Die Kammer A 17 aus sicherheitstechnischen Gründen aus metallischem Werkstoff, ist mit dem Gasausgang 7a des Gasregelgerätes 4 verbunden, in diesem Ausführungsbeispiel durch eine im Gewinde dichtende Verschraubung 25. Als Alternative Verbindung zur Gasregeleinrichtung kann mittels modifizierter Kammer A 17a eine Verschraubung mit zylindrischem Gewinde 27 und einem Dichtelement 26, wie in Fig. 4 dargestellt, dienen. Beide Kammern sind durch eine Membran 16 voneinander abgedichtet. Die äußere umlaufende Wulst der Membran dient hierbei als formschlüssiges Dichtelement. Beide Kammern sind in diesem Ausführungsbeispiel über eine Verschraubung (30) miteinander verbunden. An die Membran 16 ist einseitig eine elektrisch leitende, zentrisch gelochte Scheibe 15 durch eine Schnappverbindung angebaut. Die Membran mit der angebauten Scheibe ist in Richtung der Kammer B 19 positioniert. Die Kammer B 19 aus nicht elektrisch leitendem Material, vorzugsweise Kunststoff bestehend, nimmt zwei voneinander isolierte Kontaktelemente 10 auf. Diese Kontaktelemente 10 sind durch Schlitze in der Kammer B 19 in das Innere eingefügt und durch elektrisch leitende Befestigungen 10a positioniert und in geeigneter Weise fest verbunden, in diesem Beispiel durch Umformen der Befestigungen. Die in Fig. 2 dargestellte erfindungsgemäße Einrichtung zeigt die Offenstellung, das heißt die Membran befindet sich, weil kein Brennerdruck anliegt, am unteren Anschlag 21. Der Stromkreis 20 ist offen, es erfolgt keine Statusanzeige. Liegt durch Öffnen des Hauptventils im Gasregelgerät Druck am Gasbrenner 2 an, wird der Druck durch die Öffnung 18 in das Innere der erfindungsgemäßen Einrichtung 1 auf die untere Seite der Membran 16 übertragen. Von Vorteil ist dabei, dass die Größe der Öffnung 18 so bemessen ist, dass bei Zerstörung der Membran 16 im Havariefall keine zündfähige, unzulässig hohe Gasmenge austreten kann. Weiterhin ermöglicht diese Auslegung, dass die Kammer B 19 kostengünstig aus Kunststoff gefertigt werden kann. Unter dem anliegenden Druck bewegt sich die Membran 16 bis zum oberen Anschlag, der durch beide elektrisch leitenden Befestigungen 10a gebildet wird. Die Endlage der Membran 16 unter anliegendem Druck wird in Fig.3 dargestellt. Mit dem Erreichen der Endlage der Membran 16 werden durch die Scheibe 15 beide Befestigungen 10a elektrisch verbunden, der Stromkreis 20 ist geschlossen und die Statusanzeige erfolgt über die angeschlossene LED 12. Der Status wird dauerhaft angezeigt, solange Druck am Gasbrenner 2 anliegt. Claims (6)

  1. Device for indicating the status of a gas burner when operated with a gas control apparatus with liquid-filled temperature controller characterised in that the device (1) connected to an outlet (7a) of the gas control apparatus (4) for the gas burner (2) consists of a housing (14) which has at least two interconnected chambers, which are separated gas-tight by a membrane (16) connected on one side to an electrically conductive component (15), wherein the chamber A (17) is connected to the gas outlet (7a) of the gas control apparatus (4), the membrane (16) to which the gas pressure of the gas burner (2) is applied through an opening (18) in the chamber A (17) when the gas valve is open, produces a stroke, by means of which the chamber B (19) in which the side of the membrane (16) having the connected electrically conductive component (15) is positioned, closes a circuit (20) via contact elements (10) led outwards and suitably (12) indicates the operating status, whereas when the gas valve is closed, the stroke of the membrane (16) goes back to the starting position (21) at its own spring constant, the circuit (20) is opened and no operating status is indicated.

Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the chamber A (17) of the housing (14) is designed differently with two connection points (22, 23) to serve as a status indicator of the pilot gas on connection to the pilot gas outlet (8) in the supply line (13) between gas control apparatus (4) and pilot gas burner (3).
  3. Device according to claim 2, characterised in that the device is arranged as a fitting (29) in the supply line (9) between gas control apparatus (4) and gas burner (2).
  4. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that, instead of the circuit (20) described above, external components are switched by connecting a relay to the contact elements (10).
  5. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the membrane (16) has a spring constant that with sufficient stroke eliminates the use of a separate restoring spring to open the circuit (20) when the gas valve of the gas control apparatus (4) is shut.
  6. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that a pressure setting is not necessary.
