Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for loosening items of laundry according to the preamble of claim 1 and a device for loosening items of laundry according to the preamble of claim 5.
- the laundry batch present as a laundry cake or laundry pile is subjected to a subsequent treatment, for example by drying in a dryer, the laundry batch present as a laundry cake or laundry pile is loosened, preferably broken open. If necessary, a batch of laundry or the laundry cake present as a laundry cake can be broken up beforehand and only then the laundry batch formed by the broken laundry cake can be loosened.
- the invention is based on the object of creating a method and a device for loosening a lot of laundry as much as possible, in which the items of laundry in the lot are pre-separated after loosening, in particular to the extent that the items of laundry can then be separated easily and reliably.
- a method for solving the problem has the measures of claim 1. According to this method, it is provided that the batch of laundry is loosened in several stages with a plurality of loosening rollers following one another in the transport direction of a conveyor transporting it further and / or that the batch of laundry present as a laundry cake is broken up. This multi-stage loosening of the batch or pile of laundry takes place more completely.
- the batch of laundry is preferably loosened up to such an extent that the laundry items of the batch of laundry are pre-separated. This makes it easier to separate the items of laundry completely and, in the best case, can make a subsequent separation device superfluous.
- the method is preferably designed in such a way that the successive loosening rollers are driven in such a way that they throw back the laundry items in a part of the respective laundry item facing the loosening rollers against the transport direction of the conveyor and preferably laundry items from the remaining part of the laundry item through gaps between the loosening rollers and the transport the items of laundry in the direction of transport to the conveyor moving past the loosening rollers.
- This procedure leads to an even more effective loosening of the batch of laundry and / or pile of laundry, in which an effective pre-separation of the laundry items of the pile of laundry takes place or at least can take place.
- a device for solving the above-mentioned object has the features of claim 5. Accordingly, it is provided to assign several loosening rollers spaced apart in the transport direction to loosen and / or break up the laundry lot, preferably laundry lots present as laundry cakes, to the conveyor for transporting the laundry item and / or laundry cake through the device in the transport direction. This results in a multiple, cascade-like and / or gradual loosening and / or breaking up of the laundry cake, laundry batch and / or laundry pile, with preferably all laundry items in the laundry batch or at least a large part of the laundry items in the laundry batch being pre-separated.
- the loosening rollers are preferably driven to rotate counter to the transport direction of the conveyor and / or to be drivable in rotation.
- the rotating drive of all loosening rollers takes place against the transport direction.
- the loosening rollers are preferably driven to rotate counter to the transport direction in such a way that they throw items of laundry of the respective laundry item back against the transport direction. This can be done in such a way that at the same time several items of laundry are thrown back against the transport direction by the respective loosening roller, which is driven to rotate against the transport direction.
- the drive of the loosening rollers causes the laundry items of the respective laundry item to be individually thrown back against the transport direction. Above all, it is conceivable that on the last loosening roller the items of laundry of the laundry item already partially loosened on the at least one of the loosening rollers arranged in front of it are thrown back at least predominantly individually.
- a further development of the device provides that the distances between the successive loosening rollers and the conveyor decrease in the transport direction. This is preferably done in such a way that gaps between the conveyor carrying and transporting the items of laundry and the undersides of the loosening rollers become smaller and smaller, viewed in the direction of transport. The largest or widest is then the gap between the first initial loosening roller and the support of the batch of laundry on the conveyor. The size or width of this gap gradually decreases with each subsequent loosening roller, in particular gradually. In this way, the batch of laundry is gradually removed from above by the successive loosening rollers and thus reduced in height. In the process, those caught by the loosening rollers are thrown back Items of laundry against the direction of transport. This results in a multiple and / or section-wise loosening of the batch of laundry.
- the last loosening roller is so far away from the conveyor that a sufficiently large gap remains between the lowest point of the loosening roller and the conveyor to transport the loosened laundry items of the respective laundry item past or under the last loosening roller in the transport direction .
- the conveyor which transports the items of laundry past the loosening rollers in the transport direction is designed as a belt conveyor.
