Description
The present invention relates to a washing basket for dishwashers, the washing basket having a grid-shaped basket base and side walls formed from base bars and the side walls together with the basket base surrounding a basket interior of the washing basket and the basket base and / or the side walls having contact surfaces on an underside of the washing basket, which end in a support level of the washing rack.
In addition, the invention also relates to an arrangement with a dishwasher and a washing basket and a method for washing objects arranged in the interior of a washing basket in a dishwasher.
In the prior art, washing baskets of the generic type are used for washing dishes, glasses, cutlery and the like in dishwashers. In the industrial sector in particular, such washing racks can also be used for washing other items in dishwashers.
It is the object of the invention to improve washing racks of the generic type in such a way that they contribute to the best possible washing result.
According to the invention, it is provided for this purpose that the bottom webs have angled web areas which, viewed in a sectional plane orthogonal to the contact plane, are arranged at least in some areas at an acute angle to the contact plane.
Durch die abgewinkelten Stegbereiche der Bodenstege wird die, in derDue to the angled web areas of the bottom webs, the one in which
Dishwasher sprayed into the washing basket from below and deflected in a targeted manner, so that the items to be washed stored in the basket interior are exposed to washing liquid from as many different sides as possible. In this way, it is at least largely avoided that there are areas of the objects to be washed that are not exposed to washing liquid. Overall, the wash result is thus improved by the angled web area of the bottom webs. Washing baskets according to the invention can be used for washing dishes, glasses, cutlery, but also other objects in correspondingly suitable dishwashers. The washing racks according to the invention can be used accordingly both in the catering sector and in industrial production. Washing baskets according to the invention can, for. B. if they are used for washing plates, be equipped with special plate supports, known per se, on which plates are supported during the washing process. If they are present, these plate supports are then located in a manner known per se in the interior of the basket and can preferably be integrally formed or attached to the basket base.
The interior of the basket surrounded by the basket base and the side walls can be open at the top, that is to say on the side facing away from the basket base. However, washing baskets according to the invention can also be equipped with lids or the like, optionally latticed.
Basically, the washing baskets can be made of different materials. It is preferably a plastic wash baskets. The bottom webs and the side walls, preferably the entire washing basket, can or can be formed in one piece. The washing racks according to the invention can e.g. are manufactured by injection molding.
On the bottom of the basket and / or the side walls, there are support surfaces on the underside of the wash basket, with which the wash basket can be placed on one level. In this respect, the contact surfaces specify the contact plane of the wash basket in which the wash basket is in the normal position, that is to say with the basket bottom downwards, on a, usually horizontal, surface. The contact areas can be designed as punctiform, linear or otherwise. Even with a so-called point-like design, there is ultimately always a certain area available, so that the concept of the contact area is also permissible in this case.
The orthogonal cutting plane through the bottom webs with the angled web areas is in each case a cutting plane which is orthogonal to the contact plane. In this orthogonal sectional plane, each running through the bottom web with the angled web area, the angled web areas are arranged at least in some areas at an acute angle to the contact plane. Seen in this cutting plane, the bottom webs can be arranged completely at an acute angle to the contact plane. In this case, the bottom webs in this area consist exclusively of angled web areas.
In order to avoid flushing shadows, however, preferred variants of the invention provide that the bottom webs, viewed in the sectional plane orthogonal to the standing plane, are at least partially angled in themselves. It can be provided in the invention that the bottom webs, viewed in the cutting plane orthogonal to the contact plane, also have orthogonal web regions above or below the angled web regions, the orthogonal web regions, viewed in the cutting plane orthogonal to the contact plane, being arranged orthogonal to the contact plane. Overall, angled web areas thus describe an area of a base web which, viewed in a corresponding orthogonal sectional plane, is arranged at least in some areas at an acute angle to the contact plane. An orthogonal web area is one which, viewed in the corresponding orthogonal cutting plane standing orthogonally on the contact plane, is arranged orthogonally, that is, at a right angle to the contact plane.
