The terms used in the specification of the disclosure are merely to describe the specific embodiments, rather than to limit the disclosure.
  • The invention provides a method for controlling a drum type washing machine. As shown in FIG. 1, the method includes the following operations.
  • At S101, it is determined that the drum type washing machine enters a washing stage, and the drum type washing machine is controlled, based on a first control parameter, for washing.
  • Herein, the washing stage of the drum type washing machine includes at least one of a preliminary washing stage, a primary washing stage or a rinsing stage. The first control parameter is configured to control formation of a water film having a set thickness between an inner wall surface of an inner drum of the drum type washing machine and laundry in at least one of the preliminary washing stage, the primary washing stage or the rinsing stage, thereby reducing the wear on the laundry. The preliminary washing stage refers to a stage in which the laundry and water are mixed for preliminary washing after the drum type washing machine reaches a set water level.
  • In an embodiment, the first control parameter includes a control parameter corresponding to the preliminary washing stage, a control parameter corresponding to the primary washing stage and a control parameter corresponding to the rinsing stage, and is configured to control the drum type washing machine to form the water film having the set thickness between the inner wall surface of the inner drum and the laundry in the corresponding stage.
  • The thickness of the water film is relevant to a water level in the drum type washing machine and a rotational speed of the inner drum. Upon this, in an embodiment, the first control parameter includes an inner-drum water level and an inner-drum rotational speed; and the operation that the drum type washing machine is controlled, based on the first control parameter, for washing includes the following operation.
  • It is determined that a water level in the drum type washing machine is the inner-drum water level, and the inner drum of the drum type washing machine is controlled to operate at the inner-drum rotational speed.
  • In an embodiment, the first control parameter further includes an inner-drum action beat, the inner-drum action beat including a rotation duration and a rotation stopping duration of the inner drum within one rotation period; and the operation that the inner drum of the drum type washing machine is controlled to operate at the inner-drum rotational speed may include the following operation: the inner drum is controlled to operate at the inner-drum rotational speed according to the inner-drum action beat.
  • In order to keep the water film stable, the drum type washing machine further includes a water spraying mechanism that is fixedly disposed relative to an outer drum of the drum type washing machine, the water spraying mechanism is configured to spray water to the inner wall surface of the inner drum, and the first control parameter further includes a water spraying action beat, the water spraying action beat including a water spraying duration and a water spray stopping duration of the water spraying mechanism within one water spray period; and the operation that the drum type washing machine is controlled, based on the first control parameter, for washing further includes the following operation: the water spraying mechanism is controlled to operate according to the water spraying action beat.
  • As the water films corresponding to different types of laundry have different thicknesses, in order to better protect the laundry, in an embodiment, the method may further include that: the first control parameter is determined based on a type of the laundry, such that the thickness of the water film corresponds to the type of the laundry.
  • During the preliminary washing stage of the drum type washing machine, before determining that the drum type washing machine enters the primary washing stage, a control apparatus of the drum type washing machine controls the drum type washing machine to perform water supplementary washing, such that the water level in the inner drum of the drum type washing machine meets a set water level.
  • In an actual application, the control apparatus of the drum type washing machine receives a mode or a water level set value input by a user, and determines the set water level according to the mode or the water level set value. The control apparatus controls a water inlet valve to feed the water, and receives a water level value detected by a water level detection sensor. When determining that the detected water level value meets the set water level, the control apparatus controls the drum type washing machine to perform the water supplementary washing. By means of the water supplementary washing, the influence of the wetting of the laundry on the water level in the inner drum is considered, which is helpful to improve the accuracy of the water level in the primary washing stage. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 2, the operation that the control apparatus controls the drum type washing machine to perform the water supplementary washing may include the following operations.
  • At S201, the drum type washing machine is controlled, based on a water supplementary washing control parameter, for washing.
