vertical side wall 32 of the housing 15 and against the support strip 30.

In the embodiment shown in figure 6 , the elements of the assembly of the figure 5 are included, the finishing cover 60 described in reference to figure 2 being replaced by the finishing cover 60 described with reference to figure 3 .

In the embodiment shown in figure 7 , a lighting means 90 such as an LED is placed in the groove 40, and an element forming a closure cover 91 closes the groove.

The element forming a closure cover 91 is advantageously transparent, semi-transparent or translucent, and is easily removable, for example by being snapped onto the opening of the groove 40.

In an advantageous implementation, the closure cover 91 is made of a flexible or semi-flexible polymer material, and ensures diffusion of the light coming for example from an LED strip placed in the groove 40.

In the embodiment of the figure 7 , a single canvas 51 is mounted in the lower part of the profile 1.

The canvas edge does not have any hook or rod-shaped add-ons.

The fabric edge is kept clamped in a profiled element 100, arranged in the third groove 18.

The transverse projection 70 disposed at the opening 14 of the first housing 15 advantageously comprises a curved edge, against which the canvas 51 comes to be pressed while passing from its horizontal arrangement, in the lower part of the profile 1, to its substantially vertical arrangement, opposite of the lower part of the external face 11 of the profile 1.

In the embodiment shown in figure 8 , a single canvas 51 is mounted on the profile 1.

The transverse projection 70 disposed at the opening 14 of the first housing 15 advantageously comprises a curved edge, against which the canvas 51 comes to be pressed while passing from its horizontal arrangement, in the lower part of the profile 1, to its substantially vertical arrangement, opposite of the external face 11 of the profile 1.

By this arrangement, the housings 16, 18, 40 opening on the outer face 11 of the section 1 are hidden from view by the canvas 51.

When the canvas 51 is full and in particular devoid of perforations in its edge portion, the canvas 51 provides protection against the entry of dust or dirt into the housings opening on the outer face of the profile.

In the embodiment of the figure 9 , a single lower canvas 51 is mounted on the profile 1, its edge being provided with a ring 55 which is placed in the first housing 15, in a manner analogous to what has been described with reference to figure 6 .

A finishing cover 60 similar to that described with reference to figures 2 and 5 is put in place.

It should be noted that this configuration ensures perfect continuity from the free edge 67 of the finishing cover 60 to the stretched canvas 51, and a neat aesthetic without any visible grooves or grooves.

In the embodiment of the figure 10 , a single lower canvas 51 is mounted on the profile 1, its edge being provided with a ring 55 which is placed in the first housing 15, in a manner analogous to what has been described with reference to figure 6 or at the figure 9 .
