Abstract
Description
- The invention relates to a spinning unit of a rotor spinning machine comprising an opening roller arranged in a cavity of an opening device, whereby between the surface of the circumference of the opening roller and the circumferential wall of the cavity of the opening device, a channel for the transport of opened fibers is formed, into which a fiber sliver inlet opening opens in the direction of the opening roller rotation, a cleaning opening, which is connected to a channel for removing trash from the transport channel, and a fiber outlet opening, which is connected by a fiber outlet channel to a chamber of a spinning rotor.
- In addition, the invention relates to a component of the spinning unit.
-
discloses a spinning unit of a rotor spinning machine, which comprises an opening roller arranged in a cavity of the spinning unit body. Between the surface of the circumference of the opening roller and the inner surface of the cavity of the body, is formed a transport channel of opened fibers which are opened by the opening roller from a sliver supplied by a sliver feeding device, whereby the opened fibers are transported by the opening roller along a trash removal channel as far as to the mouth of the feeding channel of the opened fibers to the spinning rotor. The inner surface of the cavity of the spinning unit body surrounds the opening roller and together with the opening roller constitutes a transport channel. The inner surface of the cavity is in the section from the sliver feeding device as far as behind the fiber feeding channel into the spinning rotor formed on the front side of a pair of bodies which are replaceably mounted on the spinning unit body. These bodies, in particular in the direction from the sliver feeding device, first a guiding body with the trash removal channel and then a separating body with the feeding channel of opened fibers to the spinning rotor, situated downstream of the guiding body, are known as such, for example, from CZ UV 5537, CZ UV 5599,CZ 286 088 and others.CZ 299259 - The disadvantage of these solutions is that formation of such a fiber transport channel, wherein the entire respective part of the wall surrounding the opening roller and the corresponding channel are formed in removable bodies, places high demands on material. Since the leading edges of the channels are exposed to the greatest wear and the other parts of the respective body have a much longer service life, the replacement of the respective body is materially and time consuming. Furthermore, it is equally disadvantageous if it is necessary to change the size and/or the shape and/or the profile of the respective channel in the respective body, because the size and/or the shape and/or the profile of the channel is highly dependent on the fiber material being processed and its purity upon entering the spinning unit. Finally, replacement of the known spinning unit bodies requires a relatively large mounting space with respect to the dimensions of the spinning unit.
- The object of the invention is therefore to eliminate or at least reduce the disadvantages of the background art.
- The object of the invention is achieved by a spinning unit of a rotor spinning machine, whose principle consists in that the circumferential wall of a cavity of an opening device completely encloses the cavity of the opening device, whereby only in the area of a cleaning opening and/or an outlet opening it is formed by a front wall of a body which is removably and tightly inserted into a gap in the circumferential wall, wherein the front wall of the body, at its front and rear ends, is connected to the adjacent fixed portions of the circumferential wall of the opening device.
- This solution allows easy, time-saving and inexpensive replacement of the body either to restore the characteristics of the spinning unit or to adjust or change the characteristics of the spinning unit depending on the material being processed, its purity, density, the length of individual fibers, etc.
- To facilitate replaceability and interchangeability, the body has a lower and upper surfaces which stay in alignment with the adjacent components of the spinning unit, wherein the side surfaces of the body by which the body abuts the adjacent surfaces of the body of the opening device are in the region of the circumferential wall of the opening device situated relative to the opening roller in the direction of chords or radials.
- In order to form the whole oblique channel in the body, it is advantageous if the rear lateral surface is spaced from the circumferential wall of the opening device from the originally chord or radial direction relative to the opening roller and diverted away from the central part of the body to provide space for the whole oblique channel.
- To facilitate deep positioning of the body relative to the other parts of the spinning unit, the body is provided with abutment edges on its rear side along its height.
- From the point of view of easy access to the mutually interchangeable bodies in the spinning unit, it is advantageous if to the opening device are assigned at least two bodies having the same outer dimensions and the same outer shape and having a different size and/or shape of the cleaning or outlet opening or two bodies having a different size, shape, cross-section, channel inclination and/or having a different surface finish and/or made of a different material.
- From the material and production point of view, it is advantageous according to one embodiment if the body has an angular length of the front wall in the range of 15° to 80°.
- It is also advantageous from the material and production point of view if the total size of the area of the cleaning or outlet opening of the body is in the range from 20 % do 80 % of the total area of its front wall.