As is known per se, an acute angle means an angle that is greater than 0 ° and smaller than 90 °, i.e. smaller than an orthogonal angle. In this sense, one could also say that the angled web areas are arranged at an angle or angled to the contact plane, the words angled or angled describing angles that are in the range between 0 ° and 90 °.
In case of doubt, the terms above and below refer to an operating position of the washing rack in which the contact plane is horizontal and the bottom of the basket forms the lower end of the washing basket.
The term of the lattice-shaped basket base describes that the basket base has free spaces or through-openings between the base webs through which e.g. the rinsing liquid can enter the basket interior through the basket bottom.
It is preferably provided that, viewed in the section plane orthogonal to the standing plane, one of the orthogonal web areas, preferably in each case, merges directly into one of the angled web areas.
Preferred variants of the invention also provide that, as seen in the cutting plane orthogonal to the contact plane, one of the orthogonal web areas encloses an obtuse angle with one of the angled web areas. As is known per se, an obtuse angle is an angle that is greater than 180 ° but less than 270 °.
In order that the rinsing liquid deflected at the angled web areas can achieve the maximum effect in the basket interior, it is preferably provided that the angled web areas are arranged below the basket interior. In other words, the angled web areas are not located in the area of the side walls of the wash basket.
Preferred variants of the invention provide that a bottom web has a sequence of angled web areas along its longitudinal extension. It is preferably provided that the angled web areas that follow one another in the sequence are arranged at a distance from one another in the direction of the longitudinal extension of the bottom web. It is also favorable if the angled web areas of the respective bottom web are angled in different directions.
The bottom webs can, seen in a plan view of the basket bottom or the support plane, run parallel to the side walls of the washing basket. The bottom webs can, as seen in said top view, but also run parallel to a diagonal or at a different angle to the side walls of the wash basket through the wash basket. Mixed forms of these are also possible. Preferred variants of the invention provide that at least some of the bottom webs jointly form a diamond-shaped pattern. There can also be base webs running parallel to the side walls as well as base webs forming a diamond-shaped pattern in a basket base. By means of bottom bars running parallel to the side walls, which extend further than the other bottom bars downwards in the direction of the support level, a cross-shaped structure can be created in the basket base, which can be used to move the corresponding means of transport of a dishwasher from below into this cross-shaped structure of the basket base intervene to transport the washing basket through a corresponding dishwasher. Such cross-shaped structures in basket floors are known per se.
In principle, angled web areas according to the invention can be formed on all of the above-mentioned bottom webs.
As is known per se, the wash basket can have a rectangular, in particular square, but also a differently shaped basic shape when viewed from above on the wash basket or on its support plane. The term rectangular or square basic shape also includes those embodiments in which the corners of this basic shape are rounded. In addition to the washing basket per se, the invention also relates to an arrangement with a dishwasher and with a washing basket according to the invention, the washing basket being arranged in the washing machine and washing liquid nozzles of the washing machine being arranged below the basket base and a respective washing liquid discharge direction of the respective washing liquid nozzles being directed towards the basket base. It is preferably provided that the washing liquid nozzles are arranged in a rotatably mounted washing arm of the washing machine, the washing arm then also being located below the basket base. In this arrangement, the washing liquid is sprayed from the washing liquid nozzles from below through the basket bottom onto the objects to be washed in the basket interior. In this case, a relatively large proportion of the total amount of washing liquid discharged by the washing liquid nozzles passes through the free spaces or through openings in the bottom of the basket without being deflected. However, if the rinsing liquid hits the angled web areas of the bottom webs, it is deflected there so that a multitude of different directions is formed in the basket interior, in which the rinsing liquid hits the objects to be washed and stored in the basket interior. As explained above, this achieves a particularly good washing result.
In addition, the invention also relates to a method for washing objects arranged in the basket interior of a washing basket according to the invention in a dishwasher, wherein the washing basket for washing the objects in the dishwasher is arranged via washing liquid nozzles of the dishwasher and washing liquid is sprayed from the washing liquid nozzles through the basket bottom into the basket interior is, with parts of the rinsing liquid being diverted from the angled web areas of the bottom webs into the basket interior.
The objects to be washed arranged in the basket interior can, as already stated above, be dishes, glasses, cutlery, but also other objects.
