Definitions

  • the present invention relates to an insert for wedging an object inside a container.
  • This invention relates to the field of the manufacture of devices intended to contain at least one object with a view to transporting it, more particularly between the place of manufacture and the place of use. This invention will find a particularly appropriate application when it comes to transporting objects of different sizes, in particular of different diameters.
  • Such devices which comprise, on the one hand, a container, in particular in the form of a box, a cardboard box, a box or the like and, on the other hand , at least one wedging insert, which is positioned inside such a container, and which is interposed between the walls of this container and the object to be transported, with a view to wedging the latter inside the container.
  • a first type of wedging insert consists of an insert made of cardboard, polystyrene or the like.
  • This first type of wedging insert has, however, the disadvantage of having to provide different wedging inserts whose dimensions and/or geometries are adapted to those of the objects to be transported. This results, again, in a multiplication of the references of these wedging inserts.
  • dunnage inserts are difficult to recycle.
  • the latter comprises an apron, which comprises a plurality of slats assembled two by two in an articulated manner, and which is rolled up on itself to adopt the form of a spiral, this before being positioned inside a container.
  • an apron then has an irregular outer contour, which results from this spiral shape, and which requires a special arrangement at the level of the internal cavity of the wedging insert, this to allow appropriate maintenance of the apron at the inside of the container.
  • the need to provide such a particular arrangement represents, in itself, a drawback of the wedging inserts of the state of the art. This drawback is then amplified when it comes to conditioning aprons of different sizes.
  • a second type of wedging insert consists of a film, which has air bubbles or air cushions, and which is wrapped around the object.
  • This second type of wedging insert has, however, the disadvantages of consuming a large amount of film as well as being long and difficult to implement.
  • EP1518795 has a wedging insert made of foam according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the present invention seeks to remedy the drawbacks of the devices of the state of the art.
  • the invention relates to an insert for wedging an object inside a container
  • this wedging insert is made of foam and comprising, on the one hand, an external part, which has an external shape constant, which is intended to cooperate with the container, and which comprises a frame comprising a plurality of sides, on the other hand, an internal part, which delimits an internal cavity, which has at least one variable geometry, and which is intended to cooperate with the object and, on the other hand, a plurality of connecting means for connecting the outer part and the inner part, at least these connecting means being deformable.
  • connection means each comprises, on the one hand, a first part, which extends between two consecutive sides of the frame of the external part, and which connects these two consecutive sides and, on the other hand, a second part, which extends between said first part of such a connecting means and the internal part, and which connects this first part and this internal part.
  • the internal part comprises a plurality of sections which each adopt a concave shape and which each have a concavity oriented in the direction of the internal cavity.
  • the internal part comprises a plurality of sections which are each movable in a direction comprising at least one radial component with respect to the center of the internal cavity.
  • At least one side of the frame of the external part comprises, on the one hand, a first section which comprises reversible assembly means, on the other hand, a second section which comprises reversible assembly means complementary configured to cooperate with the reversible assembly means of the first section, this to form said side.
  • the wedging insert comprises at least one orifice delimited by a portion of the outer part and at least by at least one connection means, or even by a portion of the inner part.
  • connection means has a resistance to deformation, respectively an amplitude of deformation, which is different with respect to the resistance to deformation, respectively to the amplitude of deformation , which has at least one other of these connecting means.
  • the first part of at least one of the connection means has a resistance to deformation, respectively an amplitude of deformation, which is different with respect to the resistance to deformation, respectively to the amplitude of deformation , that presents the second part of such a connecting means.
  • connection means are elastic in nature and/or deformable by compression.
  • the wedging insert is made of foam of a plastic and/or recyclable and/or recycled material.
  • the invention also relates to an assembly comprising, on the one hand, an object which comprises at least one roller shutter apron wound in a spiral and, on the other hand, at least one wedging insert for such an object at the inside a container.
  • This assembly is characterized in that said wedging insert has the characteristics described above.
  • the invention relates to a use of a wedging insert for wedging, inside a container, an object which comprises at least one roller shutter apron.
  • This use is characterized by the fact that the wedging insert has the characteristics described above.