- According to one embodiment, the opening of the body has a front edge which is arranged at the level of the front side of the body and at the same time it is situated at an angular distance from the front end of the front wall of the body. This is particularly advantageous for processing fibrous materials with a low trash content.
- According to another embodiment, the opening of the body has a front edge which is arranged at the level of the front end of the front side of the body and at the same time is situated at the front end of the front side of the body at zero angular distance from the front end of the front side of the body, which is particularly advantageous for more effective trash removal from fibrous materials.
- According to yet another embodiment, the opening of the body has a front edge which is disposed at a distance from the level of the front wall of the body and at the same time at a distance from the level of the front end of the front wall of the body, forming a step extension of the channel. This is particularly advantageous for increased trash removal from fibrous materials having a high trash content.
- It is advantageous if the body is a cleaning body or an output body.
- The principle of a component of a spinning unit of a rotor spinning machine in the form of a separately supplied component, for example a spare part or an accessory part, consists in the fact that it is formed by a body which is adapted to be removably and tightly inserted into a gap in the circumferential wall, whereby the front wall of the body is at its front and rear ends adapted to join the adjacent fixed portion of the circumferential wall of the opening device. In this case, it is advantageous if the component consists of a cleaning body or an output body.
- The invention is schematically represented in the drawing, wherein
Fig. 1 shows an arrangement of the spinning unit according to one embodiment of the invention,Fig. 2 shows an arrangement of the spinning unit according to an embodiment of the invention with a removed opening roller,Fig. 3 shows an exploded view of an arrangement of the spinning unit according to one embodiment of the invention;Fig. 4 shows an example of the cleaning body according to the invention;Fig. 5 shows an example of the output body according to the invention;Fig. 6a is a plan view of another embodiment of the body according to the invention; - A rotor spinning machine comprises at least one row of identical workstations, whereby each workstation comprises a spinning unit in which yarn is formed from a supplied sliver, the yarn being withdrawn from the spinning unit or from the spinning rotor by a draw-off
tube 4 and wound onto a bobbin. - The spinning unit comprises a
sliver feeding device 1, which is assigned to anopening device 2 of fibers. Theopening device 2 serves to open the fibers from the sliver as well as to transport the opened fibers to achamber 3 of the spinning rotor. - The
sliver feeding device 1 comprises a feedingroller 10 coupled to a drive and an unillustrated sliver feeding table, also called a sliver condenser, assigned to a feedingroller 10. - The
opening device 2 comprises anopening roller 20, which is rotatably mounted in acavity 21 created in the body of the spinning unit. The cylindrical surface of the openingroller 20 is provided with an unillustrated working cover consisting of teeth or needles by which the individual fibers are pulled from the sliver in the area of thesliver feeding device 1 and are conveyed to thechamber 3 of the spinning rotor through atransport channel 22 formed by thecircumferential wall 23 of theopening device 2 around the cylindrical working cover of the openingroller 20. - The
cavity 21 of theopening device 2 may be from the upper side closed by an unillustrated lid, e.g., by a lid of the spinning unit or a separate lid, etc. - A
sliver feeding opening 230 into theopening device 2 is formed in thecircumferential wall 23 of theopening device 2, in the area of thesliver feeding device 1. - In the direction X downstream of the
inlet opening 230, acleaning opening 231 is formed in theperipheral wall 23 of theopening device 2, which opens into achannel 24 for removing trash from thetransport channel 22, i.e. the trash released from the fibers by opening by the openingroller 20 and by the transport of these fibers through thetransport channel 22 to thechamber 3 of the spinning rotor. Thetrash removal channel 24 from thetransport channel 22 opens into avacuum channel 5, which is connected in a known manner to an unillustrated source of vacuum. - In the direction X downstream of the
cleaning opening 231, afiber outlet opening 232 is formed in thecircumferential wall 23 of theopening device 2. Thefiber outlet opening 232 opens into anoutlet channel 25 of the opened and trash-free fibers to thechamber 3 of the spinning rotor. - The
