Der in der Zeichnung dargestellte Transportbehälter 10 ist einstückig aus einem Partikelschaumstoff gefertigt. Er weist einen Boden 12 auf und eine einen zu einer Oberseite 15 offenen Aufnahmeraum 14 rings umrandende Seitenwand 16. Die Seitenwand 16 wiederum weist zwei erste Wandabschnitte 18 und zwei zweite Wandabschnitte 20 auf. Die ersten Wandabschnitte 18 weisen jeweils zwei erste Wandpartien 22a, 22b auf, die ausgehend von einer der vier Ecken 24 des Aufnahmeraums 14 im rechten Winkel zueinander verlaufen. Dabei liegen sich die längeren ersten Wandpartien 22a diametral gegenüber und die kürzeren ersten Wandpartien 22b liegen sich ebenfalls diametral gegenüber. Die beiden längeren ersten Wandpartien 22a weisen dabei dieselbe Länge auf, während die kürzeren ersten Wandpartien 22b ebenfalls dieselbe Länge aufweisen. Die beiden zweiten Wandabschnitte 20 weisen jeweils zwei zweite Wandpartien 26a, 26b auf, die wiederum im rechten Winkel zueinander von einer der Ecken 24 ausgehen. Die längeren zweiten Wandpartien 26a liegen einander wieder diametral gegenüber und haben dieselbe Länge. Ebenso liegen die kürzeren zweiten Wandpartien 26b einander diametral gegenüber und haben dieselbe Länge. Alle Wandpartien 22a, 22b, 26a, 26b weisen zudem dieselbe Dicke auf und vom Boden an gemessen dieselbe Höhe.The
Die längeren ersten Wandpartien 22a verlaufen jeweils parallel zur längeren zweiten Wandpartie 26a des benachbarten zweiten Wandabschnitts 20 und sind dieser gegenüber um ihre Dicke seitlich versetzt. Desweiteren verlaufen die kürzeren ersten Wandpartien 22b jeweils parallel zu einer kürzeren zweiten Wandpartie 26b des benachbarten zweiten Wandabschnitts 20 und sind dieser gegenüber um ihre Dicke seitlich versetzt. Dabei sind die ersten Wandabschnitte 18 ausgehend von einem rechteckigen Grundriss entlang der durch ihre Ecken 24 definierten Diagonalen nach außen versetzt, während die zweiten Wandabschnitte 20 gegenüber dem rechteckigen Grundriss entlang der durch ihre Ecken 24 definierten Diagonalen nach innen versetzt sind.
