Definitions
- the invention relates to an individually configurable timepiece with a primary and secondary housing.
- Timepieces and wristwatches in particular only have specific differentiating features in the low price segment.
- the names of the large, long-established manufacturers and premium brands are often decisive in purchasing.
- discounters and global web shops offer a wide range of models in almost all price segments. Renowned watch brands are also increasingly being sold via Internet portals.
- smart watches are gaining a significant market share.
- the solution proposed here realizes the wishes of the watch wearer in terms of individuality and versatility. This brings the timepiece and, preferably, the wristwatch closer to the definition of a lifestyle product and even has the potential to become the object of communication in modern media.
- EP 2 283 399 B1 shows a modular movement that is fully functional on its own. It can be exchanged without tools in portable devices, ie for example in wristwatch housings.
- the modular movement is inserted into the opening of a receptacle via the back facing towards the body. When assembled, the watch glass of the modular movement becomes the watch glass of the wristwatch, for example.
- the modular movement also forms the rear side facing the wearer's body and is thus, at least partially, held in the wristwatch receptacle by the wearer's body.
- DE 202 10 572 U1 also describes a modular movement, which is firmly connected to the upper or front watch case as a sealed unit.
- the front watch case which is visible for reading the time, is in turn connected to the rear case part, which faces the arm of the wearer, so that it can move radially.
- the connection is made via a centering or bearing screw, which is positioned in the middle of the housing.
- EP 1 684 135 B1 discloses a watch case with a rotating cover/bezel combination. This is attached to a shaft, which is located in the middle of the housing. The movement has at least one eccentric display.
- the cover/bezel combination can be rotated in different positions by the watch wearer. The eccentric displays thus become invisible or visible. There is also a rotating position where none of the displays are visible.
- EP 2 577 406 B1 describes a wristwatch whose aesthetic appearance can be altered by a non-professional and without tools. Movement, movement housing and watch glass are arranged in the middle as an independent, sealed unit. Two ring-shaped flanges are arranged on the outer circumference of the housing, between which there is a circumferential groove. After lifting the bezel, which is connected to a second cover glass, the non-specialist can insert movable elements into the circumferential groove. Once the bezel and cover glass have been installed, rotation of this cover element is no longer provided.
- EP 2 577 406 B1 enables the non-professional to introduce individual design elements. This is done here in a circumferential groove arranged on the outer circumference of the housing. Consequently, a small recording space, which is limited by the required mechanics with many precisely fitting individual elements. The upper bezel-glass combination can be removed to add individual design elements, but can no longer be rotated when mounted. Further describes EP 2 577 406 B1 a modular movement, which is independently functional as a tight unit. This is neither removable nor rotatable.
- EP 2 283 399 B1 , DE 10 2010 035 501 A1 and DE 202 10 572 U1 also disclose a modular movement that functions independently as a sealed unit. In the description of EP 2 283 399 B1 and DE 10 2010 035 501 A1 this modular movement can be removed or changed by non-professionals. In the case of DE 10 2010 035 501 A1 and DE 202 10 572 U1 the modular movement is rotatable. DE 202 10 572 U1 describes a variant in which the modular movement is firmly connected to the front watch case. The front watch case, which is visible for reading the time, is in turn radially movably connected to the rear housing part facing the wearer's arm. In this way the rotatability is achieved. This requires a central axis that limits the installation space.
- EP 1 684 135 B1 A comparable central axis is shown in EP 1 684 135 B1 shown. It allows the bezel-glass combination to be rotated but not disassembled. Furthermore, the movement is not modular and also cannot be dismantled.
- From the DE 10 2014 011 430 A1 is an analogue watch with a main display and a secondary display as well as separately rotatable bezels to display different time zones.
- a clock is known, the top of which has separate areas with the display panel of a clockwork or for receiving an interchangeable insert that can be designed individually.
- the US2007/10253290 discloses a stand alone functional timepiece that can be housed in a fixed position socket.
- the U.S. 2012 092 967 discloses a timepiece whose movement and display can be screwed together at various angles.
- the US4932010 discloses an analog movement that is centrally located in a watch case and is coupled via gears to an eccentrically positioned display.
- the DE 10 2005 54108 A1 describe a modular watch in which the movement is mounted between a top and a bottom by pinching a cover glass.
- a box for storing a watch or jewelry is known, in which the watch or jewelry can be presented in different lockable positions when the box is open.
