Die Verstärkungsgurte 92 werden zusammen mit dem Überzug 80 über das Gestänge 76 aufgezogen. Die umlaufend um das Gestänge 76 angeordneten Verstärkungsgurte 92 umschließen das Gestänge 76, wobei die Verstärkungsgurte 92 parallel zu einer Mittelstange 86 verlaufen und an einer rechten Haltestange 84 und einer linken Haltestange 85 des Gestänges 76 anliegen. Ein Verstärkungsgurt 92 zur Erhaltung einer Spannung wird zusammen mit dem Überzug über das Gestänge 76 aufgezogen und vermeidet ein Durchdrücken des Überzugs 80 bei Belastung durch ein Anlehnen.     characterized in that
    the right and/or the left assembly fitting (50a, b) has/have a U shaped crossbeam bracket (54) for receiving the middle crossbeam (23).
  4. A box spring in accordance with claim 3,
    characterized in that
    the open side of the crossbeam bracket (54) is downwardly oriented.
  5. A box spring in accordance with at least one of the claims 3 or 4,
    characterized in that
    the crossbeam bracket (54) is inwardly oriented.
  6. A box spring in accordance with one of the preceding claims
    characterized in that
    the transverse slats (72) are attachable extending orthogonally to the side rails (44a, b) on the side rails (44a, b).
  7. A box spring in accordance with one of the preceding claims
    characterized in that
    the head crossbeam (24) and/or the middle crossbeam (23) and/or the foot crossbeam (25) has/have (25) means for receiving a leg (18), in particular a threaded sleeve.
