Claims (13)

  1. Wristband for a wristwatch,
    the strap-band (1) comprising a first end (2) arranged to be connected to a case (3) of the watch, and a second end (4) connected to a clasp (5),
    the strap-band (1) further comprising a removable flexible strip (6) which covers parts of the external surface of the strap-band half (1) along its length, wherein the removable flexible strip (6) has a first projection (7) and a second projection (10), the second end (4) of the strap-band being connected to a pivoted attachment element (9) of the clasp (5) having a closed position folded against the strap-band (1) and a raised open position,
    the second projection (10) being held in place and hidden by the pivoted attachment element (9) when the latter is in its closed position, characterized in that the first projection (7) is inserted into an opening (8) provided in the first end (2) of the strand, the first projection (7) and the said opening (8) of the strap-band (1) comprising complementary profiles which cooperate to removably secure the first projection (7) of the flexible strip (6) to the strap-band (1) and when the pivoted attachment element (9) is in its open position it releases and gives access to the second projection (10) of the flexible strip (6) to allow the user to pull on the flexible strip (6) to disengage the first projection (7) of the flexible strip (6) from the strap-band.
  2. Wristband according to claim 1, wherein the flexible strip (6) consists of two different layers (11, 12), an outer layer (11) made of leather or a leather-like material, fabric or another colored material which is visible from the outside and an inner layer (12) made of a sliding material.
  3. Bracelet band according to claim 1 or 2, comprising a series of articulated links (13) arranged on either side of the flexible strip (6).
  4. Bracelet band according to claim 3, wherein the links (13) comprise a central portion (14) and two lateral supports (15) arranged on either side of the central portion (14), the flexible strip (6) being configured to cover the upper side of the central portion (14) of the links so that the flexible strip (6) forms a visible upper part of the strap-band (1).
  5. Bracelet band according to claim 4, wherein the lateral link supports (15) have grooves (16) along the strap-band (1) arranged to receive the lateral edges (17) of the flexible strip (6).
  6. Bracelet band according to claim 5 when dependent on claim 2, wherein the inner layer (12) of a slippery material extends laterally beyond the outer layer (11) to form the side edges (17) of the flexible strip (6) which are received in grooves (16) along the strap-band (1).
  7. Bracelet band according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the first projection (7) of the flexible strip (6) comprises a shallow upwardly facing cavity (18) in which a downwardly facing projection (19) provided in the first end (2) of the strand engages.
  8. Bracelet band according to claim 7, wherein the first projection (7) of the flexible strip (6) terminates beyond said shallow cavity (18) with a lip (20) that extends slightly above said shallow cavity (18).
  9. Bracelet band according to claim 7 or 8, wherein the flexible strip (6) has, adjacent its first projection (7), a recess (21) of partially cylindrical shape facing towards the end and extending above and continuous with said shallow cavity (18).
  10. Bracelet band according to claim 9, comprising a cylindrical bar (22) arranged to attach the first end (2) of the bracelet band to a case (3) of the watch, this bar (22) engaging in the opening with a partially cylindrical surface formed by the shallow cavity (18) and by said partially cylindrical hollow (21).
  11. Bracelet of a wristwatch, comprising two bracelet bands (1) according to one of the preceding claims, each bracelet band (1) comprising a first end (2) arranged to be connected to a case (3) of a wristwatch, the two bands (1) being connected by their second ends (4) to a clasp (5).
  12. Bracelet according to claim 11, wherein the clasp (5) is of the type comprising deployable articulated arms comprising, at each bracelet band (1), a pivoted attachment element (9).
  13. Wristwatch comprising a bracelet according to claim 11 or 12 and a case (3) connected to the first ends (2) of two bands (1) of a bracelet.