  • In an embodiment, the water supplementary washing control parameter includes a water supplementing duration, an inner-drum rotational speed in water supplementing, and an inner-drum action beat in water supplementing. The control apparatus starts a timer to time the water supplementation, and controls a motor to drive the inner drum of the drum type washing machine to act at the inner-drum rotational speed in water supplementing and the inner-drum action beat in water supplementing. The inner-drum rotational speed in water supplementing refers to a rotational speed of the inner drum in the water supplementary washing stage, and the inner-drum action beat in water supplementing refers to a rotation duration and a rotation stopping duration of the inner drum within one rotation period in the water supplementary washing stage.
  • At S202, whether a detected water level is smaller than a set water level is determined; if yes, S203 is executed; and if no, S204 is executed.
  • After entering the water supplementary washing stage, the control apparatus further receives the water level in the inner drum that is detected by the water level detection sensor on the drum type washing machine, compares the detected water level with the set water level for judgment, executes S203 when determining that the detected water level is smaller than the set water level, and executes S204 when determining that the detected water level reaches the set water level.
  • At S203, a water inlet valve is controlled to supplement water.
  • The control apparatus controls the water inlet valve to feed the water for a set water amount or a set duration. The set water amount or the set duration is provided reasonably according to precision of water supplementation in single time. Thereafter, S201 is returned.
  • At S204, whether a water supplementary washing duration reaches a water supplementing duration is determined; if yes, the water supplementary washing is ended; and if no, S201 is returned.
  • Whether the water supplementary washing duration reaches the set water supplementing duration is determined by the timer; if yes, the water supplementary washing is ended and the primary washing stage is entered. If no, S201 is returned to continue to execute the water supplementary washing.
  • In an embodiment, the inner drum of the drum type washing machine is a perforated inner drum, i.e., multiple permeable holes are arranged on the wall of the inner drum. For the perforated inner drum, the drum type washing machine further includes a water spraying mechanism that is fixedly disposed relative to an outer drum of the drum type washing machine; and the water spraying mechanism is configured to spray the water to the inner wall surface of the inner drum.
  • In an example, as shown in FIG. 3, the water spraying mechanism is disposed on a rear portion of the inner drum (on a side of the inner drum that is axially away from an opening). For example, the water spraying mechanism includes a spray pump and a water outlet. The spray pump is disposed in a transmission shaft and communicates with an external water source. The water outlet controls a water spray angle, such that the water guided out by the spray pump is uniformly sprayed to the inner wall surface of the inner drum.
  • In an example, as shown in FIG. 4, the water spraying mechanism is disposed on a front portion of the inner drum (on a side of the inner drum that is axially close to the opening). For example, the water spraying mechanism includes a spray pump and a water outlet. The spray pump is disposed fixedly relative to the outer drum and communicates with an external water source. The water outlet controls a water spray angle, such that the water guided out by the spray pump is uniformly sprayed to the inner wall surface of the inner drum.
  • For the drum type washing machine having the perforated inner drum, in an embodiment, the first control parameter includes an inner-drum rotational speed, an inner-drum action beat and a water spraying action beat, and the operation that the drum type washing machine is controlled, based on the first control parameter, for washing may include the following operation.
  • The drum type washing machine is controlled to operate at the inner-drum rotational speed according to the inner-drum action beat, and the water spraying mechanism is controlled to operate at the water spraying action beat.
  • The inner-drum action beat includes a rotation duration and a rotation stopping duration of the inner drum within one rotation period, and the water spraying action beat includes a water spraying duration and a water spray stopping duration of the water spraying mechanism within one water spray period.
  • In an actual application, the control apparatus of the drum type washing machine may automatically identify the type of the laundry via an image detection algorithm or determine the type of the laundry according to a type parameter of the laundry that is input by the user; and moreover, the control apparatus preliminarily stores first control parameters corresponding to different types of the laundry. In this way, the corresponding first control parameter may be determined according to the type of the laundry, such that the thickness of the formed water film corresponds to the type of the laundry to better protect the laundry.
  • According to the control method provided by the embodiments of the disclosure, it is determined that the drum type washing machine enters the primary washing stage, and the drum type washing machine is controlled, based on the first control parameter corresponding to the type of the laundry, for washing, such that the water film having the set thickness is formed between the inner wall surface of the inner drum of the drum type washing machine and the laundry; and the water film may separate the laundry in the inner drum from an inner wall of the inner drum, and the laundry is supported though a pressure of the water film, thereby avoiding direct rubbing between the laundry and the inner wall of the inner drum to reduce the wear on the laundry.