- the DE 94 06 143 U discloses a device for attaching a measuring instrument, such as a watch, to the outside of clothing.
- the main object of the invention disclosed here is to create a timepiece that can be designed individually and professionally.
- the preferred embodiment is a wrist watch.
- clockwork is, as usual, summarized as the components inside a clock that are required for the generation and representation of a measure of time, e.g. gear train, drive and display in an (electro)mechanical clock, or electronic components in a clock electronic (quartz) clock.
- a measure of time e.g. gear train, drive and display in an (electro)mechanical clock, or electronic components in a clock electronic (quartz) clock.
- This differs from the housing, which houses the movement and protects it from mechanical influences.
- the primary case containing the movement functions as a timepiece in its own right” means that it is self-contained mechanically (protected) and performs all the functions of a watch (measuring and displaying time).
- the primary housing could therefore easily be worn by a user as a watch.
- the secondary housing should be able to be opened “without tools” means that a user can open it (and preferably also close it again) by hand alone and without additional aids, with easier opening with the aid of tools obviously not being ruled out.
- the sight glass is typically arranged in such a way that it allows the user to view the primary housing (and preferably its time display there) from the outside. Furthermore, design elements that were introduced into the secondary housing should also be visible through the sight glass.
- the means for fixing the primary housing at a selectable position in the interior of the secondary housing can in principle be arbitrary and can include fixing by friction (e.g. clamping, fixing with magnetic forces), positive locking (e.g. accommodation in a pocket) or material connection (e.g. gluing).
- the fixation should be (slightly) reversible and can be undone without leaving any residue or damage.
- the “selectable positions” can be discrete, that is to say fixed in a certain number, or they can be distributed continuously within the interior.
- the central axes of the primary and secondary housings are optionally not identical.
- the central axis of a housing that is essentially cylindrical, for example, is defined by the cylinder axis.
- Central axis In the case of the primary housing, that is correct Central axis generally coincident with the axis of rotation of mechanical hour and minute hands (where fitted).
- the secondary housing is composed of an upper part and a lower part, which can be opened or closed by a manual operation without tools.
- the upper part and lower part can have an external thread or an internal thread in order to be able to be screwed together. They can preferably also be connected to one another in the manner of a bayonet.
- the upper part, including the sight glass, of the secondary housing can be rotated as desired around its central axis in the installed state, without a primary housing contained moving.
- the upper part is typically rotated relative to the lower part.
- the upper part can optionally only be removed from the lower part by hand and without further aids after a preferably helical securing element has been removed. Without removing the securing element, the upper part and lower part remain coupled and cannot unintentionally become detached from one another.
- the upper part (after removing the securing element) can be removed from the lower part by hand and without additional tools in only certain predetermined angular positions—preferably only in one to four angular positions.
- the upper part and lower part of the secondary housing can also optionally have a plurality of groove sections on the outer circumference, preferably not divided symmetrically, which, starting from the central axis of symmetry of the secondary housing, alternate with one another on the circumference and add up to a single circumferential groove in order to Allow assembly of upper and lower part with a movement along the axis of symmetry.
- the primary housing is generally advantageously shockproof and impervious to solid, liquid and gaseous media. The corresponding protection of the movement can then only be provided by the primary housing.
- At least one optical element can be provided in the timepiece, which is attached eccentrically inside the secondary housing, can rotate about the vertical axis of the secondary housing, and can be locked in any angular position.
- the optical element can be a lens, for example, with which the user can view various objects in the interior of the secondary housing in an enlarged manner by rotating them.
- the secondary case may also include bracelet lugs so that the timepiece can be worn as a wristwatch with a metal, leather, synthetic leather, rubber, or plastic bracelet.
- the timepiece may have at least one bracelet lug that is reversibly attached or attachable to the secondary case.
- the advantage of this is that the freedom of individual design is further increased in that a secondary case can be optionally combined with different bracelet lugs.
- several types of connection between the bracelet attachment and the secondary housing can also be provided, for example through different positions of the connection between the bracelet attachment and the secondary housing, which offers further freedom of design.
- the ability to connect the bracelet attachment and the secondary housing separately usually also has advantages in terms of manufacturing technology.
- bracelet lugs there are two bracelet lugs, both of which are reversibly connectable to the secondary housing.
- the bracelet lug could be screwed to the secondary housing by means of threads formed on it and/or by means of screws.
