  2. Laundry treatment apparatus according to claim 1, characterised in that the opening (33) has a shape complementary to that of the holding finger (84).
  3. Laundry treatment apparatus according to any of claims 1 to 2, characterised in that the holding finger (84) has a T-shaped cross-section.
  4. Laundry treatment apparatus according to any of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the support device (8) comprises a hoop (83) enclosing at least part of the body when the tool (3) is resting in the storage position, said hoop (83) supporting the holding finger (84).
  5. Laundry treatment apparatus according to any of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the support device (8) comprises a protective screen (80) facing the treatment surface (30) when the tool (3) is in the storage position.
  6. Laundry treatment apparatus according to claim 5, characterised in that the protective screen (80) comprises thermally insulating pads (82).
  7. Laundry treatment apparatus according to claim 6, characterised in that, in the storage position, a space is provided between the treatment surface (30) of the tool and the protective screen (80) of the support device (8).
  8. Laundry treatment apparatus according to claim 7, characterised in that the tool (3) comprises a removable accessory (6) which can be arranged in front of the treatment surface (30), and in that the space between the treatment surface (30) and the protective screen (80) allows the tool (3), when fitted with the accessory (6), to be arranged in the storage position.
  9. Apparatus according to any of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the tool is an iron (3), the treatment surface being a metal soleplate (30).
  10. Apparatus according to any of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the apparatus comprises a base (1) which contains a water tank (10) and is connected by a duct (2) to the tool (3).
