Die Erfindung betrifft eine Sicherung der Position von Gehstützen, insbesondere Unterarmstützen, Stocken und dergleichen orthopädischen Stütz- und Gehhilfen (Oberbegriff des Anspruches 1). Personen, welche auf derartige Gehstützen angewiesen sind, kommen wiederholt in die Lage, daß sie1 die jeweilige Gehstütze, bzw. die Gehstützen loslassen müssen, um mit der Hand eine bestimmte Arbeit oder Manipulation vornehmen zu können. Hierbei ist beispielsweise an das Herausholen eines Schlüsselbundes zum Öffnen der Haustür, an das Herausholen einer Geldbörse beim Bezahlen an einer Kasse, das Einsteigen in ein Verkehrsmittel, bei dem die Hand zum Erfassen eines Griffes benötigt wird, und dergleichen mehr gedacht. Wenn kein Helfer zur Verfügung steht, der in solchen Fällen die Gehstütze vorübergehend an sich nimmt, muß die Gehstütze irgendwo abgelegt, z.B. beim Bezahlen an einer Kasse an den Kassentisch angelehnt werden. Dabei besteht die Gefahr, daß die Gehstütze von der jeweiligen Anlagefläche oder -kante abrutscht und hinfällt. Es muß also die Länge des Halteelementes 4 nur einmal auf die Höhe ihrer Anbringung an der Gehstütze bzw. den Gehstützen, die Körpergröße des Benutzers und die es haltende Körperstelle (bevorzugt Hals und Schulter) eingestellt werden, um alle Anforderungen sowohl bei Benutzung der Gehstützen, als auch bei deren Loslassen (zwecks Benutzung der Hände zu irgendeiner Manipulation) zu erfüllen.According to the embodiment, the holding element is a band or belt made of an elastic material, e.g. a so-called rubber band. Es versteht sich, daß im Rahmen der Erfindung der Aufsteckschuh oder ein analoges Teil auch anders ausgebildet sein kann. Wesentlich ist eine leicht und problemlos durchzuführende Anbringung am Stützrohr 5 und eine ebenso leicht und problemlos durchzuführende Lösbarkeit dieser Halterung vom Stützrohr 5. It is essential that it can be attached to the support tube 5 easily and without problems and that this holder can be removed from the support tube 5 just as easily and without problems. The respective holder, here the slip-on shoe 10, must be adapted in its dimensions to the diameter of the support tube.

Securing the position of walking supports, in particular forearm supports, sticks and similar orthopaedic support and walking aids, characterized in that an elongated holding element (4) is attached or can be attached to the respective walking support (3), and that the elongated holding element is dimensioned to be long enough that when attached to the body it holds the respective walking support or walking supports (3) in a substantially vertical position at least when they are supported on the ground (9).
