Description

The invention relates to a system for treating process water of a machine for producing and / or finishing a paper, cardboard, tissue or other fibrous web, the process water being divided into several sub-fractions with different proportions of fibers in a sorting or filtering device becomes.
The invention also relates to a method for operating this plant.

Such systems are for example in the DE 10 2013 105 111 A1 , the DE 699 15 227 T2 , the DE 10 2006 034 186 A1 as well as the DE 10 2011 005 650 A1 described.
It is known that paper fiber suspensions of the type used to produce a fibrous web contain not only the actual paper fibers, but also a more or less large amount of fine solids. Such fine solids can be mineral fillers, which are usually necessary for paper production. They are mostly called "ash" because the mineral fillers are non-flammable. However, it can also be fiber fragments that arise, for example, when the fibers are ground. These are also called fines.

If the consistency of the paper fiber suspension in the stock preparation of a paper machine needs to be increased for process engineering reasons, it is thickened. Not only some of the water but also some of the fine solids pass into the filtrate, which is why the filtrate is usually composed of water, fines and fillers.
In the usual process management, this filtrate is used where the pulp suspension has to be diluted at an upstream point for process engineering reasons. In this way, the fine solids are not lost, but it is possible that the accumulation of fines and fillers in the filtrates becomes relatively large. Therefore, this method of returning the filtrate, which is favorable in itself, can lead to disruptions in the process flow. The same applies to the process water of the machine, which mainly accumulates in the former for sheet formation and in the press section for dewatering the fibrous web and is reused in the machine or the upstream stock preparation.

Here too, particularly with a high proportion of waste paper, there can be a considerable accumulation of fine and filler materials, which has a negative effect on the strength of the fibrous web.
One possible remedy to avoid such disturbances is to remove the fine and fillers from the circuit. For example, it is possible to set up an existing flotation system in such a way that it deashes the stock much more than is necessary for the paper that is later made from the fiber itself. But then the material losses increase and the yield decreases.
In the DE 102 18 265 a system for ash removal is described in which the pulp suspension is fed to a washing device, the fine fraction of which is fed to a flotation device and then the acceptance of this flotation device is returned.

The object of the invention is therefore in particular to reduce the proportion of fillers in the fibrous web with as little effort and fiber losses as possible, if necessary.

According to the invention, the object was achieved in that at least two partial fractions are at least partially fed over at least a predetermined period of time to a common washing device, the fine fraction of this washing device to a flotation device and the acceptance of this flotation device of the machine, another machine for producing a fibrous web or an upstream machine Process for treating a pulp suspension is fed.

The system is particularly suitable for treating the process water that is heavily loaded with fibers, fines and fillers from the former of the sheet forming machine. This process water can at least partially be fed to the sorting or filtering device.

The sub-fractions of the sorting or filtering device usually have a high proportion of fines and fillers, which is higher than that of the waste paper used and the paper produced.

Therefore, a partial fraction with a higher fiber content, preferably the partial flow of the sorting or filter device with the highest fiber content, also has a Filler-containing, preferably high-filler-containing partial fraction of the sorting or filter device is diluted and fed to the washing device.

While the coarse fraction of this washing device with a high fiber content is returned to the material cycle of the machine or an upstream process for treating a fiber suspension, the fine fraction of the washing device with a high filler content but a low fiber content reaches the flotation device.
In this flotation device, the fines and fillers as well as stickies can be separated off without a great deal of fiber loss and then discarded or reused.

If necessary, chemicals or other process water from the machine or an upstream process for treating a fiber suspension to dilute the partial flow with a high fiber content can also be fed to the washing device. The white water of the paper machine, for example, is also suitable for this.

The sorting or filter device is advantageously designed as a disc filter. Disk filters have been known for a long time and are used to separate liquids from a suspension.
According to their proportion of fibers, fillers and fines, the partial flows of the disc filter are referred to as fiber filtrate (also called catching material), cloudy filtrate, clear filtrate and super clear filtrate.

A pressure release flotation device is particularly suitable as a flotation device for separating off the fillers.
With relaxation flotation, the process water is saturated with air at overpressure and then fed into a flotation tank. After relaxation, the excess air bubbles out in the form of fine bubbles. The gas bubbles bind the fine and fillers and carry them to the surface of the flotation tank, where they can be cleared away.

Machines for producing a fibrous web generally also have a press section for dewatering the fibrous web. Because of the contact with the press felts that are passed through the press nips Process water from the press section in addition to fibers, fine and fillers, as well as felt hair.
In general, the process water from the press section can at least partially be fed directly to the washing device or to the flotation device. In particular, for the separation of the felt hair, it can be advantageous if the process water of the press section is previously passed through another sorting device, for example an ultra-fine sorter or a curved screen.