- the bracelet lug has an extension which can be inserted into a recess in the secondary housing and which can be locked in the secondary housing so that the bracelet lug can no longer unintentionally become detached from the secondary housing.
- the locking can take place in particular by force fit or by form fit.
- the above-mentioned locking preferably takes place "automatically" by assembling the upper part and the lower part.
- the continuation of the bracelet abutment could be clamped in a non-positive manner when the upper part and lower part were assembled.
- the locking advantageously takes place by means of a form fit, for example by the upper part engaging in a depression, groove or the like of the extension.
- the timepiece may further include a positioning member connectable to the primary housing and effecting fixation of the primary housing within the secondary housing (i.e., serving as a means for fixing the primary housing at a selectable position within the interior of the secondary housing).
- the positioning element can act as a kind of adapter between the primary housing and the secondary housing, so that it becomes possible to fix different types and shapes of primary housing in the secondary housing.
- the positioning element can be connected to the primary housing by gluing, for example. Additionally or alternatively, the positioning element can interact with the secondary housing in a form-fitting manner in order to fix the position of the primary housing.
- the bottom of the secondary housing may have specially shaped indentations into which the Positioning element suitable (ie typically non-rotatable and / or non-displaceable) can be used.
- the preferred embodiment of the timepiece is a wristwatch.
- the customizable timepiece contains at least one primary watch case 111 (primary case) and at most one secondary watch case 112 (secondary case).
- the lower figure in 10 shows an example of an individually configurable timepiece with two primary housings 111, 111A and the lower part of the secondary housing 112B.
- Each primary watch case which directly surrounds the movement and the hands, takes on all functionally relevant properties such as time display, shock resistance and impermeability to solid, liquid and gaseous media.
- the secondary watch case completely surrounds the primary.
- the watch wearer can creatively design other content in the secondary watch case himself. Since the volume of the primary watch case is typically significantly smaller than that of the secondary, there remains a significantly larger space for your own ideas in the secondary case.
- the recording space for your own ideas is marked by number 311 ( 3 ) shown. Only the space occupied by the primary housing 111 has to be deducted from the entire interior space in the secondary housing. Specialist knowledge is not required to design the recording room.
- the timepiece should provide the watch wearer, the jewelery designer or the goldsmith with the largest possible accommodation space within the case for the introduction of individual design elements. This should extend to the interior of the secondary housing below the sight glass and not just relate to a groove on the outer circumference.
- the introduction of individual design elements should be possible without specialist watchmaker knowledge, without tools and without jeopardizing the function of the watch.
- the creation of a possibility to rotate the sight glass on the secondary housing around the vertical axis of the Twisting the secondary housing is also an option of the invention. This degree of freedom of rotation serves to achieve additional optical effects.
- a minimization of the individual parts required and consequently the avoidance of complex mechanical elements is advantageous.
- the minimization is desirable in order to maximize the accommodation space in the secondary housing to be provided for the customization.
- the artistic trades, especially in the jewelry design and goldsmith trades should also be provided with a large space for creative design and the introduction of professional work for their customers.
- the primary watch case 111, 111A encloses the movement and, in the case of an analog display, the hands. It is functional on its own. Furthermore, it is preferably impact-resistant and impervious to solid, liquid and gaseous media.
- the secondary watch case 112 completely surrounds the primary. It preferably consists of a lower part 112B, which in a preferred embodiment has lugs (411A, 411B, 421A, 421B 4 ; 1113 11 ) for a watch strap. Furthermore, it can optionally have geometric recesses (511, 521 figure 5 ) included, which are intended for the defined accommodation of the primary watch case. In a preferred embodiment, the defined recordings are in figure 5 pictured. Also shown is mating receptacle 111A on primary housing 111 . This is a protruding projection 111A, which can be inserted in a form-fitting manner in a recess 511, 521 and thereby fixes the primary housing.
- the secondary watch case preferably consists of an upper part (112A) which has a sight glass (611, 6 ) to look at the primary watch case inside.
- the upper part and sight glass are typically firmly connected and can only be separated using tools. When assembled, the combination of upper part and sight glass can always be rotated around its central axis and locked in any angular position relative to the lower part of the secondary housing. In this way, additional visual effects are created.
- the geometry of the bottom and top of the secondary watch case allows it to be opened and closed with a single manual operation without tools.
