Definitions

  • the invention relates to metal shelves configured to equip display devices for merchandise articles, as well as such devices, in particular gondolas, intended to be placed in retail stores, for example supermarkets.
  • These shelves have a flat metal top panel having side ends that are bent downward from the flat portion of the top panel, side braces disposed below the top panel against the folded side ends of that panel, and also longitudinal reinforcing pieces also disposed under the upper panel and extending between two lateral reinforcing pieces from one of the lateral ends towards the other of the lateral ends.
  • the longitudinal reinforcement pieces are each attached to two side reinforcement pieces, which are themselves attached to the folded side ends of the top panel.
  • the document EP 0 087 696 A2 discloses a shelf comprising a shelf panel and at least one ledge comprising a first portion extending downward from the panel, and a second portion folded inwardly so as to extend toward the underside of the panel shelf generally parallel to and spaced from the first part, and a reinforcing member located between said first and second parts and which extends upwardly towards the underside of the shelf panel and in engagement with this one.
  • These shelves have an upper panel formed for example from two metal sheets between which is interposed and glued a reinforcing plate, of corrugated or honeycomb shape.
  • the invention proposes to provide a metal shelf configured to equip a device for displaying merchandise of a type similar to those described above, which is particularly robust while being simple, economical and convenient to use. than at manufacturing.
  • a subject of the invention is thus, in a first aspect, a metal shelf constructed according to claim 1.
  • the arrangement of the tablet according to the invention, and in particular the formation of the first and second side folds, makes it possible to provide the tablet with very good resistance to the contact points formed by its first and second sides, through which the tablet is mounted on the device.
  • This resistance at the points of contact is further improved by the formation of the stopper which locks the shelf in position on the device for presenting articles of merchandise, at these points of contact.
  • the arrangement of the tab in the first and second side folds of the first and second sides of the shelf, respectively, and in particular the fact that it faces the inside of the shelf, is particularly convenient and economical. Indeed, the situation of this cleat is safe in that it cannot be accidentally hung from the outside of the tablet, and allows increased compactness of the tablet in that this tab does not protrude outward from the tablet.
  • the invention also relates, in a second aspect, to a device for presenting articles of merchandise, comprising a base, two vertical uprights extending from the base, a bottom panel interposed between the two vertical uprights, as well as 'a plurality of shelves as described above, which are hung cantilevered on the vertical uprights, from at least one side of the bottom panel, and which extend opposite the base.
  • the device further comprises at least one console configured to be fixed to at least one of the vertical uprights, the console having a vertical slot opening onto an upper mounting edge. and configured to receive said locking tab so as to lock the shelf in position on the console and to maintain the shelf vis-à-vis the respective vertical post.

  • the supporting portion 97 further has a lower supporting edge 105 partially extending the lower mounting edge 99 from its curved portion, and joining the upper supporting edge 103, opposite to the mounting portion 96.
  • the support portion 97 here further has a circular hole 106 formed at the end of the latter and near the junction between its upper and lower support edges 103 and 105.
