Description

The present invention relates to a carrying basket which is open on one side. The carrying basket according to the invention, which is open on one side, is particularly suitable for carrying firewood. The carrying basket, which is open on one side, has a base, a first side wall, a second side wall and a rear wall. The carrying basket is provided with a handle for carrying, but without a front wall and without a top wall.

The invention also relates to a method for producing a carrying basket that is open on one side. The carrying basket open on one side comprises a base, a first side wall, a second side wall, a rear wall and a handle element for carrying the carrying basket open on one side.

State of the art

The German utility model specification DE 202 13 781 U1 discloses a firewood storage and transport container. The storage and transport container for firewood consists of a two-part folding base made of square tubes. Grid mats are attached to the folding floor. These mesh panels are attached to the frame by means of hinges. This means that the folding floor can swing away downwards. A disadvantage of the storage and transport container for firewood is that due to the grid mats, dust and pieces of small wood can fall out unhindered, which can lead to unwanted soiling of the rooms.

The German patent DE 10 2009 035 535 B4 discloses a foldable shopping basket. The shopping basket consists of a flexible material that forms a trough. The tray of the shopping basket can be folded out of the frame on both sides, with the container or tray for the items to be bought or the items to be transported opening up.

The German utility model specification DE 2009 001 055 U1 discloses a foldable carrying device. The carrying device is preferably carried in one hand for transport. The goods to be transported can be placed on a shelf. The shelf is open at the front and back so that dirt, such as dust or small pieces of wood, can fall out unhindered.

The German utility model specification DE 20 2010 002 198 U1 discloses a container. The container has a bottom surface, two end surfaces and two side surfaces. Likewise, an upper peripheral edge is provided End faces and the side faces are limited at the top. The container can be injection molded from plastic. A disadvantage of this container, which is closed on all sides, is that it is not easy to load or remove firewood.

The Korean utility model KR 2020090007636 U discloses a collapsible carrycot consisting of a floor and four side walls. The side walls have a grid structure.

The US patent US 4,852,520A discloses a pet carrier. The carrier is closed on all sides and has a door for placing the pet in the carrier and a carrying handle attached to a top of the carrier.

The European patent application EP 3 162 197 A1 discloses a foldable small animal carrier. The transport box is closed on all sides and has an essentially triangular cross section. At least the side walls are perforated in order to allow an air supply.

The US patent US 5,823,137A discloses a waste bin having a screen assembly pivotally mounted within the bin.

The British Patent GB 192, 186A reveals a garbage shovel. The garbage shovel is designed as a carrying basket with a bottom and four sides. The garbage shovel is open at the top.

The US patent US 1,826,605A discloses a grass catcher attachable to a lawn mower.

The US patent US 5,385,387A discloses a child seat attached to a base. The child seat can be attached to the base and removed from the base by means of a fastener.

The Chinese patent application CN 103815640A discloses a bag that can be made with an injection molding process. The bag, which has a bottom and four side walls, can be assembled from the development. The bag has a handle element formed on each side wall.

The Chinese utility model CN 201188949 Y apparently a bag composed of individual parts that can be produced by an injection molding process. The bag has a handle element formed on each side wall.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a carrying basket open on one side, with the z. B. Firewood can be transported to living rooms, stored and easily removed without dirt particles, etc. falling out of the firewood stacked in the carrying basket, which is open on one side.

This object is achieved by a carrying basket which is open on one side and comprises the features of claim 1 .

Furthermore, it is an object of the invention to provide a method for producing a carrying basket open on one side, with which a carrying basket open on one side can be formed, with the z. B. Firewood can be transported to living rooms, stored and easily removed without dirt particles, etc. falling out of the firewood stacked in the carrying basket, which is open on one side.

This object is achieved by a method for producing a carrying basket which is open on one side and which comprises the features of claim 7 .

The carrying basket according to the invention, which is open on one side, consists at least of a base, a first side wall, a second side wall and a rear wall. Furthermore, a grip element is provided, which is used to carry the carrying basket, which is open on one side. A lip is formed on one of the edges of the floor opposite the back wall. A level of the free end of the lip is spaced above a level of the floor by a distance. In addition, two end members are provided, with a first end member connecting the lip to the first side wall and a second end member connecting the lip to the second side wall.

The formation of the lip on the unilaterally open carrying basket has the advantage that z. B. with firewood stacked in a carrying basket open on one side, no dirt from the firewood can fall out during transport and/or storage in the living areas. In addition, the carrying basket according to the invention, which is open on one side, can be designed individually. Any handles regarding shape and design, any handle elements and graphic designs of the outer side surfaces of the carrying basket can be made.

