Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a floor cleaning machine.
  • floor cleaning machines are known from the prior art.
  • floor cleaning machines have a machine frame and a chassis attached to the machine frame for moving the floor cleaning machine over a floor area to be cleaned.
  • floor cleaning machines can have a tank which is attached to the machine frame and in which a fresh water chamber and a dirty water chamber are provided.
  • the floor cleaning machine then usually has means to convey liquid from the fresh water chamber onto the floor surface to be cleaned.
  • the floor cleaning machine has means for conveying liquid from the floor area to be cleaned into the dirty water chamber.
  • a flexible partition wall can be provided, which allows the volumes of the fresh water chamber and the dirty water chamber to be changed.
  • the partition wall can be fixed between two container sections.
  • the attachment of the partition between the two container sections has proven to be comparatively complex, since the container has to be dismantled from the floor cleaning machine and the two container sections have to be detached from one another if the partition is to be replaced.
  • the floor cleaning machine has a machine frame and a chassis attached to the machine frame for moving the floor cleaning machine over a floor area to be cleaned.
  • the floor cleaning machine also has a tank which is attached to the machine frame and in which a fresh water chamber and a dirty water chamber are provided. Means are provided to convey liquid from the fresh water chamber onto the floor area to be cleaned. Means are also provided to convey liquid from the floor surface to be cleaned into the dirty water chamber.
  • the dirty water chamber has means for draining liquid out of the dirty water chamber.
  • the floor cleaning machine has a flexible membrane.
  • the membrane is attached to the wall of the tank at at least one point of attachment spaced vertically from a bottom surface of the tank such that the fresh water chamber and the dirty water chamber are separated from each other between the bottom surface of the tank and a horizontal plane passing through the point of attachment through the membrane are separated. Either the fresh water compartment surrounds the dirty water compartment or the dirty water compartment surrounds the fresh water compartment.
  • the membrane is attached, viewed in the vertical direction, below the point of attachment to the wall, preferably to the bottom surface, of the container such that an opening in the membrane and an opening in the wall of the container coincide so that liquid flows through the opening in the membrane and can flow through the opening in the wall of the container.
  • a filling tube is provided in the dirty water chamber, the filling tube having an inlet opening and an outlet opening which leads to the dirty water chamber, the outlet opening being arranged in the vertical direction below the inlet opening and means being provided to draw liquid from the floor surface to be cleaned into to promote the entrance opening.
  • the fill tube allows liquid to be fed into the dirty water chamber in a controlled manner.
  • means are provided to convey liquid from the fresh water chamber onto the floor surface to be cleaned.
  • the means can have a cleaning device of the floor cleaning machine, wherein the cleaning device can engage with the floor surface to be cleaned and can apply liquid, in particular fresh water, from the fresh water chamber to the floor surface to be cleaned.
  • the cleaning device can be connected to the fresh water chamber via a cleaning line, in particular a cleaning hose, of the floor cleaning machine, so that liquid can be brought from the fresh water chamber through the cleaning hose to the cleaning device and from there to the floor area to be cleaned.
  • the means can have, for example, a receiving device for liquid, which can be designed as a suction cup. Liquid, in particular dirty water, can be picked up from the floor surface to be cleaned with the pick-up device.
  • the receiving device can be connected to the dirty water chamber via a suction line, in particular a suction hose.
  • a negative pressure in relation to the pressure in the environment of the floor cleaning machine can be generated in the dirty water chamber with the aid of a suction device designed, for example, as a suction turbine. Due to this negative pressure, liquid, in particular dirty water, in the area of the receiving device can be drawn from the floor surface to be cleaned through the suction line into the dirty water chamber.
  • the dirty water chamber has means for draining liquid out of the dirty water chamber.
  • the container has an opening in its wall, for example in the bottom, which can also be referred to as a drain opening.
  • a drain line, in particular a drain hose, can be provided at the opening in the wall of the container, via which liquid, in particular dirty water, can be drained into a drain in the floor.
  • the membrane is still flexible. This flexibility of the membrane enables its shape to adapt to different filling states of the container.
  • the fresh water chamber can be filled with a comparatively large amount of liquid and the dirty water chamber can be filled with a comparatively small amount of liquid, which is often the case before the start of a cleaning trip.
  • the fresh water chamber can also be filled with a comparatively small amount of liquid and the dirty water chamber can be filled with a comparatively large amount of liquid, which is often the case after a cleaning run.