- the items of laundry to be loosened then rest on the upper run of the circulating, endless conveyor belt of the belt conveyor and are transported on by this upper run in the transport direction, in particular past and / or through the successive loosening rollers.
- the items of laundry which preferably follow one another at a distance, can be continuously transported by the belt conveyor to, in particular under, the consecutive loosening rollers.
- the device can be designed in such a way that at least the upper run of the belt conveyor is delimited on both sides by guide walls running along the transport direction.
- the preferably parallel guide walls on both sides of the upper run can be upright, i.e. also run parallel in the cross-sectional direction through the belt conveyor, but also in opposite directions obliquely by expanding like a funnel upwards, i.e. towards their free ends directed away from the upper run.
- the guide walls ensure that the laundry items, in particular laundry items thrown back by the loosening rollers, remain on the upper run of the belt conveyor, in that the opposite guide walls form a trough-like channel over the upper run.
- an advantageous development of the device provides that at least part of the upper run of the belt conveyor is arranged in a plane that rises in the direction of transport. It is conceivable that another part, in particular an end region, of the belt conveyor lies in a horizontal plane. However, it is also conceivable that the entire upper run of the belt conveyor runs in one plane, for example a rising, in particular slightly rising, plane or a completely horizontal plane.
- the loosening rollers are arranged above the upper run so that they can be rotated about horizontal axes of rotation.
- the distances between the successive loosening rollers and the upper run in the transport direction are preferably reduced.
- the initial first loosening roller which loosens the pile of laundry for the first time, has the greatest distance from the upper run.
- the distances between the following loosening rollers and the upper run are reduced or the distance between only one subsequent loosening roller is reduced, whereby the or each subsequent loosening roller leads to a step-by-step further loosening of the respective batch of laundry.
- a pre-separating roller that can be driven in rotation for the items of laundry previously loosened by the loosening rollers at the rear end of the conveyor, in particular behind the upper run of the belt conveyor.
- This pre-separation roller either pre-separates the laundry items of the loosened laundry batch for the first time or it performs a final pre-separation after the loosening rollers.
- the pre-separation roller like the loosening roller, can preferably be driven to rotate about a horizontal axis of rotation, specifically with the same direction of rotation as the loosening rollers.
- the pre-separation roller is assigned to and / or downstream of the end of the upper run of the belt conveyor in such a way that the pre-separation of the laundry items of the loosened laundry batch is carried out by entrainment of the laundry items of the loosened laundry batch over the pre-separation roller when the drive of the pre-separation roller rotates that act from above on the respective batch of laundry.
- the invention relates to the loosening of laundry items 10, preferably laundry items 10 in the form of a laundry cake, which is then loosened by breaking open.
- the laundry items 10 are shown as a pile of laundry.
- the respective batch of laundry 10 contains a large number of items of laundry 11 that are still connected from previous treatment processes. This can be any items of laundry 11.
- the laundry items 11 are preferably so-called flat laundry, such as tablecloths, serviettes, towels, bed sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases and the like.
- the device shown in the figures has a conveyor 12, by which successive items of laundry 10 can be transported further in the transport direction 13.
- the conveyor 12 shown here is arranged at a distance above, for example, a hall floor 14, so that the items of laundry 10 can initially be transported further along a straight track that rises in the transport direction 13.
- a horizontally extending end section of the conveyor 12 adjoins the front section of the conveyor 12 that rises in the transport direction 13.
- the conveyor 12 is designed as a belt conveyor, the successive items of laundry 10 are transported by the upper run 15 in the transport direction 13 from the beginning to the end of the conveyor 12. The items of laundry 10 rest on the upper run 15 of the conveyor 12.
- the conveyor 12 has guide walls 16 on both sides, in particular both sides of the upper run 15.
- the two guide walls 16 run parallel to one another as seen in the transport direction 13 and extend over essentially the entire length of the conveyor 12.