- 2 shows a wide opening between the upper part and lower part of the secondary housing in the upper area. 2 below shows a smaller distance to each other after axial movement has already taken place.
- the fully enclosed secondary housing is in 1 shown.
- the upper and lower parts are connected in a form-fitting manner on the central axis. For this purpose, the undercuts, which are unevenly distributed around the circumference, interlock.
- this can be implemented in such a way that the upper part and lower part each have an interrupted edge that protrudes radially inwards or outwards, with interruptions and edge pieces being arranged in a complementary manner. Accordingly, where the edge of the bottom has a break, the edge of the top has an edge piece and vice versa.
- the uneven distribution is exemplified in 7 shown on the bottom of the secondary housing.
- the non-uniformity ensures that, at any given angle of rotation, at least three undercuts are engaged with one another and that the upper part can only be lifted off in a single angular position.
- the interaction of the undercuts of the upper and lower part of the secondary housing is exemplary in 9 shown below.
- the cut Y - Y' ( 9 below) shows the form fit between (112A) and (112B).
- a preferred geometry 111A provided for defined accommodation on the primary housing 111 is shown figure 5 . It has the shape of the flat outer edge 111A of a piece of cake, here with an included angle of 45°. This outer edge 111A is placed in the recess 521 provided for this purpose in the lower part of the secondary housing. After insertion, the primary housing is fixed in five degrees of freedom and can only be removed again in one movement along the central axis. This last degree of freedom is simultaneously blocked by the closure of the lower part and upper part of the secondary housing.
- FIG. 8 shows in section X-X' the defined gap (821) remaining for the outer edge (111A) after the upper part (112A) and lower part (112B) have been brought together.
- the accommodation space for further design elements (311) is defined by the interior space in the secondary housing minus the volume of the primary housing.
- a safety element prevents the secondary housing from being opened unintentionally.
- a screw possibly with a knurled head or a similar crown, can be used as a security element.
- this is achieved by a thread (811, 8 ) screwed into the lower part of the secondary housing. It engages the circumferential groove in the top of the secondary housing (112A).
- the screw either only secures the secondary housing against unintentional opening or, at the same time, the degree of freedom of rotation of the secondary housing is fixed.
- the two functions "securing the secondary housing against unintentional opening” and “fixing the degree of freedom of rotation from the upper part of the secondary housing” are divided between two screws.
- screws can be used with other securing elements, such as pins.
- the primary watch case is stationary in the secondary and is completely surrounded by the secondary watch case and all adjustment elements such as crowns and pushers are fixed solely to the primary watch case. It is therefore only possible to set the time and possibly the stopwatch functions after the secondary housing has been opened and the primary housing removed. Therefore, once the top of the secondary housing has been removed from the bottom of the secondary housing, the primary housing can be easily removed again and again.
- the primary housing is arranged eccentrically in the secondary housing.
- the upper part of the secondary watch case always has an unrestricted degree of freedom of rotation about its central axis after assembly.
- Optical effects can be produced in connection with the primary housing (111) arranged eccentrically and with optical elements, e.g. lenses, optical filters or prisms, also arranged eccentrically on the viewing glass (611) of the secondary housing.
- the view of the time or the view of individual elements can, for example, be enlarged by a lens with a positive number of diopters.
- Additional lighting elements installed in the interior e.g. luminous foils or miniature light-emitting diodes, enhance the visual appearance.
- the watch wearer is provided with the largest possible accommodation space for individual adjustments in the secondary watch case.
- a primary housing takes up less than 50% and preferably less than 30% of the volume enclosed by the secondary housing.
- elements that minimize the receiving space such as central rotary axes, have been completely dispensed with.
- the secondary housing consists of no more than two parts, each having a volume greater than 1,000 (one thousand) cubic millimeters, preferably 500 (five hundred) cubic millimeters. These are the lower part of the secondary housing (112B) and the upper part of the secondary housing including sight glass (112A, 611). This minimum number of individual parts is required in order to keep the outer diameter of the secondary housing within the dimensions accepted by customers while at the same time having maximum accommodation space inside.
- the diameter of the secondary case (excluding attachments and crowns) should not exceed 42 mm for women and 46 mm for men.
- the individually configurable timepiece is realized in a unisex variant with a diameter of the secondary case (without add-on elements and crowns) of less than or equal to 41 mm.