  • the wedging insert according to the invention comprises an external part, an internal part, and means for connecting these external and internal parts. At least these connecting means are deformable which advantageously allows, when the wedging insert is put in place around an object, at least one modification of the geometry of this internal part and, consequently, an adaptation dimensions and/or geometries of the internal cavity of the wedging insert to those of said object, such as for example a roller shutter apron, or even roller shutter aprons of different diameters.
  • connection means each comprises, on the one hand, a first part, which extends between two consecutive sides of the frame of the external part, and which connects these two consecutive sides and, on the other hand, a second part, which extends between the said first part of such a connecting means and the internal part, and which connects this first part and this internal part.
  • the present invention relates to the field of the manufacture of devices intended to contain at least one object, with a view to transporting it, more particularly between the place of manufacture and the place of use of such an object.
  • Such a device comprises a container (not shown) which can take the form of a crate (in particular of wood), a box (in particular of cardboard) or other.

  • This wedging insert 1 also comprises an internal part 3, which delimits an internal cavity 4, which has at least one variable geometry, and which is intended to cooperate with the object O.
  • an internal part 3 constitutes, in fact , holding means for peripherally holding said object O.
  • This wedging insert 1 also comprises a plurality of connecting means (5; 5') for connecting the outer part 2 and the inner part 3.
  • At least these connecting means (5; 5') are deformable.
  • connection means (5; 5') are deformable.
  • connection means (5; 5') are then of an elastic nature and/or deformable by compression.
  • connection means (5; 5') are configured to oppose a resistance to deformation which allows the object O to be held inside the wedging insert 1.
  • connection means (5; 5') then each have a certain resistance to deformation.
  • connection means (5; 5') has a resistance to deformation which is different (in particular lower) compared to the resistance to deformation that at least one other 5' of these connecting means (5; 5').
  • This feature advantageously allows the wedging insert 1 to adapt the holding (more particularly the holding force) of the object O (in particular consisting of a roller shutter apron wound in a spiral) to the shape (in particular irregular , more particularly spiral) of this object O, whatever the shape of this object O and to ensure appropriate maintenance of this object O inside a container.
  • connection means (5; 5') has a deformation amplitude which is different (in particular greater) with respect to the deformation amplitude that at least one other 5' has. of these connecting means (5; 5').
  • This feature advantageously makes it possible to adapt the wedging insert 1 (more particularly the geometry and/or the dimensions of the internal cavity 4 of this wedging insert 1) to the irregular shape of the object O to be wedged (more particularly to the spiral shape of a rolled-up roller shutter apron), this to ensure proper maintenance of this object O inside a container.
  • the outer part 2 and/or the inner part 3 are also deformable.
  • this outer part 2 and/or this inner part 3 can then be elastic in nature and/or deformable by compression.
  • the outer part 2 comprises a frame 20 which comprises a plurality of sides (200; 201; 202; 203) of which at least one side 200 comprises, on the one hand, a first section 21 which comprises reversible assembly means 22, on the other hand, a second section 21' which comprises complementary reversible assembly means 22' configured to cooperate with the reversible assembly means 22 of the first section, this to constitute said side 200.
  • This characteristic allows, advantageously and by separating the reversible assembly means 22 and the complementary reversible assembly means 22', to open the wedging insert 1 before introducing the object O inside this insert wedging 1.
  • Said outer part 2 is deformable.
  • these deformable sides (200; 201; 202; 203) are then of an elastic nature and/or deformable by compression.
  • Another characteristic relates to the fact that the internal part 3 comprises a plurality of sections (30; 31; 32; 33).
  • these sections (30; 31; 32; 33) each adopt a concave shape and each have a concavity oriented in the direction of the internal cavity 4.
  • these sections are arranged in the form of a crown, in particular a continuous and/or closed crown.
  • these sections (30; 31; 32; 33) can be arranged in the form of a crown, in particular a discontinuous crown.
  • these sections (30; 31; 32; 33) are movable relative to the outer part 2 and/or relative to the connection means 5.
  • connection means 5 which allows the mobility of these sections (30; 31; 32; 33).
  • Said internal part 3 is deformable.