  • Both the fresh water chamber and the dirty water chamber can be filled with different amounts of liquid, with each combination of quantities of liquid in the fresh water chamber and the dirty water chamber being referred to as a fill level of the container.
  • each of these filling states of the container puts the membrane into a corresponding operating state.
  • the Deform membrane in the direction of the dirty water chamber, so that a comparatively large volume for the liquid can be provided in the fresh water chamber.
  • the membrane can conversely deform in the direction of the fresh water chamber, so that a comparatively large volume can be provided for the liquid in the dirty water chamber.
  • a volume section of the container can be used sequentially by both the fresh water chamber and the dirty water chamber.
  • the membrane is attached to the wall of the tank at at least one point of attachment spaced vertically from the bottom surface of the tank such that the fresh water chamber and the dirty water chamber are separated from each other between the bottom surface of the tank and a horizontal plane passing through the point of attachment through the membrane are separated.
  • the attachment of the membrane to the wall of the container can be made possible by a detachable connection between the membrane and the wall of the container, so that the membrane can be separated from the wall of the container and the membrane can be replaced.
  • the at least one attachment point is vertically spaced from the bottom surface of the container so that the flexible membrane can extend from the bottom surface of the container to the horizontal plane.
  • the fresh water chamber surrounds the dirty water chamber or the dirty water chamber surrounds the fresh water chamber. It is preferred that the fresh water chamber surrounds the dirty water chamber. If the fresh water chamber surrounds the dirty water chamber, the opening in the wall, preferably in the bottom surface, of the container can be referred to as a drain opening for the dirty water chamber.
  • a drain line in particular a drain hose, can be provided at the drain opening for the dirty water chamber, via which dirty water can be drained into a drain in the floor. If the dirty water chamber surrounds the fresh water chamber, the opening in the wall, preferably in the bottom surface, of the container can be referred to as a drain opening for the fresh water.
  • a drain line in particular a drain hose, can be provided at the drain opening for the fresh water, via which liquid can be drained from the fresh water chamber, for example to a cleaning device already described can.
  • the fresh water chamber can be completely emptied via the drain opening, for example to transport the floor cleaning machine.
  • the drain hose allows liquid to be drained in a controlled manner.
  • the attachment of the membrane to the wall of the container seen in the vertical direction below the attachment point can be made possible by a releasable connection between the membrane and the wall of the container, so that the membrane can be separated from the wall of the container and the membrane can be replaced.
  • the membrane is attached to the bottom surface of the container so that the membrane can extend from the bottom surface of the container to the horizontal plane.
  • the opening in the membrane and the opening in the wall of the container coincide.
  • the coincidence of the opening in the membrane and the opening in the wall can be achieved by overlapping the projections of the openings onto the horizontal plane.
  • the opening in the membrane can be larger than the opening in the wall.
  • the projection of the opening in the wall onto the horizontal plane can form a subset of the projection of the opening in the membrane onto the horizontal plane.
  • the opening in the membrane can also be smaller than the opening in the wall.
  • the projection of the opening in the membrane onto the horizontal plane can form a subset of the projection of the opening in the wall onto the horizontal plane.
  • the two projections preferably form at least one intersection, so that liquid can flow through the opening in the membrane and through the opening in the wall of the container.
  • replacing the membrane in the floor cleaning machine according to the invention is easier than is the case in the prior art. This is the case because the membrane is not held between two halves of the container, but is fixed on the one hand at the attachment point and on the other hand in the area of the opening on the wall of the container and can therefore be easily detached without dismantling the container.
  • the membrane which can form a partition between the fresh water chamber and the dirty water chamber, is fluid-tight.
  • the fluid-tight membrane ensures that the fresh water chamber and the dirty water chamber are separated from each other in a fluid-tight manner so that liquid cannot pass through the membrane either from the fresh water chamber into the dirty water chamber or from the dirty water chamber into the fresh water chamber.
  • At least one section of the membrane is formed from a fine-meshed fabric, so that liquid can flow from the dirty water chamber through the section of the membrane into the fresh water chamber.
  • the fine-meshed fabric can form a membrane filter, so that dirt, preferably coarse dirt and more preferably also fine dirt, is filtered out of the liquid as the liquid passes through the section of the membrane into the dirty water chamber.