- Yet another embodiment provides for the primary housing to have more than two distinct off-center recesses (511, 521) in the base of the secondary housing. This allows the position of the primary housing to be varied or the defined installation of multiple primary housings or multiple mounts for further creative elements.
- Another embodiment provides for the introduction of sealing materials into the joints between the upper part and the lower part of the secondary housing.
- Another further embodiment provides pushers on the outside of the secondary housing, which can be used to control clock functions either “by wire” or “wireless” in conjunction with analog or LCD displays.
- the position of the positioning element (1112) relative to the primary housing (111A) is variable.
- primary housings of different sizes can be positioned at any location within the secondary housing (112).
- the interchangeable lugs (1113) can also be used in conjunction with other types of positioning devices for the primary housing.
- a further embodiment provides for the cover glass (611, 6 ) to be executed as a touch screen film.
- a smartwatch module introduced into the secondary housing is positioned in such a way that its user interface is in direct contact with the touchscreen film (611). This means that the smartwatch module can be operated without opening the secondary housing.
- the primary housing can contain at least one electronic clockwork, which has analog pointer displays or LCD displays, and/or contain a mechanical clockwork, which has analog pointer displays or rotating discs with analog adjustable numbers.
- the secondary housing only two parts with a material volume greater than eight hundred and fifty cubic millimeters can form the secondary housing, these two parts are the lower part and upper part of the secondary housing including sight glass, with all other parts of the secondary housing having a material volume of less than eight hundred and fifty cubic millimeters.

wobei das Sekundärgehäuse - den Innenraum vollständig umschließt;
- werkzeuglos zu öffnen ist, um das Primärgehäuse und/oder Gestaltungselemente in den Innenraum einzubringen oder von dort zu entnehmen;
- ein Sichtglas aufweist;
- at least one primary case containing a movement and capable of functioning as a timepiece in its own right; and
- a secondary housing, which has an interior space for accommodating the primary housing and other design elements,
where the secondary housing - completely encloses the interior;
- can be opened without tools in order to insert or remove the primary housing and/or design elements from the interior;
- has a sight glass;
- Has means for fixing the primary housing at a selectable position in the interior.
In this context, "clockwork" is, as usual, summarized as the components inside a clock that are required for the generation and representation of a measure of time, e.g. gear train, drive and display in an (electro)mechanical clock, or electronic components in a clock electronic (quartz) clock. This differs from the housing, which houses the movement and protects it from mechanical influences. In particular, the fact that the primary case containing the movement "functions as a timepiece in its own right" means that it is self-contained mechanically (protected) and performs all the functions of a watch (measuring and displaying time). As a rule, the primary housing could therefore easily be worn by a user as a watch.
The fact that the secondary housing should be able to be opened "without tools" means that a user can open it (and preferably also close it again) by hand alone and without additional aids, with easier opening with the aid of tools obviously not being ruled out.
The sight glass is typically arranged in such a way that it allows the user to view the primary housing (and preferably its time display there) from the outside. Furthermore, design elements that were introduced into the secondary housing should also be visible through the sight glass.
The means for fixing the primary housing at a selectable position in the interior of the secondary housing can in principle be arbitrary and can include fixing by friction (e.g. clamping, fixing with magnetic forces), positive locking (e.g. accommodation in a pocket) or material connection (e.g. gluing). Preferably, the fixation should be (slightly) reversible and can be undone without leaving any residue or damage. The “selectable positions” can be discrete, that is to say fixed in a certain number, or they can be distributed continuously within the interior.
The central axes of the primary and secondary housings are optionally not identical. The central axis of a housing that is essentially cylindrical, for example, is defined by the cylinder axis. In the case of the primary housing, that is correct Central axis generally coincident with the axis of rotation of mechanical hour and minute hands (where fitted).
In a preferred embodiment, the secondary housing is composed of an upper part and a lower part, which can be opened or closed by a manual operation without tools. For example, the upper part and lower part can have an external thread or an internal thread in order to be able to be screwed together. They can preferably also be connected to one another in the manner of a bayonet.
According to a further development of the above embodiment, the upper part, including the sight glass, of the secondary housing can be rotated as desired around its central axis in the installed state, without a primary housing contained moving. The upper part is typically rotated relative to the lower part.