The bottom, the first side wall, the second side wall and the rear wall each have a plane and printable outer side surfaces, and a plane and printable inner side surfaces. In an embodiment not according to the invention, the first side wall, the second side wall and the back wall can be manufactured as a development. When assembling the carrying basket, the first side wall, the second side wall and the rear wall are then attached to the floor. The handle element is also manufactured separately and can then be attached to the side walls of the carrying basket, which is open on one side. This modular construction of the carrying basket, which is open on one side, has the advantage that parts of the carrying basket, which is open on one side, can be exchanged at any time, according to the customer's wishes. For example, should a customer wish to have seasonal sidewalls on the unilaterally open carrier, the transaction can be swapped out so that the carrier ultimately has new sidewalls. The same also applies to the handle element.

In an embodiment according to the invention of the carrying basket which is open on one side, the base, the first side wall, the second side wall, the rear wall and the handle element are produced as separate individual parts. The base, the first side wall, the second side wall and the rear wall each have a plurality of fixing elements for assembling the individual parts to form a carrying basket which is open on one side. The first side wall, the second side wall, the rear wall and the bottom can be connected to one another in a non-positive manner or in a non-positive and positive manner via the fixing elements.

Several feet are detachably attached to the outer side surface of the floor. The shape of the feet can be designed arbitrarily. The material of the feet can be chosen arbitrarily. Thus, all/any customer requests can be taken into account when designing the carry basket, which is open on one side.

The handle element includes a handle that can be attached to at least one mounting means. That Mounting means themselves can be attached to the first side wall and the second side wall, be attached via appropriate fixing elements. This also has the advantage that both the mounting means and the handle itself can be chosen as desired in terms of its shape, material and equipment. For example, it is possible for a light source to be integrated in the handle. An LED is preferred as the illuminant.

According to a possible embodiment, a single assembly means can be provided. The mounting means has a first mounting bar and a second mounting bar. The first fastening bar can be detachably connected to a fixing element on the upper edge of the first side wall and the second fastening bar can be detachably connected to a fixing element on the upper edge of the second side wall. The connection between the side walls and the gripping element can, for example, be non-positive and/or positive. The handle is detachably attached along an axis of symmetry of the mounting means.

According to a further embodiment, the handle element comprises a plurality of mounting means which are each mounted on the first side wall and on the second side wall. The handle connects the two mounting means. In this embodiment, it is possible for a user to carry the carrying basket, which is open on one side, by the handle, but also with both hands on the mounting means.

In the carrying basket according to the invention, which is open on one side, at least the first side wall, the second side wall and the rear wall can consist of a polyamide filled with glass fibers. Polyamide of the type PA 66 is particularly preferably used for the carrying basket which is open on one side. The base material for PA 66 is hexamethylenediamine and adipic acid. The melting point of PA 66 is around 260 °C. The proportion of glass fibers is preferably 30%.

The carrying basket according to the invention, which is open on one side, can also be provided with an insert. Here, too, the lip secures the insert from falling out of the carrying basket, which is open on one side. The insert itself is designed in such a way that it essentially sits in a form-fitting manner in the carrying basket, which is open on one side. Since the carrying basket according to the invention, which is open on one side, has an essentially trapezoidal cross section, the insert also has a corresponding trapezoidal cross section. The essentially form-fitting fit in the carrying basket, which is open on one side, is thus ensured by the identity of the cross-sectional shape.

With the method according to the invention, a carrying basket open on one side can be produced. The carrying basket, which is open on one side, essentially consists of one Floor, a first side wall, a second side wall, a rear wall and a handle element which is used to carry the carrying basket. First, the base, the first side wall, the second side wall, the rear wall and the handle element are produced in an injection molding process. Before assembling the carrying basket can on an outer side surface of at least the first side wall, the second side wall and/or the rear wall can be given a surface finish. The carrying basket, which is open on one side, is assembled in such a way that the fixing element on a first side edge of the base interacts with the fixing element on a bottom edge of the first side wall. Furthermore, the fixing element on a second side edge of the base interacts with the fixing element on a base edge of the second side wall. The fixing element of a rear edge of the base cooperates with the fixing element on a base edge of the rear wall. The fixing element on a first side edge of the rear wall interacts with the fixing element on a rear edge of the first side wall. Likewise, the fixing element on a second side edge of the rear wall interacts with the fixing element on a rear edge of the second side wall.