  • In the primary washing stage, the inner-drum rotational speed is controlled, such that the laundry and the water rise with the inner drum. In this process, by spraying the water to the laundry and the inner drum, and with the utilization of a difference of relative velocity between the laundry and the inner drum, the water film is generated to separate the laundry and the inner wall of the inner drum, and the pressure generated by the water film supports the laundry. The water film fills a gap between the laundry and the inner wall of the inner drum, thereby avoiding the laundry from directly rubbing the inner drum to reduce the damage on the laundry.
  • In an actual application, the thickness d of the water film is correlated with the inner-drum rotational speed R, the water level W and the water spray amount V, i.e., d=f(R,W,V). The larger the rotational speed R, the smaller the d; and the higher the water level W and the larger the water spray amount V, the larger the d.
  • The embodiment of the present disclosure determines the corresponding type of the laundry according to a fiber surface characteristic and a processing technology of the laundry. For example, on one hand, the silk, wool, cotton, linen, chemical fiber and the like have different fiber surface characteristics; and on the other hand, through different processing technologies such as weaving and knitting, or plain weaving and twilling, different flatnesses of the surface of the laundry are formed. In the washing process of the laundry, the water film having the appropriate thickness is formed between the surface of the fabric and the inner wall of the inner drum according to different characteristics of the laundry, thereby ensuring a certain washing performance, better protecting the laundry and reducing the wear.
  • In an embodiment, when the type of the laundry is a wool knitted fabric, the water film has a set thickness of 5-10 mm.
  • In an embodiment, when the type of the laundry is embroidered laundry, the water film has a set thickness of 8-12 mm.
  • In an embodiment, when the type of the laundry is a chemical fiber woven fabric, the water film has a set thickness of 0.5-2 mm.
  • In an embodiment, when the type of the laundry is a cotton and linen woven fabric, the water film has a set thickness of 0.5-7 mm.
  • In the embodiment of the disclosure, by identifying the type of the laundry, the corresponding first control parameter is determined according to the corresponding type of the laundry, thereby controlling the drum type washing machine for washing. The control on the corresponding water film may be implemented according to different types of the laundry to achieve the best laundry protection effect.
  • When the first control parameter is used to control the drum type washing machine for washing, the inner wall surface of the inner drum is separated from the surface of the laundry via the water film having the set thickness, which is helpful to protect the laundry. However, as the rubbing force on the surface of the laundry is reduced, the washing efficiency of the laundry may be affected. In an embodiment, the method may further include the following operation.
  • The drum type washing machine is controlled, based on a second control parameter, for washing in the washing stage.
  • The second control parameter is configured to control the water film to be absent between the inner wall surface of the inner drum of the drum type washing machine and the laundry or to control a thickness of the water film to be smaller than the set thickness.
  • In an embodiment, the second control parameter may be obtained by adjusting a corresponding value of the first control parameter. For example, at least one of the followings may be included: the inner-drum water level in the first control parameter is reduced, the inner-drum rotational speed in the first control parameter is increased, the water spraying action beat in the first control parameter is adjusted such that the water spray amount within the water spray period is reduced, and the inner-drum action beat in the first control parameter is adjusted such that the rotation duration of the inner drum in the rotation period is reduced.
  • In an embodiment, in the washing stage, the drum type washing machine is controlled to operate alternately based on the first control parameter and the second control parameter, or after the drum type washing machine is controlled to operate for a first set duration based on the first control parameter, the drum type washing machine is controlled to operate for a second set duration based on the second control parameter. In this way, the wear of the laundry in the washing process is reduced, and the washing effect of the laundry is ensured.
