Damit steht das Profil über die Außenkontur des Schrankkorpus vor, so dass für einen sauberen Einbau das Schrankmöbel auf einfache Weise in eine vorgesehene Nische so weit eingeschoben werden kann, bis das Profil an die die Nische begrenzende Wand anstößt. Auf der einen Seite sind damit größere Toleranzen bei den Einbaumaßen/Nischenmaßen möglich; auf der anderen Seite entfallen zusätzliche Maßnahmen zum Schließen des Spaltes zwischen der die Nische begrenzenden Wand und dem Schrankmöbel. Der letztgenannte Spalt ist also mit dem Profil überbrückt, so dass ein sauberer Abschluss zwischen Nische und Schrankmöbel gewährleistet ist. Eine gesonderte Abschlussfuge kann daher entfallen. Das erfindungsgemäße Schrankmöbel ist aber auch dann vorteilhaft handhabbar, wenn dieses nicht wie zuvor beschrieben in eine Nische eingebaut sondern beispielsweise an eine Wand angebaut oder an diese angehängt oder freistehend aufgestellt werden soll.