Claims (8)

1. Holding basket (1) open on one side, comprising a bottom (3), a first side wall (5), a second side wall (7), a rear wall (9), and a handle element (10) for carrying the holding basket (1), but without a front wall and without a top wall, wherein the holding basket (1) further comprises:

   a lip (20) formed on an edge (24) of the bottom (3) opposite to the rear wall (9), wherein a level (14) of a free end (21) of the lip (20) is spaced above a level (15) of the bottom (3) by a distance (D), and

   two end elements (22), wherein a first end element (22) connects the lip (20) to the first side wall (5), and a second end element (22) connects the lip (20) to the second side wall (7),

   wherein the handle element (10) comprises at least one mounting means (11) and a handle (12) attachable to the at least one mounting means (11),

   wherein the at least one mounting means (11) is attached to the first side wall (5) and the second side wall (7),

   characterized in that

   the bottom (3), the first side wall (5), the second side wall (7) and the rear wall (9) are individual parts;

   a plurality of feet (18) are detachably attached to an outer side surface (4) of the bottom (3); and

   the first side wall (5), the second side wall (7), the rear wall (9) and the bottom (3) each comprise a plurality of fixing elements (50) via which the first side wall (5), the second side wall (7), the rear wall (9) and the bottom (3) are frictionally connected to one another.
2. Holding basket (1) open on one side according to claim 1, wherein the bottom (3), the first side wall (5), the second side wall (7) and the rear wall (9) each have a flat and printable outer side surface (4) and inner side surfaces (6).
3. Holding basket (1) open on one side according to claim 1, wherein the handle element (10) comprises a single mounting means (11) having a first fastening strip (35) and a second fastening strip (37), wherein the first fastening strip (35) is detachably connected to a fixing element (50) along an upper edge (60) of the first side wall (5), and the second fastening strip (37) is detachably connected to a fixing element (50) along an upper edge (64) of the second side wall (7), and wherein the handle (12) is fastenable along an axis of symmetry (S) of the mounting means (11).
4. Holding basket (1) open on one side according to claim 1, wherein the handle element (10) comprises two mounting means (11) mounted respectively on the first side wall (5) and the second side wall (7), the handle (12) interconnects the two mounting means (11), and the handle element (10) can be produced as a unit by an injection-molding process.
5. Holding basket (1) open on one side according to one of the preceding claims, wherein at least the first side wall (5), the second side wall (7) and the rear wall (9) are made of a polymer filled with glass fibers.
6. Holding basket (1) open on one side according to one of the preceding claims, wherein an insert (40) is provided for the holding basket (1), which insert (40) is seated in the holding basket (1) in a substantially form-fitting manner.
7. Method for producing a holding basket (1) open on one side according to one of claims 1 to 6, wherein the holding basket (1) comprises a bottom (3), a first side wall (5), a second side wall (7), a rear wall (9), and a handle element (10) for carrying the holding basket (1), characterized by the following steps:

   injection-molding of the bottom (3), the first side wall (5), the second side wall (7), the rear wall (9) and the handle element (10);

   applying a surface finish to an outer side surface (4) of at least the first side wall (5), the second side wall (7) and/or the rear wall (9);

   assembling the bottom (3), the first side wall (5), the second side wall (7) and the rear wall (9) by means of fixing elements (50) provided on the bottom (3), the first side wall (5), the second side wall (7) and the rear wall (9); and

   attaching the handle element (10), wherein fixing elements (50) are provided at an upper edge (60) of the first side wall (5) and an upper edge (64) of the second side wall (7), by means of which the handle element (10) is fixed to the holding basket (1).
8. Method according to claim 7, wherein during assembly of the holding basket (1), the fixing element (50) at a first side edge (55) of the bottom (3) cooperates with the fixing element (50) at a bottom edge (59) of the first side wall (5), the fixing element (50) at a second side edge (56) of the bottom (3) cooperates with the fixing element (50) at a bottom edge (63) of the second side wall (7), the fixing element (50) of a rear edge (57) of the bottom (3) cooperates with the fixing element (50) at a bottom edge (53) of the rear wall (9), the fixing element (50) at a first side edge (51) of the rear wall (9) cooperates with the fixing element (50) at a rear edge (61) of the first side wall (5), and the fixing element (50) at a second side edge (52) of the rear wall (9) cooperates with the fixing element (50) at a rear edge (65) of the second side wall (7).