  • the wall of the container has a wall flange to which the membrane is attached along a line that preferably runs in the horizontal plane. Attachment of the membrane to the wall flange may be enabled by a releasable connection between the membrane and the wall flange so that the membrane can be separated from the wall flange when the membrane needs to be replaced.
  • the wall flange offers a peripheral fastening option for the membrane, preferably in the horizontal plane, so that the membrane can separate the fresh water chamber and the dirty water chamber from one another, in particular in a fluid-tight manner, in an upper region of the membrane viewed in the vertical direction.
  • the bottom surface of the container has a bottom flange to which the membrane is attached along a line running in a bottom plane, and the bottom plane is preferably parallel to the horizontal plane.
  • the attachment of the membrane to the bottom flange can be made possible by a detachable connection between the membrane and the bottom flange, so that the membrane can be separated from the bottom flange when the membrane needs to be replaced.
  • the base flange offers a circumferential attachment option for the membrane in the base level, so that the membrane can separate the fresh water chamber and the dirty water chamber from one another, in particular in a fluid-tight manner, in a lower region of the membrane viewed in the vertical direction.
  • a floor cleaning machine is therefore provided with a machine frame, with a chassis attached to the machine frame for moving the floor cleaning machine over a floor area to be cleaned, with a container which is attached to the machine frame and in which a dirty water chamber is provided, wherein a filling tube is provided in the dirty water chamber, the filling tube having an inlet opening and an outlet opening which leads to the dirty water chamber, the outlet opening being arranged in the vertical direction below the inlet opening and means being provided to pump liquid from the floor surface to be cleaned into to promote the entrance opening.
  • the filling tube extends in the vertical direction in the dirty water chamber. Extending the fill tube in a vertical direction allows liquid to be directed in a controlled manner from a vertically upper portion of the container to a vertically lower portion of the container.
  • the floor cleaning machine has a first filter, the means for pumping liquid from the floor area to be cleaned into the dirty water chamber being designed in such a way that liquid is pumped from the floor area to be cleaned through the first filter to the inlet opening of the filling tube can be.
  • the first filter can be a coarse dirt filter, so that coarse dirt is filtered out of the liquid before the liquid enters the filling tube through the inlet opening.
  • Coarse dirt can have particles, for example, each of which has a smallest outer diameter of at least 0.1 or 0.5 cm.
  • a second filter is provided which is arranged so that liquid can be conveyed from the outlet opening of the filling tube through the second filter and into the dirty water chamber.
  • the second filter can be a fine filter so that fine dirt is filtered out of the liquid before the liquid enters the dirty water chamber.
  • Fine dirt can, for example, have particles of each particle having a minimum outside diameter of at least 0.01 or 0.1 cm. In particular, when the coarse dirt particles have a smallest outer diameter of at least 0.1 cm, the fine dirt particles have a smallest outer diameter of at least 0.01 cm. It is also preferred that when the coarse dirt particles have a smallest outer diameter of at least 0.5 cm, the fine dirt particles have a smallest outer diameter of at least 0.1 cm.
  • a riser is also provided, which is arranged in the waste water chamber and extends from the opening in the membrane and the opening in the wall of the container between an inlet opening provided on the riser and an outlet opening provided on the riser, wherein the outlet opening of the riser is arranged in the vertical direction above the inlet opening of the riser and wherein the riser can be moved between a closed position and an open position, wherein in the closed position the inlet opening of the riser is positioned in the opening in the membrane and the opening in the wall of the Container is arranged such that a fluid-tight connection is formed between these and the inlet opening of the riser pipe, and wherein in the open position the inlet opening is arranged at a distance from the opening in the membrane and the opening in the wall of the container.
  • the riser In the closed position, the riser allows liquid to be pumped through the riser into the dirty water chamber. In the open position, the riser allows liquid to be drained from the dirty water chamber, in particular due to the spacing of the inlet opening from the opening in the membrane and the opening in the wall of the container. Both the delivery of liquid into the dirty water chamber and the delivery of liquid from the dirty water chamber can take place within the opening in the membrane and the opening in the wall of the container. In the closed position, liquid can be conveyed from a suction hose through the inlet opening into the riser pipe and from there through the outlet opening into the dirty water chamber due to the negative pressure in the dirty water chamber. Description

