This provides a more rapid cooling compared to the conventional methods in which food products are cooled in a cooler appliance (1) by way of convection, avoiding bacteria growth on the food products. - the control unit (10) maintains the position of the heat transfer surface (7) or activates the motor (9) so as to move the heat transfer surface (7) farther from the evaporator (4). By this, the food products placed on the cooling apparatus (6) are prevented from being cooled more than desired. ( Figure 5)
- the containers containing the food products to be cooled, placed on the cooling apparatus (6) provided on the shelf (5), are rapidly cooled, thereby enabling their shelf life to be prolonged by preventing bacteria formation, and avoiding conditions likely to threaten users' health.