- the two guide walls 16 can run parallel to one another, but also diverge upwards towards their free edges. This creates a trough-like channel above the upper run 15 of the conveyor 12, which if necessary widens towards the top.
- the successive batches of laundry are transported through this channel by the conveyor 12 in the transport direction 13.
- the device also has loosening rollers 17 which follow one another at a distance and run parallel to one another in the transport direction 13 Fig. 1 and 2 show two successive loosening rollers 17.
- the invention is not limited to this. More than two loosening rollers 17 can also be provided.
- the loosening rollers 17, which are designed in the same way, can be driven together or, if necessary, also separately in a rotating manner, namely against the transport direction 13 according to the illustrations in FIG Fig. 2 counter clockwise. If the loosening rollers 17 are driven with a common drive, their peripheral speeds are the same. But it is also conceivable to drive the loosening rollers 17 differently and / or separately so that they work at different peripheral speeds.
- the two loosening rollers 17 and 18 are assigned to the conveyor 12 in such a way that their parallel, horizontal axes of rotation 19 run transversely to the transport direction 13, i.e. are assigned to the conveyor 12 transversely to its longitudinal direction.
- the axis of rotation 19 of each loosening roller 17 and 18 is provided with outwardly protruding, approximately radially directed blades 20.
- each loosening roller 17 and 18 has four blades 20 distributed over the circumference of the axis of rotation 19 and thus connected directly or indirectly via, for example, a transverse web 21.
- the loosening rollers 17 and 18 can also have a larger or smaller number of blades 20 .
- the wings 20 can also have different profiles than in the Fig. 1 and 2 shown.
- the blades 20 of the loosening rollers 17 and 18 can be designed in the form of shovels.
- the loosening rollers 17 and 18 are adjustable in such a way that their axes of rotation 19 can be changed in opposite directions at a distance from the conveyor 12, in particular the upper run 15 of the same. Apart from this possibility of adjustment, the loosening rollers 17 and 18 are assigned to the conveyor 12 in a stationary manner. A modification of the device is also conceivable in which the loosening rollers 17 and 18, in particular their axes of rotation 19, are not adjustable. Such loosening rollers 17 and 18 are then permanently assigned to the conveyor 12 in every respect.
- the successive loosening rollers 17 and 18 are assigned to the conveyor 12 at different distances.
- the front loosening roller 17 is at a greater distance from the conveyor 12 than the loosening roller 18 following in the transport direction 15 larger, in particular wider, gap 22 is formed than between the upper run 15 and the rear loosening roller 18.
- the width or size of the smaller gap 23 is half to a third of the width or height of the larger gap 22.
- the distance between the two loosening rollers 17 and 18 following one another in the transport direction 13 is preferably selected such that they always loosen only one of the consecutive laundry items 10 so that no mixing of laundry items 11 from one laundry item 10 with the following laundry item 10 occurs.
- the device shown also has a pre-separation roller 25 directly adjoining a rear end 24 of the conveyor 12.
- This pre-separation roller 25 is arranged in a stationary manner behind and above the upper run 15 at the end 24 of the conveyor 12.
- the pre-separation roller 25 can be driven to rotate about an axis of rotation 26. This axis of rotation 26 runs parallel to the axes of rotation 19 of the loosening rollers 17 and 18.
- the pre-separation roller 25 can be driven in the same direction as the loosening rollers 17 and 18, namely based on the illustration of Fig. 1 and 2 also counterclockwise.
- the pre-separation roller 25 can be driven just as quickly as the loosening rollers 17, 18.
- the pre-separation roller 25 is formed from a web 27 running through the axis of rotation 26, which is connected to a plate 29 at its outer transverse edges running parallel to the axis of rotation 26.
- the opposite parallel longitudinal edges 30 of each plate 29 run at different distances from the respective longitudinal edge 28 of the web 27, in that the longitudinal edges 28 of the web 27 are also connected to the respective plate 29 in an off-center manner.
- the plates 29 are moreover connected to the longitudinal edges 28 of the web 27 of the pre-separation roller 25 in such a way that the two plates of the same size run parallel to one another and are congruent on top of one another.