  • In an embodiment, the inner drum of the drum type washing machine is an imperforated inner drum, i.e., no permeable hole is provided on the wall of the inner drum. By improving the structure of the opening of the inner drum, the water drainage in dewatering is implemented. For the imperforated inner drum, as no permeable hole is provided on the wall of the inner drum, the water film may be kept for a long time. Accordingly, the water spraying mechanism shown in FIG. 3 or FIG. 4 may be omitted for the drum type washing machine. In an embodiment, the first control parameter includes an inner-drum water level, an inner-drum rotational speed and an inner-drum action beat, and the operation that the drum type washing machine is controlled, based on the first control parameter, for washing may include the following operation.
  • It is determined that a water level in the drum type washing machine is the inner-drum water level, and the drum type washing machine is controlled to operate at the inner-drum rotational speed according to the inner-drum action beat.
  • The inner-drum action beat includes a rotation duration and a rotation stopping duration of the inner drum within one rotation period.
  • In the embodiment of the disclosure, the control on the thickness of the water film may be implemented by controlling the inner-drum rotational speed and the inner-drum action beat without disposing the water spraying mechanism on the drum type washing machine. In addition, by identifying the type of the laundry, the corresponding first control parameter is determined according to the corresponding type of the laundry, thereby controlling the drum type washing machine for washing. The control on the corresponding water film may be implemented according to different types of the laundry to achieve the best laundry protection effect.
  • It is to be noted that the method in the embodiment of the disclosure may control formation of the water film having the set thickness between the inner wall surface of the inner drum of the drum type washing machine and the surface of the laundry in the primary washing stage, and may further control formation of the water film having the set thickness between the inner wall surface of the inner drum of the drum type washing machine and the surface of the laundry in the preliminary washing or rinsing stage, thereby protecting the laundry completely in the whole washing process.
  • FIG. 5 illustrates a flowchart schematic diagram of a method for controlling a drum type washing machine according to an embodiment of the disclosure. As shown in FIG. 5, the method may include the following operations.
  • At S501, water is fed to a set water level.
  • After the drum type washing machine is powered on, the control apparatus receives a parameter (such as a washing mode, a type of the laundry, etc.) input by the user, starts the washing machine, and controls the water inlet valve to feed the water to the set water level W1.
  • At S502, water supplementary washing is performed based on a water supplementary washing control parameter.
For example, the water supplementing duration is T1, the inner-drum action beat in water supplementing is A1, and the inner-drum rotational speed in water supplementing is B1. T1=15 min, A1=8s/8s (the motor has operation time of 8 s and stop time of 8 s, and the following is the same as above), and B1=35 Revolutions Per Minute (RPM).
  • At S503, whether a detected water level is smaller than the set water level is determined; if yes, S504 is executed; and if no, S505 is executed.
  • After entering the water supplementary washing stage, the control apparatus further receives the water level in the inner drum that is detected by the water level detection sensor on the drum type washing machine, compares the detected water level with the set water level W1 for judgment, executes S504 when determining that the detected water level is smaller than the set water level W1, and executes S505 when determining that the detected water level reaches the set water level.
  • At S504, the water inlet valve is controlled to supplement water.
  • The control apparatus controls the water inlet valve to feed the water for a set water amount or a set duration. The set water amount or the set duration is provided reasonably according to precision of water supplementation in single time. Thereafter, S502 is returned.
  • At S505, whether a water supplementary washing duration reaches a water supplementing duration is determined; if yes, the water supplementary washing is ended and S506 is executed; and if no, S502 is returned.
  • Whether the water supplementary washing duration reaches the set water supplementing duration is determined by the timer; if yes, the water supplementary washing is ended and the primary washing state is entered (S506 is executed). If no, S502 is returned to continue to execute the water supplementary washing.
  • At S506, primary washing is performed based on a first control parameter.
  • With the drum type washing machine having the perforated inner drum as an example, the first control parameter includes an inner-drum water level, an inner-drum rotational speed, an inner-drum action beat and a water spraying action beat, and the operation that the drum type washing machine is controlled, based on the first control parameter, for washing may include the following operation.