In the embodiment with an upper part and lower part, the upper part can optionally only be removed from the lower part by hand and without further aids after a preferably helical securing element has been removed. Without removing the securing element, the upper part and lower part remain coupled and cannot unintentionally become detached from one another. In this regard, it is also optional that the upper part (after removing the securing element) can be removed from the lower part by hand and without additional tools in only certain predetermined angular positions—preferably only in one to four angular positions.
In the embodiment with an upper part and lower part, the upper part and lower part of the secondary housing can also optionally have a plurality of groove sections on the outer circumference, preferably not divided symmetrically, which, starting from the central axis of symmetry of the secondary housing, alternate with one another on the circumference and add up to a single circumferential groove in order to Allow assembly of upper and lower part with a movement along the axis of symmetry.
The primary housing is generally advantageously shockproof and impervious to solid, liquid and gaseous media. The corresponding protection of the movement can then only be provided by the primary housing.
Furthermore, at least one optical element can be provided in the timepiece, which is attached eccentrically inside the secondary housing, can rotate about the vertical axis of the secondary housing, and can be locked in any angular position. The optical element can be a lens, for example, with which the user can view various objects in the interior of the secondary housing in an enlarged manner by rotating them.
The secondary case may also include bracelet lugs so that the timepiece can be worn as a wristwatch with a metal, leather, synthetic leather, rubber, or plastic bracelet.
In particular, the timepiece may have at least one bracelet lug that is reversibly attached or attachable to the secondary case. The advantage of this is that the freedom of individual design is further increased in that a secondary case can be optionally combined with different bracelet lugs. In addition or as an alternative, several types of connection between the bracelet attachment and the secondary housing can also be provided, for example through different positions of the connection between the bracelet attachment and the secondary housing, which offers further freedom of design. Furthermore, the ability to connect the bracelet attachment and the secondary housing separately usually also has advantages in terms of manufacturing technology.
Preferably, there are two bracelet lugs, both of which are reversibly connectable to the secondary housing.
There are various options for realizing the reversible connectivity between the bracelet lug and the secondary housing. For example, the bracelet lug could be screwed to the secondary housing by means of threads formed on it and/or by means of screws. In a preferred embodiment, the bracelet lug has an extension which can be inserted into a recess in the secondary housing and which can be locked in the secondary housing so that the bracelet lug can no longer unintentionally become detached from the secondary housing. The locking can take place in particular by force fit or by form fit.
In an embodiment of the secondary housing with an upper part and a lower part, the above-mentioned locking preferably takes place "automatically" by assembling the upper part and the lower part. For example, the continuation of the bracelet abutment could be clamped in a non-positive manner when the upper part and lower part were assembled. The locking advantageously takes place by means of a form fit, for example by the upper part engaging in a depression, groove or the like of the extension.
The timepiece may further include a positioning member connectable to the primary housing and effecting fixation of the primary housing within the secondary housing (i.e., serving as a means for fixing the primary housing at a selectable position within the interior of the secondary housing). In this case, the positioning element can act as a kind of adapter between the primary housing and the secondary housing, so that it becomes possible to fix different types and shapes of primary housing in the secondary housing.
The positioning element can be connected to the primary housing by gluing, for example. Additionally or alternatively, the positioning element can interact with the secondary housing in a form-fitting manner in order to fix the position of the primary housing. For example, the bottom of the secondary housing may have specially shaped indentations into which the Positioning element suitable (ie typically non-rotatable and / or non-displaceable) can be used.
The preferred embodiment of the timepiece is a wristwatch.

The timepiece should provide the watch wearer, the jewelery designer or the goldsmith with the largest possible accommodation space within the case for the introduction of individual design elements. This should extend to the interior of the secondary housing below the sight glass and not just relate to a groove on the outer circumference. The introduction of individual design elements should be possible without specialist watchmaker knowledge, without tools and without jeopardizing the function of the watch. The creation of a possibility to rotate the sight glass on the secondary housing around the vertical axis of the Twisting the secondary housing is also an option of the invention. This degree of freedom of rotation serves to achieve additional optical effects.
Furthermore, a minimization of the individual parts required and consequently the avoidance of complex mechanical elements is advantageous. The minimization is desirable in order to maximize the accommodation space in the secondary housing to be provided for the customization. Last but not least, the artistic trades, especially in the jewelry design and goldsmith trades, should also be provided with a large space for creative design and the introduction of professional work for their customers.
