    - wherein the closing means (4) is formed of a closure body (13) of approximately bar-shaped configuration which, firstly, is guided, on a first shell (2), in first holes (14) on internal guide projections (15),
    - and which, secondly, engages by way of its free ends (16', 16'') in second holes (17) on retaining projections (18) which are integrally formed on the opposite second shell (3) which is to be fastened, and
    - a first one of the free ends (16") of the bar-shaped closure body (13) is bent through 180° and thus runs parallel to the profile of the closure body (13) so as to point in the same direction as the second free end (16'), such that the two free ends (16', 16"), by way of the same linear displacement of the closure body, engage in the two holes (17) of the retaining projections (18).
  2. Carrying aid (1) for shopping bags and other containers provided with carrying handles according to Claim 1,