  • It is determined that the water level in the inner drum is the inner-drum water level; or otherwise, the water level is controlled by a water supplementing valve or a drainage valve to meet the inner-drum water level, the drum type washing machine is controlled to operate at the inner-drum rotational speed according to the inner-drum action beat, and the water spraying mechanism is controlled to operate at the water spraying action beat.
  • The inner-drum action beat includes a rotation duration and a rotation stopping duration of the inner drum within one rotation period, and the water spraying action beat includes a water spraying duration and a water spray stopping duration of the water spraying mechanism within one water spray period.
  • Supposing that the type of the laundry is F, the primary washing time T2, the inner-drum action beat A2, the inner-drum rotational speed B2 and the water spraying action beat P1 are set according to the F type. The washing is performed based on the first control parameter according to the type corresponding to the laundry.
  • For example, when the F is the wool knitted fabric, T2=15 min, A2=3s/25s, B2=35 rpm and P1=2s/26s.
  • It is to be noted that the A2 and the P1 may be multiple combinations, i.e., the A2 and the P1 may change within different periods.
  • In such a situation, the water film formed between the wool knitted fabric and the inner wall of the inner drum has the thickness d of about 5-10 mm.
  • Also for example, when the F is the embroidered laundry, T2=10 min, A2=3s/50s, B2=30 rpm and P1=5s/48s.
  • In such a situation, the water film formed between the embroidered laundry and the inner wall of the inner drum has the thickness d of about 8-12mm.
  • Also for example, when the F is the chemical fiber woven fabric, T2=30 min, A2=10s/8s, B2=50 rpm and P1=2s/16s.
  • In such a situation, the water film formed between the chemical fiber woven fabric and the inner wall of the inner drum has the thickness d of about 0.5-2 mm.
  • Also for example, when the F is the cotton and linen woven fabric, T2=40 min, A2=17s/8s, B2=45 rpm and P1=5s/20s.
  • In such a situation, the water film formed between the cotton and linen woven fabric and the inner wall of the inner drum has the thickness d of about 0.5-7 mm.
  • At S507, whether a primary washing duration reaches a primary washing duration is determined; if yes, the primary washing is ended and S508 is executed; and if no, S506 is returned.
  • Whether the primary washing duration reaches the set primary washing duration is determined by the timer; if yes, the primary washing is ended and the rinsing stage is entered (S508 is executed). If no, S506 is returned to continue to execute the primary washing.
  • At S508, subsequent rinsing is performed.
  • The control apparatus controls, based on the control parameter corresponding to the rinsing stage in the first control parameter, the drum type washing machine for rinsing, such that the water film having the set thickness is formed between the inner wall surface of the inner drum of the drum type washing machine and the laundry to reduce the wear on the laundry.
  • With the drum type washing machine having the perforated inner drum as an example, the rinsing control parameter corresponding to the rinsing stage includes an inner-drum rotational speed in rinsing, an inner-drum action beat in rinsing and a water spraying action beat in rinsing; and the operation that the drum type washing machine is controlled for rinsing may include the following operation.
  • Within the rinsing duration, the drum type washing machine is controlled to operate at the inner-drum rotational speed in rinsing according to the inner-drum action beat in rinsing, and the water spraying mechanism is controlled to operate at the water spraying action beat in rinsing.
  • The inner-drum action beat in rinsing includes a rotation duration and a rotation stopping duration of the inner drum within one rotation period, and the water spraying action beat in rinsing includes a water spraying duration and a water spray stopping duration of the water spraying mechanism within one water spray period.
  • According to the embodiment, the drum type washing machine is controlled, based on the first control parameter corresponding to the type of the laundry, for the primary washing, such that the water film having the set thickness is formed between the inner wall surface of the inner drum of the drum type washing machine and the laundry; and the water film may separate the laundry in the inner drum from an inner wall of the inner drum, and the laundry is supported though a pressure of the water film, thereby avoiding direct rubbing between the laundry and the inner wall of the inner drum to reduce the wear on the laundry. In addition, in the embodiment, the drum type washing machine is further controlled, based on the rinsing control parameter corresponding to the type of the laundry, for rinsing, such that the protection effect on the laundry may be enhanced in the rinsing stage.