circumferential wall 23 of theopening device 2 continues along the openingroller 20 as far as to the inlet opening 230 of sliver in the direction X downstream of thefiber outlet opening 232. Thus, the entire circumference of the openingroller 20 is surrounded by thecircumferential wall 23 of theopening device 2 with the 230, 231, 232.respective openings - The
cleaning opening 231, together with thetrash removal channel 24 from thetransport channel 22, is formed in aseparate cleaning body 6, which is tightly inserted into thegap 26 in thecircumferential wall 23, whereby thefront wall 60 of thecleaning body 6 forms in this inserted position a part of thecircumferential wall 23 of theopening device 2. At its front and 600, 601, therear ends circumferential wall 23 smoothly joins the adjacent fixedparts 233, 234 of thecircumferential wall 23 of theopening device 2. Thecleaning body 6 is secured, e.g. with a screw, to the body of the spinning unit. The lower and 602, 603 of theupper surfaces cleaning body 6 stay in alignment with the adjacent components of the spinning unit, i.e. the body of the unit and the lid of theopening device 2. The lateral surfaces 604, 605 of thecleaning body 6 by which thecleaning body 6 abuts the adjacent surfaces of the body of the spinning unit are in the region away from thecircumferential wall 23 of theopening device 2 situated in chord or radial direction relative to theopening roller 20, whereby, inFig. 3 , the rearlateral surface 605 is at a distance from thecircumferential wall 23 of theopening device 2 deflected from the originally chord or radial direction relative to theopening roller 20 away from the central part of thecleaning body 6, thereby creating a space in the volume of thecleaning body 6 for accommodating the whole obliquetrash removal channel 24 in thecleaning body 6, with the desired dimensions and geometry of thetrash removal channel 24. On the rear side of thecleaning body 6, along the height of thecleaning body 6, are arranged abutment edges 61, which determine the extent of insertion of thecleaning body 6 into thegap 26 and thereby also the position of thecleaning body 6 and itsfront wall 60 relative to the other parts of theopening device 2. Due to itsfront wall 60, rear wall, 604, 605 and lower andlateral surfaces 602, 603, theupper surfaces cleaning body 6 has precisely the desired shape and dimensions which allow thecleaning body 6 to be repeatedly removed from and inserted into theopening device 2. The size and shape of thecleaning opening 231 and the size, shape, cross-section and inclination of thetrash removal channel 24 formed in thecleaning body 6 are determined by the characteristics of the fibrous material being processed. - Preferably, at least two cleaning
bodies 6 are assigned to one spinning unit, whereby the twocleaning bodies 6 have the same outer dimensions and the same outer shape, but differ in the size and/or shape of thecleaning opening 231 and/or the twocleaning bodies 6 differ in size, cross-section, inclination of thetrash removal channel 24 and/or the twocleaning bodies 6 have a different finish and/or the twocleaning bodies 6 are made of a different material. Since such acleaning body 6 is relatively small and manufactured with sufficient precision, it is also easily replaceable not only with a new, unworn cleaning body with thesame cleaning opening 231 and with the sametrash removal channel 24, but, in case of need, it can be replaced with acleaning body 6 with adifferent cleaning opening 231 and/or a differenttrash removal channel 24 and/or with acleaning body 6 with a different finish and/or made of a different material. The outer dimensions and the shape of thecleaning body 6 are always the same. Theseadditional cleaning bodies 6 constitute the accessories of the spinning unit for different types of the fibrous material being processed and/or materials with different trash content. The circumferential angle α of thefront wall 60 of thecleaning body 6 is in the range from 20 ° to 45°. The total surface area of the cleaning opening 231 constitutes 20 to 80 % of the total area of thefront wall 60 of thecleaning body 6. - As shown in
Fig. 6a , thefront edge 2310 of the cleaning opening 231 is arranged at the level of thefront wall 60 of thecleaning body 6 and at the same time it is situated at an angular distance α1 form thefront end 600 of thefront wall 60 of thecleaning body 6. - As shown in
Fig. 6b , thefront edge 2310 of thecleaning opening 231 is arranged at the level of thefront wall 60 of thecleaning body 6 and at the same time it is situated at the level of thefront end 600 of thefront wall 60 of thecleaning body 6, so that the angular distance α1 according toFig. 6b equals 0 (zero). - As shown in
Fig. 6c , thefront edge 2310 of thecleaning opening 231 is arranged at a distance Z from the level of thefront wall 60 of thecleaning body 6 and at the same time also at a distance from the level of thefront end 600 of thefront wall 60 of thecleaning body 6, thereby forming here a step extension of thetrash removal channel 24. - In the exemplary embodiment shown, also the