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Bodenreinigungsmaschine. The present invention relates to a floor cleaning machine.

Floor cleaning machines are known from the prior art. For example, floor cleaning machines have a machine frame and a chassis attached to the machine frame for moving the floor cleaning machine over a floor area to be cleaned. In addition, floor cleaning machines can have a tank which is attached to the machine frame and in which a fresh water chamber and a dirty water chamber are provided. The floor cleaning machine then usually has means to convey liquid from the fresh water chamber onto the floor surface to be cleaned. In addition, the floor cleaning machine has means for conveying liquid from the floor area to be cleaned into the dirty water chamber.

In order to separate the fresh water chamber and the dirty water chamber from each other, a flexible partition wall can be provided, which allows the volumes of the fresh water chamber and the dirty water chamber to be changed. In particular, it can be achieved that during operation, when fresh water is applied to the floor area to be cleaned and the fresh water chamber is thus emptied, the volume of the dirty water chamber is simultaneously increased at the expense of the fresh water chamber. This in turn means that dirty water can be absorbed to the same extent as fresh water is discharged. With such a construction, the partition wall can be fixed between two container sections. However, the attachment of the partition between the two container sections has proven to be comparatively complex, since the container has to be dismantled from the floor cleaning machine and the two container sections have to be detached from one another if the partition is to be replaced.

For example show U.S. 2014/291330 A1 and DE 32 08 426 A1 each a container in which two separate chambers for water are provided.

It is the object of the present invention to provide a floor cleaning machine in which controlled filling of the dirty water chamber is possible.

According to the invention, this object is achieved by a floor cleaning machine having the features of claim 1.

The floor cleaning machine has a machine frame and a chassis attached to the machine frame for moving the floor cleaning machine over a floor area to be cleaned. The floor cleaning machine also has a tank which is attached to the machine frame and in which a fresh water chamber and a dirty water chamber are provided. Means are provided to convey liquid from the fresh water chamber onto the floor area to be cleaned. Means are also provided to convey liquid from the floor surface to be cleaned into the dirty water chamber. The dirty water chamber has means for draining liquid out of the dirty water chamber. In addition, the floor cleaning machine has a flexible membrane. The membrane is attached to the wall of the tank at at least one point of attachment spaced vertically from a bottom surface of the tank such that the fresh water chamber and the dirty water chamber are separated from each other between the bottom surface of the tank and a horizontal plane passing through the point of attachment through the membrane are separated. Either the fresh water compartment surrounds the dirty water compartment or the dirty water compartment surrounds the fresh water compartment. The membrane is attached, viewed in the vertical direction, below the point of attachment to the wall, preferably to the bottom surface, of the container such that an opening in the membrane and an opening in the wall of the container coincide so that liquid flows through the opening in the membrane and can flow through the opening in the wall of the container. Furthermore, a filling tube is provided in the dirty water chamber, the filling tube having an inlet opening and an outlet opening which leads to the dirty water chamber, the outlet opening being arranged in the vertical direction below the inlet opening and means being provided to draw liquid from the floor surface to be cleaned into to promote the entrance opening. The fill tube allows liquid to be fed into the dirty water chamber in a controlled manner.

Accordingly, according to the invention, means are provided to convey liquid from the fresh water chamber onto the floor surface to be cleaned. The means can have a cleaning device of the floor cleaning machine, wherein the cleaning device can engage with the floor surface to be cleaned and can apply liquid, in particular fresh water, from the fresh water chamber to the floor surface to be cleaned. The cleaning device can be connected to the fresh water chamber via a cleaning line, in particular a cleaning hose, of the floor cleaning machine, so that liquid can be brought from the fresh water chamber through the cleaning hose to the cleaning device and from there to the floor area to be cleaned.

In addition, means are thus provided according to the invention in order to convey liquid from the floor surface to be cleaned into the dirty water chamber. The means can have, for example, a receiving device for liquid, which can be designed as a suction cup. Liquid, in particular dirty water, can be picked up from the floor surface to be cleaned with the pick-up device. The receiving device can be connected to the dirty water chamber via a suction line, in particular a suction hose. A negative pressure in relation to the pressure in the environment of the floor cleaning machine can be generated in the dirty water chamber with the aid of a suction device designed, for example, as a suction turbine. Due to this negative pressure, liquid, in particular dirty water, in the area of the receiving device can be drawn from the floor surface to be cleaned through the suction line into the dirty water chamber.

The dirty water chamber has means for draining liquid out of the dirty water chamber. In particular, when the dirty water chamber is completely full, it is necessary to empty it. For example, the container has an opening in its wall, for example in the bottom, which can also be referred to as a drain opening. A drain line, in particular a drain hose, can be provided at the opening in the wall of the container, via which liquid, in particular dirty water, can be drained into a drain in the floor.