- the axis of rotation 26 runs centrally between the plates 29.
- the laundry batch 10 leaving a washing machine or a downstream dewatering device in particular a laundry cake leaving a dewatering press, is transported by suitable conveyors to the conveyor 12 of the device described above.
- a laundry cake leaving a dewatering press in particular a laundry cake leaving a dewatering press
- the laundry cake is blown open beforehand.
- items of laundry 10 arrive in the form of a pile of laundry made from a burst laundry cake.
- FIG. 2 the movement sequences of the respective batch of laundry 10 and the items of laundry 11, described in more detail below, are symbolically represented by the device with flow lines having directional arrows 31. Furthermore clarify in the Fig. 2 Direction of rotation arrows 32 the direction of rotation of the two loosening rollers 17 and 18 and the pre-separation roller 25. The direction of rotation is the same for the two loosening rollers 17 and 18 and the pre-separation roller 25, as shown in FIG Fig. 2 counter clockwise.
- a respective batch of laundry 10 is transferred from the conveyor in front of the device to the beginning of the conveyor 12, specifically in such a way that the batch of laundry 10 reaches the upper run 15 of the conveyor 12.
- the respective batch of laundry 10 is continuously transported further in the transport direction 13 by the conveyor 12, initially past under the first loosening roller 17, then under the second loosening roller 18 and finally at the rear end 24 to the pre-separating roller 25 and over the same.
- the larger gap 22 under the first loosening roller 17 is dimensioned so that it is less than the usual height of a batch of laundry 10.
- This width of the gap 22 can, if necessary, be adapted to the height of the batch of laundry 10 by adjusting it in one direction of the double arrow 33 Increase or decrease the size of the gap 22.
- an upper part of the laundry item 10 comes into the effective area of its wings 20 when the laundry item 10 is continuously transported to the front loosening roller 10, whereby one or at the same time also several items of laundry 11 by the direction of rotation of the loosening roller 17 directed against the transport direction 13 of the conveyor 12 against the Transport direction 13 are taken along and thereby lifted and then thrown back against the transport direction 13 onto the upper run 15 of the conveyor 12.
- the laundry items 11 perform a kind of turning movement, which is indicated by a 3 ⁇ 4 circle in front of the first loosening roller 17 in the Fig. 2 is shown.
- the gap 23 under the following second loosening roller 18 is narrower than the gap 22 under the first loosening roller 17.
- the result is that here again an upper part of what is already from the first loosening roller 17 in the height of the reduced laundry item 10 comes into the area of influence of the following second loosening roller 18. Because of the lower arrangement of the loosening roller 18 compared to the loosening roller 17, the batch of laundry 10 in front of the loosening roller 18 is even higher than the gap 23 under this loosening roller 18.
- the wings 20 of the loosening roller 18 in turn move laundry items 11 in the upper area of the laundry batch 10 raised and thrown back in the direction of the loosening roller 17 against the transport direction 13.
- the height of the batch of laundry 10 is reduced again to approximately the width or height of the gap 23 under the loosening roller 18 and, at the same time, the batch of laundry 10 is pulled further apart.
- the flat, stretched-out laundry item 10 is preferably continuously transported to the rear end 24 of the conveyor 12 and, in the process, is brought into contact with the pre-separation roller 25. Because the pre-separation roller 25 is assigned so closely to the rear end 24 of the conveyor 12 that only a minimal gap remains here, the laundry items 11 are on The circumference of the pre-separation roller 25, which is also driven counterclockwise, is carried along and the pieces of laundry 11 of the laundry item 10 loosened several times on the loosening rollers 17 and 18 are pulled apart further, whereby a pre-separation occurs.
- the pre-separation of the laundry items 11 of the batch of laundry 10 loosened several times by the loosening rollers 17 and 18 can be supported by a faster drive of the pre-separation roller 25 compared to the loosening rollers 17 and 18, in that the circumferential speed of the pre-separation roller 25 is greater than the preferably same circumferential speed of the loosening rollers 17 and 18.
