It is to be understood that although such embodiments are generally preferred, embodiments where the width of the welding collar varies along the peripheral edge of the first layer may also be useful.
  • the welding collar may have a greater width at the corner portions of a transport closure, to provide more weldable material for ensuring a tight seal at the corner.

  • the first push-in area 9 is formed by the absence of the first layer material 2 in an area at the gripping end 7a of the pull-tab 7 and has been formed by punching out an area of the first layer 2 prior to lamination to the second layer 3.
  • the first push-in area 9 may be indicated by any suitable indication means.
  • Fig. 2a illustrates a packaging container 10 for bulk solids provided with a transport closure 1.
  • the container 10 comprises a tubular container body 14 extending between a top end 15 and a bottom end 17.
  • the top end 15 has a top opening 16, and the bottom end 17 has a bottom opening comprising a container bottom.
  • the container body 14 has an inner surface 18, as illustrated in Fig. 2b , facing towards an inner compartment in the packaging container 10 and an outer surface 19 facing away from the inner compartment.
  • the packaging container 10 is closed at the top opening 16 by a removable transport closure 1.
  • the transport closure is attached in the packaging container by welding the welding collar 8 to the inner surface 20 of the container body 14.
  • the packaging container may optionally comprise a lid or a lid component as known in the art.
  • the packaging container comprises a lid component with a hinge-lid as disclosed in WO 2016/126191 A1 or a lid as disclosed in non-published application PCT/SE2017/050378 .

  • the reinforcing rim is preferably a plastic rim, most preferably a thermoplastic rim and is attached to the container body wall at the container top opening 16 either directly by welding or gluing or indirectly by being mechanically attached to another rim-structure which is directly attached to the container wall att the container opening.

  • the second layer 3 welding collar 8 is flexed towards the top end 15 of the packaging container 10 in a longitudinal direction.
  • the welding collar 8 is attached to the inner surface 18 of the packaging container 10 by a welding joint.
  • the welding collar 8 may of course be flexed towards the bottom end 17 as well.
  • Figs 2c-e illustrate a method of removing the transport closure 1 from the packaging container 10.
  • the consumer starts removal of the transport closure by gripping the pull-tab at the gripping end 7a.
  • the consumer may apply pressure at the first push-in area 9 defined in the first layer 2 and provided in connection to the gripping end 7a of the pull-tab. In this way, the gripping end 7a is inclined away from the transport closure 1, defining a gap under the gripping end.
  • the first push-in area 9 may for example be formed by a cut-out in the first layer 2, or by printing or embossing in the area to provide instructions to the consumer to apply pressure in this area for inclining the gripping end 7a upwardly.
  • the consumer subsequently pulls the pull-tab 7 along the weakening line (6) to separate the pull-tab from the first layer 2 and towards the base end 7b and the first layer peripheral edge 4.
  • Fig. 2d the pull-tab 7 is pulled slightly upwards and towards the base end 7b and the first layer peripheral edge 4
  • Fig. 2e is an illustration of the pressure resulting at the base end 7a of the pull-tab 7 and when the pull-tab 7 is pulled forward and upwards.
  • the gripping end 7a will push the base end 7b of the pull-tab 7 inwardly at a second push-in area 11 defined in the second layer 3 at the first layer peripheral edge 4 and thereby break the second layer 3 initiate a crack propagation along the first layer peripheral edges 4.
  • Fig. 2d-e the removal of the transport layer 1 from the packaging container 10 is shown.
  • the second layer 3 breaks and detaches from the inner surface 20 at the welding seal along the peripheral edges 4 of the first layer 2 until said transport closure 1 is completely detached from the packaging container 10 and leaving a residual edge of the welding collar 8 having a width of less than 0.5 mm extending into the top opening 16 of the container body 14.
  • the first layer 2 is attached to the second layer 3 along a joint, formed by adhesive or welding, extending in parallel with the first layer peripheral edges 4, such as for example at a distance of from 1 to 10 mm from the first layer peripheral edges 4.
  • the attachment between the first and the second layer 2,3 may be reinforced at the base end 7b of the pull-tab 7.
  • the weakening line legs 20a, 20b separate the first layer 2 from the second layer 3 upon removal of the transport closure.
  • the force required to break the second layer 3 and remove the transport closure will be thereby be reduced. Therefore, only breaking and pulling of the material between the first layer peripheral edges and the weakening line leg(s) upon removal of the transport closure is required for complete removal of the transport closure.

Claims (15)

