- the blanks 39 can either be cut out of a continuous web of material 64, as shown in FIG.
- the material web 64 is first guided over transport rollers 65 and transported by means of a pair of feed rollers 66 in the region of a cutting unit 67, where individual blanks 39 are separated out of the material web 64 and transferred to the transfer roller 63. There, the blanks 39 are held by means of negative pressure on the circumference. The remaining material web 64 is wound up again after the cutting unit 67. If the blanks 39 can be separated without waste from the material web 64, this step can of course be omitted.