The membrane is still flexible. This flexibility of the membrane enables its shape to adapt to different filling states of the container. For example, the fresh water chamber can be filled with a comparatively large amount of liquid and the dirty water chamber can be filled with a comparatively small amount of liquid, which is often the case before the start of a cleaning trip. However, the fresh water chamber can also be filled with a comparatively small amount of liquid and the dirty water chamber can be filled with a comparatively large amount of liquid, which is often the case after a cleaning run. Both the fresh water chamber and the dirty water chamber can be filled with different amounts of liquid, with each combination of quantities of liquid in the fresh water chamber and the dirty water chamber being referred to as a fill level of the container. Each of these filling states of the container puts the membrane into a corresponding operating state. In the event that the fresh water chamber is filled with a comparatively large amount of liquid and the dirty water chamber is filled with a comparatively small amount of liquid, the Deform membrane in the direction of the dirty water chamber, so that a comparatively large volume for the liquid can be provided in the fresh water chamber. In the event that the fresh water chamber is filled with comparatively little liquid and the dirty water chamber is filled with a comparatively large amount of liquid, the membrane can conversely deform in the direction of the fresh water chamber, so that a comparatively large volume can be provided for the liquid in the dirty water chamber. Thus, a volume section of the container can be used sequentially by both the fresh water chamber and the dirty water chamber.

The membrane is attached to the wall of the tank at at least one point of attachment spaced vertically from the bottom surface of the tank such that the fresh water chamber and the dirty water chamber are separated from each other between the bottom surface of the tank and a horizontal plane passing through the point of attachment through the membrane are separated. The attachment of the membrane to the wall of the container can be made possible by a detachable connection between the membrane and the wall of the container, so that the membrane can be separated from the wall of the container and the membrane can be replaced. The at least one attachment point is vertically spaced from the bottom surface of the container so that the flexible membrane can extend from the bottom surface of the container to the horizontal plane.

Either the fresh water chamber surrounds the dirty water chamber or the dirty water chamber surrounds the fresh water chamber. It is preferred that the fresh water chamber surrounds the dirty water chamber. If the fresh water chamber surrounds the dirty water chamber, the opening in the wall, preferably in the bottom surface, of the container can be referred to as a drain opening for the dirty water chamber. A drain line, in particular a drain hose, can be provided at the drain opening for the dirty water chamber, via which dirty water can be drained into a drain in the floor. If the dirty water chamber surrounds the fresh water chamber, the opening in the wall, preferably in the bottom surface, of the container can be referred to as a drain opening for the fresh water. A drain line, in particular a drain hose, can be provided at the drain opening for the fresh water, via which liquid can be drained from the fresh water chamber, for example to a cleaning device already described can. Alternatively, the fresh water chamber can be completely emptied via the drain opening, for example to transport the floor cleaning machine. The drain hose allows liquid to be drained in a controlled manner.

The attachment of the membrane to the wall of the container seen in the vertical direction below the attachment point can be made possible by a releasable connection between the membrane and the wall of the container, so that the membrane can be separated from the wall of the container and the membrane can be replaced.

Preferably, the membrane is attached to the bottom surface of the container so that the membrane can extend from the bottom surface of the container to the horizontal plane. The opening in the membrane and the opening in the wall of the container coincide. The coincidence of the opening in the membrane and the opening in the wall can be achieved by overlapping the projections of the openings onto the horizontal plane. The opening in the membrane can be larger than the opening in the wall. In this case, the projection of the opening in the wall onto the horizontal plane can form a subset of the projection of the opening in the membrane onto the horizontal plane. The opening in the membrane can also be smaller than the opening in the wall. In this case, the projection of the opening in the membrane onto the horizontal plane can form a subset of the projection of the opening in the wall onto the horizontal plane. The two projections preferably form at least one intersection, so that liquid can flow through the opening in the membrane and through the opening in the wall of the container.

In summary, it can be stated that replacing the membrane in the floor cleaning machine according to the invention is easier than is the case in the prior art. This is the case because the membrane is not held between two halves of the container, but is fixed on the one hand at the attachment point and on the other hand in the area of the opening on the wall of the container and can therefore be easily detached without dismantling the container.