- pre-separation roller 25 has not already separated all the laundry items 11 of the laundry batch 10 or at least a large part of the laundry items 11 of the laundry pile 10 has been separated by the pre-separation device 25, a separate separation device can be provided behind the pre-separation roller 25 of the device.
- Pre-separation roller 25 is practically a pre-separation roller which sufficiently separates the laundry items 11, preferably all laundry items. The device then serves not only for the multi-stage loosening of the respective batch of laundry 10, but at the same time for separating all or at least almost all items of laundry 11.
- the invention is not only suitable for the above-described loosening of items of laundry, but in the same way also for breaking open Dewatering devices, preferably dewatering presses, originating laundry cake.

Abstract
In laundries, laundry occurs as laundry batches (10), in particular after washing and the subsequent dewatering, if necessary. The individual laundry items (11) of the laundry item (10) are related. Therefore, the batch of laundry (10) must be loosened before further processing. Up to now this has been done by a conveyor (12) transporting the respective item of laundry (10) past a loosening roller (17).
The invention provides for the batch of laundry (10) to be loosened in several steps with successive loosening rollers (17, 18). This leads to a particularly effective loosening of the batch of laundry (10). Thereafter, the laundry items (11) of the laundry item (10) are barely connected. They can then simply be separated or at least pre-separated.
Description
The invention relates to a method for loosening items of laundry according to the preamble of claim 1 and a device for loosening items of laundry according to the preamble of claim 5.
Linen washed in batches in laundries is drained in a drainage device after washing. The dewatered batch of laundry then leaves the drainage device as a coherent laundry cake.
Before the laundry batch present as a laundry cake or laundry pile is subjected to a subsequent treatment, for example by drying in a dryer, the laundry batch present as a laundry cake or laundry pile is loosened, preferably broken open. If necessary, a batch of laundry or the laundry cake present as a laundry cake can be broken up beforehand and only then the laundry batch formed by the broken laundry cake can be loosened.
Methods and apparatus for loosening and / or breaking up laundry items and / or laundry cakes are known which have a single loosening roller. However, it has been shown that loosening the batch of laundry with only one loosening roller is insufficient, which is what subsequent drying and / or any prior separation of the laundry items of the laundry item made more difficult.
The invention is based on the object of creating a method and a device for loosening a lot of laundry as much as possible, in which the items of laundry in the lot are pre-separated after loosening, in particular to the extent that the items of laundry can then be separated easily and reliably.
A method for solving the problem has the measures of claim 1. The batch of laundry is preferably loosened up to such an extent that the laundry items of the batch of laundry are pre-separated. This makes it easier to separate the items of laundry completely and, in the best case, can make a subsequent separation device superfluous.
The method is preferably designed in such a way that the successive loosening rollers are driven in such a way that they throw back the laundry items in a part of the respective laundry item facing the loosening rollers against the transport direction of the conveyor and preferably laundry items from the remaining part of the laundry item through gaps between the loosening rollers and the transport the items of laundry in the direction of transport to the conveyor moving past the loosening rollers. This procedure leads to an even more effective loosening of the batch of laundry and / or pile of laundry, in which an effective pre-separation of the laundry items of the pile of laundry takes place or at least can take place.
According to a preferred further development of the method, provision is made for the batch of laundry to be pulled apart in the transport direction of the conveyor and / or reduced in height from the loosening rollers following one another at a distance. This also contributes to the improved loosening of the batch of laundry and, preferably associated therewith, more effective pre-separation of the laundry items of the batch of laundry.
A device for solving the above-mentioned object has the features of claim 5.
Provision is preferably made for the loosening rollers to be driven to rotate counter to the transport direction of the conveyor and / or to be drivable in rotation. In particular, the rotating drive of all loosening rollers takes place against the transport direction. The loosening rollers are preferably driven to rotate counter to the transport direction in such a way that they throw items of laundry of the respective laundry item back against the transport direction. This can be done in such a way that at the same time several items of laundry are thrown back against the transport direction by the respective loosening roller, which is driven to rotate against the transport direction. Alternatively or in addition, it can also be provided that the drive of the loosening rollers causes the laundry items of the respective laundry item to be individually thrown back against the transport direction. Above all, it is conceivable that on the last loosening roller the items of laundry of the laundry item already partially loosened on the at least one of the loosening rollers arranged in front of it are thrown back at least predominantly individually.