The
As shown, this can be implemented in such a way that the upper part and lower part each have an interrupted edge that protrudes radially inwards or outwards, with interruptions and edge pieces being arranged in a complementary manner. Accordingly, where the edge of the bottom has a break, the edge of the top has an edge piece and vice versa.
In a further embodiment, the two functions "securing the secondary housing against unintentional opening" and "fixing the degree of freedom of rotation from the upper part of the secondary housing" are divided between two screws. Alternative to the In further variants, screws can be used with other securing elements, such as pins.
In a preferred embodiment, the primary watch case is stationary in the secondary and is completely surrounded by the secondary watch case and all adjustment elements such as crowns and pushers are fixed solely to the primary watch case. It is therefore only possible to set the time and possibly the stopwatch functions after the secondary housing has been opened and the primary housing removed. Therefore, once the top of the secondary housing has been removed from the bottom of the secondary housing, the primary housing can be easily removed again and again.
In a further preferred embodiment, the primary housing is arranged eccentrically in the secondary housing. The upper part of the secondary watch case always has an unrestricted degree of freedom of rotation about its central axis after assembly. Optical effects can be produced in connection with the primary housing (111) arranged eccentrically and with optical elements, e.g. lenses, optical filters or prisms, also arranged eccentrically on the viewing glass (611) of the secondary housing. The view of the time or the view of individual elements can, for example, be enlarged by a lens with a positive number of diopters. Additional lighting elements installed in the interior, e.g. luminous foils or miniature light-emitting diodes, enhance the visual appearance.
In a further preferred embodiment, the watch wearer is provided with the largest possible accommodation space for individual adjustments in the secondary watch case. For this purpose, a primary housing takes up less than 50% and preferably less than 30% of the volume enclosed by the secondary housing. Furthermore, elements that minimize the receiving space, such as central rotary axes, have been completely dispensed with.
In another preferred embodiment, the secondary housing consists of no more than two parts, each having a volume greater than 1,000 (one thousand) cubic millimeters, preferably 500 (five hundred) cubic millimeters. The diameter of the secondary case (excluding attachments and crowns) should not exceed 42 mm for women and 46 mm for men.
In a further preferred embodiment, the individually configurable timepiece is realized in a unisex variant with a diameter of the secondary case (without add-on elements and crowns) of less than or equal to 41 mm.
Yet another embodiment provides for the primary housing to have more than two distinct off-center recesses (511, 521) in the base of the secondary housing. This allows the position of the primary housing to be varied or the defined installation of multiple primary housings or multiple mounts for further creative elements.
Another embodiment provides for the introduction of sealing materials into the joints between the upper part and the lower part of the secondary housing.
Another further embodiment provides pushers on the outside of the secondary housing, which can be used to control clock functions either "by wire" or "wireless" in conjunction with analog or LCD displays.

Fig. 14 ).
Unterteils 112B eingelegt (Fig. 15 ) - 4. Das in
Fig. 11 gezeigt Einlegeblech (1111) wird positioniert. - 5.

base 112B of the secondary case (detailed views of the slottedbase 112B of the secondary case with the lugs separated and assembled are shown in Figsfigures 12 and13 shown). - 2. The primary housing (111A) is joined into one unit with a heart-shaped locator (1112) prior to installation into the secondary housing (
14 ). Instead of the heart shape, the positioning element could also have other geometric shapes (preferably being non-circular in order to achieve non-rotatable positioning). - 3. The unit consisting of the primary housing (111A) and the heart-shaped positioning element (1112) is inserted into the heart-shaped recess in the bottom of the
lower part 112B (15 ) - 4. The in

In the embodiment described, the position of the positioning element (1112) relative to the primary housing (111A) is variable. In conjunction with a modification of the circular recess in the insert plate (1111), primary housings of different sizes can be positioned at any location within the secondary housing (112). The interchangeable lugs (1113) can also be used in conjunction with other types of positioning devices for the primary housing.
Furthermore, the primary housing can contain at least one electronic clockwork, which has analog pointer displays or LCD displays, and/or contain a mechanical clockwork, which has analog pointer displays or rotating discs with analog adjustable numbers.
Furthermore, only two parts with a material volume greater than eight hundred and fifty cubic millimeters can form the secondary housing, these two parts are the lower part and upper part of the secondary housing including sight glass, with all other parts of the secondary housing having a material volume of less than eight hundred and fifty cubic millimeters.
