The cleaning devices in question here may be cleaning sponges or cleaning cloths as they are used in the home. For example, such cleaning devices are used as rinsing sponges for cleaning dishes, cookware, etc.

In particular, for reasons of hygiene, it is necessary that the cleaning devices used can dry as quickly as possible in order to prevent the formation of germs. For this purpose, the devices are usually hung on a faucet or placed on a designated tray.

It is problematic that the sometimes spotty cleaning devices are extremely unsightly, so that the user does not want to hang them in a prominent place on the faucet. Special shelves for cleaning devices take away space and usually also allow no discrete, unobtrusive storage of the cleaning device. If a cleaning sponge or cleaning cloth is placed only in a washing or sink, complete and rapid drying is not guaranteed.

The present invention is therefore based on the object, a cleaning device of the type mentioned in such a way and further develop that with structurally simple means a hygienic and discreet storage is possible.

According to the invention the above object is achieved by the features of claim 1. Thereafter, the cleaning device in question is characterized in that in the base body at least one magnetizable element is arranged, so that the base body by means of magnetic force releasably on a wall can be fixed.

In accordance with the invention, it has first been recognized that the underlying object can be achieved in a surprisingly simple manner in that the cleaning device can be detachably fixed to a wall by means of a magnetic force effect. This may be, for example, the lateral wall of a sink. In a further inventive manner, at least one magnetizable element is arranged in the base body for this purpose. The magnetizable element may in particular be arranged near the surface or in the center of the main body. By this constructive measure, it is possible to arrange the cleaning device within the sink, so that the device can dry quickly and is set discretely within the sink. Since the magnetizable element itself is not formed as a magnet, it can be fixed in any orientation on the wall, without having to pay attention to the orientation of a magnetic pole. Another advantage is that liquid from the cleaning device can run directly into the sink.

Concretely, it is conceivable that the cleaning device may be a scourer, a dishwashing sponge, a sponge cloth, a cleaning sponge or a cleaning cloth. The term "magnetizable" is to be understood in the broadest sense. It is essential that a force can be exerted on the magnetizable element via a magnet, in particular permanent magnets, so that the cleaning device can be fixed to an oblique or vertical wall. The wall may for example be part of a sink, a shower cubicle, a bathtub, a radiator, a fitting and / or a refrigerator.

Advantageously, the magnetizable element may be flexible and / or elastic. This ensures that the handling of the cleaning device with respect to a conventional cleaning sponge remains unchanged, namely, can squeeze or wring.

It is conceivable that the magnetizable element made of metal, for example steel or steel wool exists. Of advantage is the use of stainless steel, especially stainless steel strips, which have a width of 0.5 mm to 5 mm, in particular from 0.5 mm to 4 mm, for example from 0.5 mm to 2 mm, preferably of 1 mm. In a particularly advantageous manner, the magnetizable element may be formed as a woven or nonwoven fabric - formed for example from the above-described stainless steel strip. As a result, a large-area arrangement is possible, which has a high degree of flexibility or elasticity. Alternatively, it is conceivable that the magnetizable element is formed of mat or foil. Regardless of the specific embodiment, the magnetizable element can be designed in multiple layers.