In a preferred embodiment, the membrane, which can form a partition between the fresh water chamber and the dirty water chamber, is fluid-tight. The fluid-tight membrane ensures that the fresh water chamber and the dirty water chamber are separated from each other in a fluid-tight manner so that liquid cannot pass through the membrane either from the fresh water chamber into the dirty water chamber or from the dirty water chamber into the fresh water chamber.

In a further preferred embodiment, at least one section of the membrane is formed from a fine-meshed fabric, so that liquid can flow from the dirty water chamber through the section of the membrane into the fresh water chamber. The fine-meshed fabric can form a membrane filter, so that dirt, preferably coarse dirt and more preferably also fine dirt, is filtered out of the liquid as the liquid passes through the section of the membrane into the dirty water chamber.

In a preferred embodiment, the wall of the container has a wall flange to which the membrane is attached along a line that preferably runs in the horizontal plane. Attachment of the membrane to the wall flange may be enabled by a releasable connection between the membrane and the wall flange so that the membrane can be separated from the wall flange when the membrane needs to be replaced. The wall flange offers a peripheral fastening option for the membrane, preferably in the horizontal plane, so that the membrane can separate the fresh water chamber and the dirty water chamber from one another, in particular in a fluid-tight manner, in an upper region of the membrane viewed in the vertical direction.

In a further preferred embodiment, the bottom surface of the container has a bottom flange to which the membrane is attached along a line running in a bottom plane, and the bottom plane is preferably parallel to the horizontal plane. The attachment of the membrane to the bottom flange can be made possible by a detachable connection between the membrane and the bottom flange, so that the membrane can be separated from the bottom flange when the membrane needs to be replaced. The base flange offers a circumferential attachment option for the membrane in the base level, so that the membrane can separate the fresh water chamber and the dirty water chamber from one another, in particular in a fluid-tight manner, in a lower region of the membrane viewed in the vertical direction.

According to the invention, a filling tube is provided in the dirty water chamber, the filling tube having an inlet opening and an outlet opening which leads to the dirty water chamber, the outlet opening being arranged in the vertical direction below the inlet opening and means being provided to draw liquid from the floor surface to be cleaned into to promote the entrance opening. The fill tube allows liquid to be fed into the dirty water chamber in a controlled manner. According to the independent aspect of the present invention, a floor cleaning machine is therefore provided with a machine frame, with a chassis attached to the machine frame for moving the floor cleaning machine over a floor area to be cleaned, with a container which is attached to the machine frame and in which a dirty water chamber is provided, wherein a filling tube is provided in the dirty water chamber, the filling tube having an inlet opening and an outlet opening which leads to the dirty water chamber, the outlet opening being arranged in the vertical direction below the inlet opening and means being provided to pump liquid from the floor surface to be cleaned into to promote the entrance opening.

In one embodiment, the filling tube extends in the vertical direction in the dirty water chamber. Extending the fill tube in a vertical direction allows liquid to be directed in a controlled manner from a vertically upper portion of the container to a vertically lower portion of the container.

In one embodiment, the floor cleaning machine has a first filter, the means for pumping liquid from the floor area to be cleaned into the dirty water chamber being designed in such a way that liquid is pumped from the floor area to be cleaned through the first filter to the inlet opening of the filling tube can be. The first filter can be a coarse dirt filter, so that coarse dirt is filtered out of the liquid before the liquid enters the filling tube through the inlet opening. Coarse dirt can have particles, for example, each of which has a smallest outer diameter of at least 0.1 or 0.5 cm.

In one embodiment, a second filter is provided which is arranged so that liquid can be conveyed from the outlet opening of the filling tube through the second filter and into the dirty water chamber. The second filter can be a fine filter so that fine dirt is filtered out of the liquid before the liquid enters the dirty water chamber. Fine dirt can, for example, have particles of each particle having a minimum outside diameter of at least 0.01 or 0.1 cm.

In a further embodiment, a riser is also provided, which is arranged in the waste water chamber and extends from the opening in the membrane and the opening in the wall of the container between an inlet opening provided on the riser and an outlet opening provided on the riser, wherein the outlet opening of the riser is arranged in the vertical direction above the inlet opening of the riser and wherein the riser can be moved between a closed position and an open position, wherein in the closed position the inlet opening of the riser is positioned in the opening in the membrane and the opening in the wall of the Container is arranged such that a fluid-tight connection is formed between these and the inlet opening of the riser pipe, and wherein in the open position the inlet opening is arranged at a distance from the opening in the membrane and the opening in the wall of the container. In the closed position, the riser allows liquid to be pumped through the riser into the dirty water chamber. In the open position, liquid can be drained from the dirty water chamber through the suction hose. The suction hose can therefore also be used as a drain hose.