A further development of the device provides that the distances between the successive loosening rollers and the conveyor decrease in the transport direction.
It is also provided that the last loosening roller is so far away from the conveyor that a sufficiently large gap remains between the lowest point of the loosening roller and the conveyor to transport the loosened laundry items of the respective laundry item past or under the last loosening roller in the transport direction .
According to a preferred embodiment of the device, the conveyor which transports the items of laundry past the loosening rollers in the transport direction is designed as a belt conveyor. The items of laundry to be loosened then rest on the upper run of the circulating, endless conveyor belt of the belt conveyor and are transported on by this upper run in the transport direction, in particular past and / or through the successive loosening rollers. As a result of this design of the belt conveyor, the items of laundry, which preferably follow one another at a distance, can be continuously transported by the belt conveyor to, in particular under, the consecutive loosening rollers.
The device can be designed in such a way that at least the upper run of the belt conveyor is delimited on both sides by guide walls running along the transport direction. The preferably parallel guide walls on both sides of the upper run can be upright, i.e. also run parallel in the cross-sectional direction through the belt conveyor, but also in opposite directions obliquely by expanding like a funnel upwards, i.e. towards their free ends directed away from the upper run. The guide walls ensure that the laundry items, in particular laundry items thrown back by the loosening rollers, remain on the upper run of the belt conveyor, in that the opposite guide walls form a trough-like channel over the upper run.
An advantageous development of the device provides that at least part of the upper run of the belt conveyor is arranged in a plane that rises in the direction of transport. It is conceivable that another part, in particular an end region, of the belt conveyor lies in a horizontal plane. However, it is also conceivable that the entire upper run of the belt conveyor runs in one plane, for example a rising, in particular slightly rising, plane or a completely horizontal plane.
The loosening rollers are arranged above the upper run so that they can be rotated about horizontal axes of rotation. The distances between the successive loosening rollers and the upper run in the transport direction are preferably reduced. As a result, the initial first loosening roller, which loosens the pile of laundry for the first time, has the greatest distance from the upper run. Thereafter, the distances between the following loosening rollers and the upper run are reduced or the distance between only one subsequent loosening roller is reduced, whereby the or each subsequent loosening roller leads to a step-by-step further loosening of the respective batch of laundry.
Another possibility for further development of the device provides for a pre-separating roller that can be driven in rotation for the items of laundry previously loosened by the loosening rollers at the rear end of the conveyor, in particular behind the upper run of the belt conveyor. This pre-separation roller either pre-separates the laundry items of the loosened laundry batch for the first time or it performs a final pre-separation after the loosening rollers.
The pre-separation roller, like the loosening roller, can preferably be driven to rotate about a horizontal axis of rotation, specifically with the same direction of rotation as the loosening rollers. However, the pre-separation roller is assigned to and / or downstream of the end of the upper run of the belt conveyor in such a way that the pre-separation of the laundry items of the loosened laundry batch is carried out by entrainment of the laundry items of the loosened laundry batch over the pre-separation roller when the drive of the pre-separation roller rotates that act from above on the respective batch of laundry.

The invention relates to the loosening of
The device shown in the figures has a
The
In the device shown here, the loosening
Höhe des größeren Spalts 22.The
The distance between the two

The method according to the invention is explained below with reference to the device described above:
The
A respective batch of
As a result of the smaller distance between the loosening
After the item of
Behind the
If the
If - which is conceivable in any case with certain items of laundry 11 - complete or almost complete isolation of the items of
The invention is not only suitable for the above-described loosening of items of laundry, but in the same way also for breaking open Dewatering devices, preferably dewatering presses, originating laundry cake.