  • these deformable sections (30; 31; 32; 33) are then of an elastic nature and/or deformable by compression.
  • the wedging insert 1 comprises a plurality of connection means (5; 5').
  • connection means (5; 5') each comprises, on the one hand, a first part 50, which extends between two consecutive sides (201, 202; 202, 203) of frame 20 of outer part 2, and which connects these two consecutive sides (201, 202; 202, 203) and, on the other hand, a second part 51, which extends between said first part 50 of such a connection means 5 and the internal part 3, and which connects this first part 50 and this internal part 3.
  • this second part 51 of such a connection means 5 connects the first part 50 of such a connection means 5 and one of the sections (32; 33) that this internal part 4 comprises.
  • the wedging insert 1 comprises several connection means 5 which have these characteristics.
  • connecting means 5 which has such characteristics (first part 50 and second part 51) makes it possible to increase the amplitude the deformation of such a connecting means 5 compared to another connecting means 5 '.
  • the first part 50 of said at least one of the connection means (5; 5') comprises, on the one hand, at least one convex portion 500 which each has a concavity oriented in the direction of the outer part 2 and, on the other hand, at least one concave portion 501, which extends from such a convex portion 500, which connects such a convex portion 500 and the outer part 2, and which each has , a concavity oriented in a direction opposite to this external part 2 and/or in the direction of the internal cavity 4.
  • the first part 50 of such a connecting means 5 comprises, on the one hand, two concave portions 501 and, on the other hand, a convex portion 500 interposed between these two concave portions 501 .
  • the first part 50 of said at least one of the connection means (5; 5′) has a resistance to deformation which is different with respect to the resistance to deformation that the second part 51 has. such a connecting means 5.
  • This characteristic allows a successive deformation of the first part 50 and of the second part 51 of such a connection means 5, this under the effect of a stress exerted by an object O on the internal part 3.
  • Such a characteristic allows , for example, on the one hand, the deformation of one (more particularly of the second part 51) of these two parts (50; 51) to wedge an object O or to take account of an increase in dimensions between two objects O to be wedged and, on the other hand, the deformation of the other (more particularly of the first part 50) of these parts (50; 51) to take account of an irregularity in the shape (for spiral example) of such an object O (more particularly a rolled-up roller shutter apron).
  • the second part 51 has a greater resistance to deformation than the resistance to deformation presented by the first part 50. Therefore, when a stress is exerted on said connecting means 5 by the object O, the first part 50 deforms before the second part 51.
  • the second part 51 has a lower resistance to deformation than the resistance to deformation presented by the first part 50. Therefore, when a stress is exerted on said connecting means 5 by the object O, the second part 51 deforms before the first part 50.
  • the first part 50 of said at least one of the connecting means (5; 5') has a deformation amplitude which is different with respect to the deformation amplitude that the second part 51 has. such a connection means 5.
  • the wedging insert 1 comprises at least one orifice 6 delimited by a portion of the external part 2 and at least by at least one connecting means (5; 5'), or even by a portion of the inner part 3.
  • such an orifice 6 can be delimited by said portion of the external part 2 and by the first part 50 of said at least one of the connection means (5; 5').
  • said portion of the external part 2 can be constituted by a part of two consecutive sides (201, 202; 202, 203) of the frame 20 of the external part 2.
  • This feature advantageously makes it possible to increase the amplitude of the deformation of said at least one of the connecting means (5; 5') relative to another 5' of these connecting means (5; 5') , this with the aforementioned effects.
  • Such an orifice 6 can also be delimited by a portion of the external part 2, by two connection means (5, 5';5',5') as well as by a portion of the internal part 3 (more particularly by a portion of sections 30, 31; 31, 32; 30, 33 mentioned above).
  • said at least one orifice 6 consists of an opening, which passes through the wedging insert 1, and which extends along an axis parallel to an axis along which the internal cavity 4 extends.
  • connection means or means (5; 5') advantageously makes it possible to constitute the connection means or means (5; 5').
  • the positioning of these orifices 6 and/or the interval between these orifices 6 then makes it possible to confer the deformable character (with resistance to deformation) to these connection means (5; 5').