With continuous operation, the accumulation of fines and fillers can be effectively countered.

However, it is also possible to pass the partial fractions of the sorting or filtering device to the washing device only over certain periods of time in order to reduce the average filler content of the process water reused in the machine.

It is also possible to control or control the amount of filler content in the fibrous web via the amount of the partial fractions fed to the washing device.

The invention will be explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment. In the attached drawing, the figure shows a system scheme for wastewater treatment.

As is known per se, a pulp suspension is produced in that the paper material is increasingly processed mechanically and possibly chemically in the form of waste paper with water in a dissolution so that a pumpable pulp suspension is created. The subsequent first cleaning can be provided, for example, with pressure sorters and hydrocyclones in order to separate out the coarse impurities as early as possible.
The cleaned pulp suspension passes directly one after the other into the upstream thickening, which is preferably carried out with a filter device, for example with a sieve press, a disc filter or a screw press.

After thickening, the pulp has a much higher consistency (e.g. 15 to 30%) and is processed into the fabric, where one or more process steps are carried out that make this higher consistency necessary. This can e.g. usually be a dispersion with or without bleach, for which the auxiliaries are supplied in the form of energy and / or chemicals. After the high-consistency treatment, the fabric is diluted again.

At the end, the finished fiber suspension is provided in a fabric template for processing on the paper or board machine.
The paper or board machine is only hinted at here. Some of the white water that accumulates there can be used as dilution water in stock preparation, for example to provide some of the water for dissolution or to carry out additional dilution elsewhere.
In order to prevent part of the ash load from the paper machine from getting back into the stock preparation with the help of this dilution water, a later white water with a lower ash content, e.g. white water or press water, can be used.
Often, however, the proportion of fillers and fines is so high, even with this process water, that ash removal is necessary.
According to the figure, for this purpose the waste water 16 from the former 7 of the machine in which the sheet formation takes place is at least partially conveyed into a sorting and filtering device 1 in the form of a disc filter. The other part of the process water 16 of the former can be fed to a white water vat 5.

In the disc filter, the wastewater is then divided into several partial fractions 9, 10, which are generally referred to as fiber filtrate, cloudy filtrate, clear filtrate or super clear filtrate.
The figure shows the division into a partial fraction 9 with a high fiber content, which corresponds to the fiber filtrate, and into another partial fraction 10 with a low fiber content.

Both sub-fractions 9, 10 still contain a great deal of fine and fillers, i.e. ash. In order to reduce the ash content, therefore, at least part of the partial fraction 9 has a high fiber content and the other partial fraction 10 has a low fiber content Fiber content and, if necessary, also process water from the white water vat 5 to a washing device 2.

In this washing device 2, a high concentration of the fines and fillers in their fine fraction 12 can also be achieved due to the low stock density.
The coarse fraction 11 of the washing device 2 contains a high proportion of fibers and a relatively low proportion of fines and fillers and can therefore be used without problems in the stock preparation or in the constant part of the machine. The coarse fraction 11 of the washing device 2 is therefore returned to a material vat 6, possibly via a buffer vat 18.
Known inclined screens, curved screens, drum thickeners, etc. are suitable as washing device 2.

The fine and filler-rich fine fraction 12 of the washing device 2 arrives here, for example, together with chemicals 14 for stock preparation and process water 13 from the press section 8 of the paper machine in a flotation device 3 in the form of a decompression flotation device.

While the reject 17 of this flotation device 3 is discarded or reused in one or another machine for the production of a pulp web, the accept 15 of the flotation device 3 can be fed as dilution water to the paper machine or the upstream stock preparation, here to the white water vat 5.
In addition to fine and fillers, this flotation device 3 can also be used to separate out micro stickies in reject 17.

The press section 8 serves to dewater the fibrous web, which for this purpose is guided through one or more roller press nips together with press felts. The process water 13 of the press section 8 therefore also has a considerable proportion of felt hair, which is removed by means of a sorting device 4 before being fed into the flotation device 3 and / or the washing device 2.

The plant unit with the washing device 2 and the flotation device 3 can be in constant operation to discharge ash from the process.

However, in order to increase the strength of the fibrous web, it can only be switched on when the fibrous web has a low grammage.

It is also possible, via the proportion of the partial fractions 9, 10 of the sorting or filtering device 1 fed to the washing device 2, to change the extent of the amount of fine and fillers separated from the process.
The more ash that is discharged, the lower the proportion of fine and filler materials in the fibrous web, so that this can be controlled or regulated via this system unit.
