    said two lower arms (7, 7a; 7', 7'a) being each ended by a gear wheel portion (10, 10a) meshing with each other,
    the pairs of gear wheels (10, 10a) of the two slat end-piece structures (3) located opposite to each other at each end of the slats (2, 2a) being rotationally coupled to each other by motion transmission rods (11),
    said motion transmission rods (11) having a square cross-section, being hollow and each extending along a longitudinal axis, the lower ends of the lower arms (7, 7a; 7', 7'a) of the two bent levers (5, 6) including a fitting recess (13) for the end of said motion transmission rods (11), of complementary square cross-section,
    said slat-based support device (1, 1') including means (14) for its fastening to said bed-base frame (L),
    and said slat-based support device (1, 1') including elastic return means (12, 36) adapted to tend to move said slat end-piece structures (3) apart from said means (14) for the fastening to the bed base frame (L),

    said fitting recess (13) of said motion transmission rods (11) is located in the continuation of the fitting hole (21) of said articulation axes (17) of said fastening platen (15), and extends coaxially to the latter,
    and said articulation axes (17) extend in protrusion from their fitting hole (21) and partially penetrate into said fitting recesses (13) and into said motion transmission rods (11).
  2. The slat-based support device (1, 1') according to claim 1, characterized in that said means for the removable attachment of said fastening platen (15) to said support base (16) comprise lateral rails (18) arranged on said fastening platen (15), which cooperate with lateral guiding slides (20) arranged on said support base (16),
    an abutment structure (23) being provided to limit the possibilities of movement of said fastening platen (15) in one direction with respect to said support base (16).

The slat-based support device (1, 1') according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the means for the fastening of said support base (16) on said bed base frame (L) consist of tenons (19) arranged on said support base (16), adapted to penetrate into fitting holes arranged in said bed base frame (L).

The slat-based support device (1, 1') according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that said elastic return means consist of a spiral-shaped spring (12) interposed between a bearing plane (25) of said slat end-piece structures (3) and a bearing plane (26) of a plate (27) integral with said fastening platen (15).
  6. The slat-based support device (1') according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that said lower (7', 7'a) and upper (8', 8'a) arms of the bent levers (5, 6) are made single-piece with their articulation shaped as thinning of material (9'),
    said elastic return means being consisted of V-shaped blades (36) connecting said lower (7', 7'a) and upper (8', 8'a) arms of each bent lever (5, 6).

The slat-based support device (1, 1') according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that it includes adjustment means (30) adapted to adjust the displacement amplitude of the upper arms (8, 8a; 8', 8'a) of the two bent levers (5, 6), to allow an adjustment of the firmness of said slat-based support device (1, 1').
  8. The slat-based support device (1, 1') according to claim 7, characterized in that said firmness adjustment means (30) comprise a slider (31) adapted to be positioned between the two slats (2, 2a) of said slat-based support device (1, 1') and to slide along these latter,
    said slider (31) including a firmness adjustment extension (32) provided with an end spacer structure (33),
    said spacer structure (33) being adapted to be positioned in a space (E) located between a bottom surface (34) of said slat end-piece structures (3) and an abutment structure (35) arranged on said upper arms (8, 8a; 8', 8'a) of the two bent levers (5, 6).
  9. The slat-based support device (1, 1') according to claim 8, characterized in that said spacer structure (33) includes at least two juxtaposed zones of different thicknesses.
