Claims (12)

  1. System (1), umfassend:
    - eine erste Pen-Injektionsvorrichtung (10), die einen ersten spezifischen Medikamententyp enthält und einen ersten Dosisausstoßmechanismus, erste Pen-Kommunikationsmittel (15) und erste Anzeigemittel umfasst, die in einem ersten Zustand anzeigen, dass der erste Dosisausstoßmechanismus inaktiv bleiben soll, und in einem zweiten Zustand anzeigen, dass der erste Dosisausstoßmechanismus für den Betrieb verfügbar ist,
    - eine zweite Pen-Injektionsvorrichtung (20), die einen zweiten spezifischen Medikamententyp enthält und einen zweiten Dosisausstoßmechanismus, zweite Pen-Kommunikationsmittel (25) und zweite Anzeigemittel umfasst, die in einem ersten Zustand anzeigen, dass der zweite Dosisausstoßmechanismus inaktiv bleiben soll, und in einem zweiten Zustand anzeigen, dass der zweite Dosisausstoßmechanismus für den Betrieb verfügbar ist,
    - eine mobile Kommunikationseinheit (30), die mobile Kommunikationsmittel (35) umfasst, die zum Kommunizieren mit den ersten Pen-Kommunikationsmitteln (15) und den zweiten Pen-Kommunikationsmitteln (25) ausgelegt ist, und
    - ein Software-Anwendungsprogramm, das konfiguriert ist, einen empfohlenen Medikamententyp, der an einen Benutzer abgegeben werden soll, als einen von dem ersten spezifischen Medikamententyp und dem zweiten spezifischen Medikamententyp basierend auf Informationen, die einen physiologischen Zustand des Benutzers anzeigen, zu bestimmen,
    wobei die mobile Kommunikationseinheit (30) konfiguriert ist, über eine Kommunikation von den mobilen Kommunikationsmitteln (35) an zumindest eines von den ersten Pen-Kommunikationsmitteln (15) und den zweiten Pen-Kommunikationsmitteln (25),
    - eine Zustandsänderung der ersten Anzeigemittel von dem zweiten Zustand in den ersten Zustand und/oder eine Zustandsänderung der zweiten Anzeigemittel von dem ersten Zustand in den zweiten Zustand in Reaktion darauf, dass der empfohlene abzugebende Medikamententyp der zweite spezifische Medikamententyp ist, zu veranlassen, und
    - eine Zustandsänderung der zweiten Anzeigemittel von dem zweiten Zustand in den ersten Zustand und/oder eine Zustandsänderung der ersten Anzeigemittel von dem ersten Zustand in den zweiten Zustand in Reaktion darauf, dass der empfohlene abzugebende Medikamententyp der erste spezifische Medikamententyp ist, zu veranlassen.
  2. System nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Software-Anwendungsprogramm konfiguriert ist, den empfohlenen abzugebenden Medikamententyp zumindest teilweise basierend auf Informationen zu bestimmen, die von den ersten Pen-Kommunikationsmitteln (15) an die mobilen Kommunikationsmittel (35) gesendet werden.
  3. System nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei die erste Pen-Injektionsvorrichtung (10) ferner einen Dosiseinstellmechanismus umfasst, der zum Einstellen einer abzugebenden Dosis verwendet werden kann.
  4. System nach Anspruch 3, wobei das Veranlassen einer Zustandsänderung der ersten Anzeigemittel von dem zweiten Zustand in den ersten Zustand das Deaktivieren des Dosiseinstellmechanismus umfasst.
  5. System nach Anspruch 3 oder 4, wobei die erste Pen-Injektionsvorrichtung (10) ferner eine Dosisanzeige (12) zur visuellen Bestätigung einer eingestellten Dosis umfasst, und wobei das Veranlassen einer Zustandsänderung der ersten Anzeigemittel von dem zweiten Zustand in den ersten Zustand das Beeinflussen der Dosisanzeige (12) umfasst.
  6. System nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die erste Pen-Injektionsvorrichtung (10) ferner einen Tongenerator umfasst, und wobei das Veranlassen einer Zustandsänderung der ersten Anzeigemittel von dem zweiten Zustand in den ersten Zustand das Erzeugen eines Benachrichtigungstons über den Tongenerator umfasst.
  7. System nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei das Veranlassen einer Zustandsänderung der ersten Anzeigemittel von dem zweiten Zustand in den ersten Zustand das Deaktivieren des ersten Dosisausstoßmechanismus umfasst.
  8. System nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, wobei die mobile Kommunikationseinheit (30) ferner einen Alarmgenerator umfasst, der zur Ausgabe eines Alarmsignals ausgelegt ist, wobei die ersten Pen-Kommunikationsmittel (15) konfiguriert sind, einen laufenden Betrieb des ersten Dosisausstoßmechanismus zu registrieren und den mobilen Kommunikationsmitteln (35) mitzuteilen, und wobei der Alarmgenerator konfiguriert ist, das Alarmsignal auszugeben, wenn die mobilen Kommunikationsmittel (35) eine Benachrichtigung von den ersten Pen-Kommunikationsmitteln (15) empfangen und der empfohlene Medikamententyp der zweite spezifische Medikamententyp ist.
  9. System nach einem der Ansprüche 3 bis 5, wobei die mobile Kommunikationseinheit (30) ferner einen Alarmgenerator umfasst, der zur Ausgabe eines Alarmsignals ausgelegt ist, wobei die ersten Pen-Kommunikationsmittel (15) konfiguriert sind, einen laufenden Betrieb des ersten Dosiseinstellmechanismus zu registrieren und den mobilen Kommunikationsmitteln (35) mitzuteilen, und wobei der Alarmgenerator konfiguriert ist, das Alarmsignal auszugeben, wenn die mobilen Kommunikationsmittel (35) eine Benachrichtigung von den ersten Pen-Kommunikationsmitteln (15) empfangen und der empfohlene Medikamententyp der zweite spezifische Medikamententyp ist.
  10. System nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei der empfohlene Medikamententyp aus einer Gruppe ausgewählt wird, die aus a) einem ersten Typ eines Diabetes-Medikaments und b) einem zweiten Typ eines Diabetes-Medikaments besteht.
  11. System nach Anspruch 10, wobei der erste Typ des Diabetes-Medikaments ein schnell wirkendes Insulin ist und der zweite Typ des Diabetes-Medikaments ein lang wirkendes Insulin ist.
  12. System nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Veranlassen einer Zustandsänderung der ersten Anzeigemittel von dem ersten Zustand in den zweiten Zustand das Bereitstellen eines optischen, akustischen und/oder taktilen Signals umfasst, dass die erste Pen-Injektionsvorrichtung (10) zum Gebrauch bereit ist.