fiber outlet opening 232 and theoutlet channel 25 of the opened trash-free fibers are provided in aseparate output body 7, which is tightly inserted into thegap 27 in thecircumferential wall 23, whereby thefront wall 70 of theoutput body 7 forms in this inserted position a part of thecircumferential wall 23 of theopening device 2, which by its 700, 701 is smoothly connected to the adjacent fixedends 235, 236 of theparts circumferential wall 23 of theopening device 2. Theoutput body 7 is secured, e.g., with a screw, to the body of the spinning unit. The lower and 702, 703 of theupper surfaces output body 7 stay in alignment with the adjacent parts of the spinning unit, i.e. with the body of the unit and the lid of theopening device 2. The lateral surfaces 704, 705 of theoutput body 7, by which theoutput body 7 abuts the adjacent areas of the body of the spinning unit are in the area away from thecircumferential wall 23 of theopening device 2 situated relative to theopening roller 20 in the chord and radial direction, whereby, inFig. 3 , the rearlateral surface 705, at a distance from thecircumferential wall 23 of theopening device 2, continues in the form of the walls of the obliquefiber outlet channel 25 formed in the volume of theoutput body 7, with the desired dimensions and geometry of thefiber outlet channel 25. Abutment edges 71 are arranged on the rear side of theoutput body 7 along the height of theoutput body 7. The abutment edges 71 determine the extent of insertion of theoutput body 7 into thegap 27 and thereby also the position of theoutput body 7 and its thefront wall 70 relative to the other parts of theopening device 2. Due to itsfront wall 70, rear wall, 704, 705 and lower andlateral surfaces upper surfaces 702, theoutput body 7 has 703 exactly the desired shape and dimensions which allow theoutput body 7 to be repeatedly removed from and inserted into theopening device 2. The size and shape of theoutlet opening 232 and the size, shape, cross-section and inclination of thefiber outlet channel 25 in theoutput body 7 are determined by the characteristics of the processed fibrous material. - Preferably, at least two
outlet bodies 7 are assigned to one spinning unit, whereby theoutlet bodies 7 have the same outer dimensions and the same outer shape, but differ in size and/or shape of theoutlet opening 232 and/or theoutput bodies 7 differ in size, shape, cross-section, inclination of thefiber outlet channel 25 and/or theoutlet bodies 7 have a different finish and/or are made of a different material. Since thisoutput body 7 is relatively small and manufactured with sufficient precision, it is also easily replaceable not only with a new, unworn output body 7 with thesame outlet opening 232 and the samefiber outlet channel 25, but, if necessary, it is replaceable also with anoutput body 7 with adifferent outlet opening 232 with anoutput body 7 with a differentfiber outlet channel 25 or with anoutput body 7 with a different finish or with anoutput body 7 made of a different material. The outer dimensions and shape of theoutput body 7 are always the same. Theseadditional output bodies 7 then constitute the accessories of the spinning unit for different types of the fibrous material being processed. The angular length β of thefront wall 70 of theoutput body 7 is in the range from 15° to 30°. The total surface area of theoutlet opening 232 constitute 20 to 80 % of the total area of thefront wall 70 of theoutput body 7. - In the illustrated embodiments, the
front edge 2320 of theoutlet opening 232 is arranged at the level of thefront wall 70 of theoutput body 7 and at the same time it is situated at an angular distance β1 from thefront end 700 of thefront wall 70 of theoutput body 7. - In an embodiment (not shown), the
front edge 2320 of theoutlet opening 232 is disposed at the level of thefront wall 70 of theoutput body 7 and at the same time it is situated at the level of thefront end 700 of thefront wall 70 of theoutput body 7 so that the angular distance β1 equals 0 (zero). - In another embodiment (not shown), the
front edge 2320 of theoutlet opening 232 is arranged at a distance from the level of thefront wall 70 of theoutput body 7 and at the same time at a distance from thefront end 700 of thefront wall 70 of theoutput body 7, thereby forming a step extension of thefiber outlet channel 25. - In an exemplary embodiment (not shown), the spinning unit is provided only with the
replaceable cleaning body 6 according to the present invention, and thefiber outlet opening 232 and thefiber outlet channel 25 are solved in a different manner and by other means. In another embodiment (not shown), the spinning unit is provided only with thereplaceable output body 7 according to the invention, and thecleaning opening 231 and thetrash removal channel 24 are solved in a different way and by other means. -