In a further embodiment, the opening in the wall of the container is connected to a discharge hose which has an outlet section with an outlet opening, the outlet section being attachable to a holding device of the floor cleaning machine such that the horizontal plane intersects the outlet section of the discharge hose. When the outlet section is attached to the holding device of the floor cleaning machine, no liquid escapes from the opening in the wall of the container, even if the opening in the wall of the container is not closed.

The floor cleaning machine 1 has a machine frame 3 and a chassis 5 attached to the machine frame 3 for moving the floor cleaning machine 1 over a floor area 7 to be cleaned. The floor cleaning machine 1 has a container 9 which is attached to the machine frame 3 . A cover element 11 is provided on the container 9, which can be detachably connected to the container 9 and covers the container 9 from above.

In the container 9 a fresh water chamber 13 and a dirty water chamber 15 are provided. The fresh water chamber 13 and the dirty water chamber 15 are separated from one another in a fluid-tight manner by a flexible membrane 17 . Alternatively, it is also conceivable that the membrane 17 is formed at least in sections or completely from a fine-meshed fabric, so that liquid can flow from the dirty water chamber 15 through the fine-meshed section of the membrane 17 into the fresh water chamber 13, but dirt contained in the liquid on the fine-meshed section is filtered off.

In the exemplary embodiment described here, however, the membrane 17 is designed to be fluid-tight in order to ensure the fluid-tight separation of the fresh water chamber 13 and the dirty water chamber 15 from one another. in the in figure 2 illustrated embodiment, the fresh water chamber 13 surrounds the dirty water chamber 15. However, it can also be provided that the dirty water chamber 15 surrounds the fresh water chamber 13.

There is an opening 19 in the membrane 17. There is also an opening 21 in the wall of the container 9. The opening 19 in the membrane 17 and the opening 21 in the wall of the container 9 coincide, so that liquid passes through the opening 19 in the membrane 17 and can flow through the opening 21 in the wall of the container 9.

The membrane 17 is attached to the wall of the container 9 in at least one attachment point 23 . The attachment point 23 is spaced from a bottom surface 27 of the container 9 in the vertical direction 25 . The membrane 17 is attached to the wall of the container 9 at the attachment point 23, so that the fresh water chamber 13 and the dirty water chamber 15 are separated from one another in a fluid-tight manner by the membrane 17 between the bottom surface 27 of the container 9 and a horizontal plane 29 running through the attachment point 23.

At the in figure 2 In the illustrated embodiment, the wall of the container 9 has a wall flange 31 to which the membrane 17 is fastened along a line that preferably runs around the horizontal plane 29 . The membrane 17 is clamped between the wall flange 31 and an upper fastening means 33, which can be designed as sheet metal. The upper fastening means 33 is connected to the wall flange 31 by means of screws 35 so that the membrane 17 is clamped between the wall flange 31 and the upper fastening means 33 in the horizontal plane 29 in a circumferential manner.

The membrane 17 is attached to the bottom surface 27 of the container 9 below the attachment point 23 or the wall flange 31, viewed in the vertical direction 25, in such a way that the opening 19 in the membrane 17 and the opening 21 in the wall of the container 9 coincide, so that Liquid can flow through the opening 19 in the membrane 17 and through the opening 21 in the wall of the container 9. The bottom surface 27 of the container 9 has a bottom flange 37 to which the membrane 17 is attached along a line running in a bottom plane 39 . The bottom plane 39 runs parallel to the horizontal plane 29. The membrane 17 is clamped between the bottom flange 37 and a lower fastening means 41, which can also be designed as sheet metal. The lower fastening means 41 is connected to the bottom flange 37 by means of screws 35 so that the membrane 17 is clamped between the bottom flange 37 and the lower fastening means 41 in the floor plane 39 all around.

By loosening the screws 35, both the wall flange 31 and the upper fastening means 33 and the bottom flange 37 and the lower fastening means 41 can be detached from one another, so that the membrane 17 can be detached from its mounted position and replaced.