  1. Fermeture de transport (1) destinée à être utilisée dans un récipient d'emballage (10) pour solides en vrac, ladite fermeture de transport (1) comprenant ou consistant en un stratifié d'une première couche (2) et d'une seconde couche (3), ladite première couche (2) étant délimitée par un bord périphérique de première couche (4), ladite seconde couche (3) étant délimitée par un bord périphérique de seconde couche (5), ladite seconde couche (3) comprenant ou consistant en un matériau soudable et ladite première couche (2) ayant une résistance au déchirement plus élevée que ladite seconde couche (3), ladite première couche (2) étant pourvue d'une ligne d'affaiblissement (6) définissant une tirette (7) dans ladite première couche (2) et ayant un premier et un seconde point de base (6a, 6b), lesdits points de base (6a, 6b) étant disposés au niveau d'une extrémité de base (7b) de ladite tirette (7), opposée à une extrémité de préhension (7a) de ladite tirette (7), et à une distance d1 et d2 respectivement, de 1 à 30 mm dudit premier bord périphérique (4), ladite ligne d'affaiblissement (6) formant une première et/ou une seconde patte (20a, 20b) de ligne d'affaiblissement s'étendant depuis ledit premier et/ou ledit second point de base (6a, 6b), respectivement, et le long dudit bord périphérique de première couche (4) et en ce que ledit bord périphérique de seconde couche (5) s'étend au-delà dudit bord périphérique de première couche (4) autour du périmètre de ladite fermeture de transport (1) formant un collier de soudure de fermeture de transport (8).
  2. Fermeture de transport (1) selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que ladite première couche (2) est une couche de carton, un disque métallique, un disque plastique ou leur stratifié.
  3. Fermeture de transport (1) selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisée en ce que ladite première couche (2) a une épaisseur de 5 à 2 000 µm ou de 20 à 500 µm.
  4. Fermeture de transport (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisée en ce que ladite seconde couche (3) comprend ou consiste en un film plastique ou une feuille métallique, telle qu'une feuille d'aluminium.
  5. Fermeture de transport (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisée en ce que ladite seconde couche (3) a une épaisseur de 2 µm à 500 µm telle que de 5 à 100 µm.
  6. Fermeture de transport (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisée en ce que ladite première couche (2) a une rigidité qui est supérieure à ladite seconde couche (3).
  7. Fermeture de transport (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisée en ce que ledit bord périphérique de seconde couche (5) s'étend au-delà dudit bord périphérique de première couche (4) sur une distance de 1 à 25, telle que de 2 à 10 millimètres.
  8. Fermeture de transport (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisée en ce que lesdits premier et second points de base (6a, 6b) au niveau de ladite extrémité de base (7b) sont disposés à une distance l'un de l'autre d'au moins 3 mm, telle que de 8 à 25 mm.
  9. Fermeture de transport (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisée en ce que ladite première couche (2) comprend une partie coin (12) et en ce que ladite tirette (7) est disposée dans ladite partie coin (12).
  10. Fermeture de transport (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisée en ce que lesdites distances d1 et d2 pour lesdits premier et second points de base (6a, 6b) respectivement, de ladite ligne d'affaiblissement (6) sont chacune disposées à une distance maximale de 10 mm dudit bord périphérique de première couche (4).
  11. Fermeture de transport (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisée en ce que ladite tirette (7) a une forme en V, une forme en O, une forme en U ou une forme en U modifiée.
  12. Fermeture de transport (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisée en ce qu'une première zone d'insertion (9) est définie dans ladite première couche (2) ou définie par celle-ci et en ce que ladite zone d'insertion (9) est prévue au niveau de ladite extrémité de préhension (7a) de ladite tirette (7).
  13. Récipient d'emballage (10) pour solides en vrac, ledit récipient (10) comprenant un corps de récipient tubulaire (14) doté d'une extrémité supérieure (15) comportant une ouverture supérieure (16) et une extrémité inférieure (17) avec une ouverture inférieure comprenant un fond de récipient, ledit corps de récipient (14) ayant une surface interne (18) orientée vers un compartiment interne dans ledit récipient d'emballage (10) et une surface externe (19) orientée à l'opposé dudit compartiment interne, ledit récipient d'emballage (10) étant fermé au niveau de ladite ouverture supérieure (16) par une fermeture de transport amovible caractérisée en ce que ladite fermeture de transport est une fermeture de transport (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes et en ce que ledit collier de soudage (8) est soudé à ladite surface interne (20) dudit corps de récipient (14).
  14. Procédé destiné au retrait d'une fermeture de transport (1) d'un conteneur d'emballage (10) selon la revendication 13, le procédé comprenant les étapes suivantes :
    a) la préhension de ladite tirette (7) au niveau de ladite extrémité de préhension (7a) ;
    b) la traction de ladite tirette (7) le long de ladite ligne d'affaiblissement (6) et vers ladite extrémité de base (7b) et ledit bord périphérique de première couche (4) ;
    c) le soulèvement de ladite tirette (7) légèrement vers le haut jusqu'à ce que ladite seconde couche (3) se casse et se détache de ladite surface interne (20) dudit corps de récipient (14) ; et
    d) la traction de ladite tirette (7) vers le haut et vers l'arrière depuis ladite extrémité de base (7b) de telle sorte que ladite seconde couche (3) se casse et se détache de ladite surface interne (20) au niveau dudit joint de soudure et le long de ladite première et/ou seconde patte (20a, 20b) de ligne d'affaiblissement le long des bords périphériques (4) de ladite première couche (2) jusqu'à ce que ladite fermeture de transport (1) soit retirée de ladite ouverture supérieure (16) et laissant moins de 0,5 mm de ladite seconde couche (3) s'étendant dans ladite ouverture supérieure (16) dudit corps de récipient (14).
  15. Procédé destiné au retrait d'une fermeture de transport (1) d'un récipient d'emballage (10) selon la revendication 14, le procédé comprenant en outre l'étape suivante :
    a1) l'application d'une pression au niveau d'une première zone d'insertion (9) définie dans ladite première couche (2) ou définie par celle-ci et prévue au niveau de ladite extrémité de préhension (7a) de ladite tirette (7) et ainsi l'inclinaison de ladite extrémité de préhension (7a) à l'écart de la fermeture de transport (1) pour définir un espace sous ladite extrémité de préhension (7a).
