Description
The invention relates to a training device for exercising a sequence of movements similar to cross-country skiing, which can also be used as a cross trainer.
A wide variety of training devices are known for the simultaneous training of the muscles and the circulation of the human body. With the help of such training devices, the user can exercise certain movement sequences while stationary, for example rowing, cycling, running or other sports indoors without moving from the place.
However, the different types of training equipment are associated with specific disadvantages. For example, with a bicycle training device, only the leg muscles are used. Even when using a treadmill, the leg muscles are mainly trained. In addition, the joints and spine are stressed by the impacts that occur when running outdoors, which can lead to increased signs of wear and tear in the joints. When rowing machines are used, certain muscle groups are stressed on one side, whereby the stress on the back muscles in particular does not correspond to a natural state of motion of the human body.
The users of training devices have a very general interest in training their body in as versatile a manner as possible within the scope of its natural motion sequence without putting excessive strain on the joints and spine.
The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a training device that simulates natural motion sequences of the human body, avoids excessive stress on joints and can be used in as many ways as possible. This object is achieved according to the invention by the training device according to

In addition, a right rail, which is arranged in the right edge area of the base frame and extends along the right footrest in the resting state, and a left rail, which is arranged in the left edge area of the base frame and extends along the left footrest in the resting state, is provided, with a right, elongated, on its upper end handle-like push rod is movably mounted with its lower end in the right rail and a left, elongated, handle-like push rod at its upper end is movably mounted with its lower end in the left rail.
The training device is additionally equipped with two grip elements, namely with a right grip element firmly but detachably connected to the right front hinge tube and with a left grip element firmly but detachably connected to the left front hinge tube.
The training device according to the present invention allows the simulation of a movement sequence similar to cross-country skiing. In doing so, a large number of muscle groups of the user are stressed within the scope of their natural load processes, without any blows or bumps being exerted on the joints and spine of the user. By moving the legs and simultaneously moving the arms, the user performs a movement that corresponds to cross-country skiing in every detail. Due to the movable attachment of the footrests to the swivel tubes and the attachment of the swivel tubes to the hinge tubes, the two pairs of swivel tubes are deflected due to the movement of the user's legs. The feet remain in continuous contact with the footrests throughout the entire training session, while the arms guide the push rods in the two rails back and forth. In principle, arms and legs can also be moved in the pass passage, with one However, properly performed training, arms and legs are moved in a diagonal step, as is usual in cross-country skiing, which is identical in terms of movement to that of walking or running. Characteristic for this type of movement is an alternating leg and diagonal arm use. When the training device according to the invention is used as intended, the user can train his body in a very versatile manner within the framework of a natural sequence of movements, without placing excessive stress on the joints and spine.
The two grip elements can be removed when using the training device for exercising a sequence of movements similar to cross-country skiing. If the training device is to be used as a cross trainer, the user grips the two handle elements instead of the push bars. Because the grip elements are fastened to the front hinge tubes, they can be deflected together with the movement of the two pairs of pivot tubes. This makes it possible to use the training device in the same way as a cross trainer. As with its use as a cross-country training device, the user's joints and spine are not exposed to any impacts or other loads. The user's feet remain in continuous contact with the footrests.
Preferably, the training device is additionally equipped with a front support element, the front support element being firmly but detachably connected to the front support element. Especially for users who are in a build-up phase to regain their physical performance, a front support element provides additional security when using the training device. If the user loses his balance during exercise, the user can find support on the front support element and thus regain balance .
The training device is preferably additionally equipped with a rear support element, the rear support element being firmly but detachably connected to the rear support element. In this case too, a rear support element provides additional security when using the training device, particularly for users who are in a build-up phase to regain their physical performance. If the user loses his / her balance during exercise, the user can find support on the rear support element and thus regain balance.
Embodiments are particularly preferred in which both a front and a rear support element are provided.
According to a further preferred embodiment of the present invention, the right push rod is connected in the area of its lower end to an elastic element, the elastic element being connected to the right rail. At the same time, the left push rod is connected to an elastic element in the area of its lower end, the elastic element being connected to the left rail. By connecting the push rod to a respective elastic element attached to the corresponding rail, it is achieved that the push rod has to be moved backwards against increased resistance, whereby the movements of cross-country skiing are simulated with further increased similarity.
The elastic elements are particularly preferably equipped with a variably adjustable restoring force. With this embodiment, the resistance that the push rod oppose to the movement of the user can be individually adapted to the training condition of the user. For example, springs can be used as elastic elements, which can be adapted to the individual training needs of the user by means of different pretensioning.
The movable connection of the right footrest to the right front and the right rear swivel tube as well as the movable connection of the left footrest to the left front and left rear swivel tube is preferably made with the aid of a total of four hinge pins.
The right footrest is preferably connected to the right front and the right rear swivel tube with the aid of two connecting pieces and / or the left footrest is connected to the left front and the left rear swivel tube using two connecting pieces. This embodiment is associated with the advantage that the footrests can be made smaller, which leads to material savings and lower production costs.
The right footrest is particularly preferably equipped with a right footrest and the left footrest with a left footrest, the footstops serving for the exact positioning of the user's foot.
The training device is preferably additionally equipped with two support struts, namely with a right support strut firmly connected to the base frame to support the right push rod and a left support strut firmly connected to the base frame to support the left push rod. The two push bars are not used when the training device is used as a cross trainer or when it is at rest.
With the help of the two support struts, the push rods can be conveniently set down and, if necessary, grasped immediately and used during cross-country skiing training.