The opening 21 in the wall of the container 9 is connected to a drain hose 43 so that liquid can flow through the opening 21 in the wall of the container 9 and into the drain hose 43 . The drain hose 43 is connected to the container 9 with a closure element 45 , which is designed here as a cover, in particular via an internal thread provided on the closure element 45 and an external thread provided on the container 9 . The lower attachment means 41, the drain hose 43 and the closure member 45 can be regarded as means of the dirty water chamber 15, which are designed to drain liquid from the dirty water chamber 15 out.

In figure 2 a suction hose 47 is shown with an outlet opening 49 so that liquid can be conveyed from the floor surface 7 to be cleaned into the dirty water chamber 15 . The suction hose 47 can be viewed as a means provided to convey liquid from the floor surface 7 to be cleaned into the dirty water chamber 15 . In particular, a negative pressure can be generated in the dirty water chamber 15 so that liquid is conveyed or sucked through the suction hose 47 into the dirty water chamber 15 .

In figure 2 the fresh water chamber 13 is filled with comparatively little liquid and the dirty water chamber 15 is filled with comparatively much liquid. In figure 3 the fresh water chamber 13 is filled with a comparatively large amount of liquid and the dirty water chamber 15 is filled with a comparatively small amount of liquid. The membrane 17 is designed to be flexible, and the flexible design of the membrane 17 means that it can be deformed so that a volume section of the container 9 can be used by both the fresh water chamber 13 and the dirty water chamber 15 in succession. In particular, the volume of the dirty water chamber 15 can increase at the expense of the volume of the fresh water chamber 13 .

Die Austrittsöffnung 55 der Steigleitung 51 ist in der vertikalen Richtung 25 oberhalb der Eintrittsöffnung 53 der Steigleitung 51 angeordnet. figure 4 shows a schematic sectional view of a second embodiment of the container 9 of the floor cleaning machine 1 figure 1 , wherein a riser 51 with a Inlet opening 53 and an outlet opening 55 is arranged in the dirty water chamber 15 . The riser 51 extends from the opening 19 in the membrane 17 and the opening 21 in the wall of the container 9 between the inlet opening 53 provided on the riser 51 and the outlet opening 55 provided on the riser 51. The outlet opening 55 of the riser 51 is in the vertical direction 25 above the inlet opening 53 of the riser 51 is arranged.

The riser 51 can be moved between a closed position and an open position. In the closed position, the inlet opening 53 of the riser 51 is arranged in the opening 19 in the membrane 17 and the opening 21 in the wall of the container 9 such that a fluid-tight connection between these and the inlet opening 53 of the riser 51 is formed. In the open position, the inlet opening 53 is arranged at a distance from the opening 19 in the membrane 17 and the opening 21 in the wall of the container 9 . A suction hose 43 is connected to the opening 21 in the wall of the container 9 . In the closed position, liquid can be conveyed from the suction hose 47 through the inlet opening 53 into the riser pipe 51 and from there through the outlet opening 55 into the dirty water chamber 15 due to the negative pressure in the dirty water chamber 15 . In the open position, liquid can be drained from the dirty water chamber 15 through the suction hose 47 . The suction hose 47 can therefore also be used as a drain hose 43 .

Figures 5 a), b) and c ) show sectional views of a third embodiment of the container 9 of the floor cleaning machine 1 from FIG figure 1 , wherein different filling states of the container 9 are shown. These different filling states of the container 9 put the flexible membrane 17 in different operating states. In figure 5 a) the fresh water chamber 13 is filled with a comparatively large amount of liquid and the dirty water chamber 15 is filled with a comparatively small amount of liquid. The flexible membrane 17 is deformed in the direction of the dirty water chamber 15 so that a comparatively large volume can be provided for the liquid in the fresh water chamber 13 . This operating state of the membrane 17 is often reached before a cleaning trip when there is still no liquid in the dirty water chamber 15 and the fresh water chamber 13 is still filled with liquid. In Figure 5 b) the fresh water chamber 13 and the dirty water chamber 15 are filled with approximately the same amount of liquid. This operating state of the membrane 17 is often reached during a cleaning trip. In Figure 5 c) is the fresh water chamber 13 with comparatively little liquid filled and the dirty water chamber 15 is filled with a comparatively large amount of liquid. The membrane 17 is deformed in the direction of the fresh water chamber 13 so that a comparatively large volume can be provided for the liquid in the dirty water chamber 15 . This operating state of the membrane 17 is often reached after a cleaning trip when there is hardly any liquid left in the fresh water chamber 13 and the dirty water chamber 15 is already filled with liquid.
