Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a laundry care device with a control.
  • pumping systems are used to pump washing liquid out of the tub into a line by means of a pumping device, and the washing liquid pumped out into the line by means of the pumping device of the laundry, which is located in a washing drum accommodated in the tub, to feed it again Wet laundry again with washing liquid.
  • the pumped-around washing liquid can wet the laundry to a different extent and thus different amounts of washing liquid may be present in the tub during the pumping-over process.
  • the pumping process should advantageously be controlled in dependence on the laundry load of the laundry in the laundry drum in order to completely empty the suds container and on the other hand low pumping capacity and thus to avoid insufficient wetting of the laundry in the laundry drum.
  • the patent DE 10 2014 220 021 B3 describes a laundry care device with a control element.
  • the object according to the invention is achieved by a laundry care device with a tub for holding washing liquid, a laundry drum for holding laundry being arranged in the tub, the tub comprising a drain opening, the laundry care device having a drain opening Has inlet nozzle for introducing washing liquid into the washing drum, the outlet opening being fluidically connected to the inlet nozzle by a line, a pumping device for pumping washing liquid being arranged in the line, the pumping device being designed to pump washing liquid out of the tub through the outlet opening , and to pump the pumped washing liquid through the line and through the inlet nozzle back into the washing drum arranged in the tub to rewet the washing in the washing drum with washing liquid, and a controller for controlling the pumping device, the controller being designed At the beginning of a pumping-over period, to activate a pumping operation of the pumping device in order to pump washing liquid out of the tub through the drain opening, and to feed the pumped-out washing liquid through the line and through the inlet nozzle back to the laundry in the laundry drum
  • control enables a particularly effective detection of the laundry load in the laundry drum by detecting the duration of the pumping-over period.
  • the washing liquid Since the washing liquid is sprayed onto the laundry in the laundry drum from above through the inlet nozzle during the pumping process, the washing liquid is passed through the laundry by gravity during the pumping process and flows back into the tub at a lower region of the laundry drum. Part of the washing liquid passed through the laundry is bound by the laundry and is thus retained by the laundry.
  • the control ensures that the pumping operation of the pumping device is deactivated and the pumping period is ended when the volume flow of the washing liquid pumped by the pumping device reaches a volume flow threshold falls below.
  • a volume flow threshold falls below.
  • the size of the proportion of the washing liquid retained by the laundry depends on the laundry load in the laundry drum. If there is only a very small amount of laundry in the laundry drum, only a small part of washing liquid is bound by the laundry and the majority of the washing liquid is passed through the laundry and is thus available to the pumping device in a timely manner. With small to medium loads of laundry, the jet of the inlet nozzle is directed directly onto the laundry and can advantageously wet the laundry, so that the washing liquid takes a longer time to be passed through the laundry. Consequently, with smaller to medium laundry loads, a smaller amount of washing liquid is available to be pumped around by the pumping device and the duration of the pumping period is reduced.
  • the jet injected through the inlet nozzle into the laundry drum bounces off the laundry and flows into the tub without wetting the laundry sufficiently. Since the pumping device has a larger amount of washing liquid available, a longer duration of the pumping period can be made possible.
  • the laundry load in the sense of the invention comprises the laundry weight assuming a certain absorption behavior of the laundry.
  • This effective determination of the laundry load in the laundry drum can be carried out in a particularly time-saving manner and also with greater accuracy than in conventional determination methods.
  • this effective determination of the laundry load in the laundry drum can be carried out in comparison to conventional determination methods with significantly lower fill levels of washing liquid in the tub.
  • it can be advantageous to also record the load type, in particular the laundry type, in order to take into account the influence of different textiles on the detection of the laundry load of the laundry.
  • a laundry care device is understood to mean a device which is used for laundry care, such as a washing machine or dryer.
  • a laundry care device is understood to mean a household laundry care device. So a laundry care device, which is used in the context of housekeeping, and with which laundry is treated in normal household quantities.
  • the laundry care device has a washing liquid supply for supplying washing liquid to the laundry in the laundry drum, and the controller is designed to activate the washing liquid supply in a supply period in order to supply a first amount of washing liquid to the laundry in the laundry drum and to wet the laundry, wherein the pumping period follows the feed period.
  • the supply of the first amount of washing liquid by the washing liquid supply enables the laundry to be adequately wetted during the supply period. This ensures during the pumping period following the feed period that effective wetting of the laundry is made possible during the pumping period, since lightly wetted laundry can be moistened more effectively than completely dry laundry.
  • the first amount of washing liquid is carried out in the washing drum, in particular independently of the laundry load.
  • the pumping device can be activated or deactivated during the feeding period.
  • the laundry care device has a pressure detection device for detecting a pressure value of washing liquid in the tub, the pressure detection device being designed to detect a pressure value during the pumping-over period, and the controller being designed to depend on the laundry load in the laundry drum to be determined from the recorded duration of the pumping period and from the recorded pressure value.
  • the pressure value detected by the pressure detection device enables the control to determine the laundry load in the laundry drum more precisely. Since the laundry binds a portion of the washing liquid pumped around during the pumping process, the amount of free, unbound washing liquid in the pumping system is generally less at the end of the pumping period than at the beginning of the pumping period. The detected pressure value can thus improve the accuracy of the determination of the laundry load.
  • the pressure detection device detects the pressure difference between the pressure values at the beginning and after the end of the pumping-over period and thereby enables the control to determine the laundry load more precisely.
  • the pressure detection device can also in particular detect a pressure difference during a standstill phase of the washing drum.
  • control is designed to determine the laundry load in the laundry drum as a function of the duration of the pumping-over period when the detected pressure value falls below a predetermined pressure threshold value.
  • the pressure value detected by the pressure detection device is only taken into account by the control when determining the laundry load if there is a sufficient liquid level of washing liquid in the tub at the beginning of the pumping-over period is available. If the pressure value recorded at the beginning of the pumping-over period falls below the predetermined pressure threshold value and there is therefore insufficient washing liquid in the pumping system, the control ignores the recorded pressure value when determining the laundry load.
  • the laundry care device has a power detection element for detecting an electrical power value of the pumping device, the controller being designed to deactivate the conveying operation of the pumping device and to end the second pumping period when the recorded electrical power value falls below a reference power value, whereby the reference power value corresponds to an electrical power value of the pumping device when pumping the washing liquid with the volume flow threshold value.
  • the power detection element comprises a current sensor for detecting a supply current of the pumping device.
  • the laundry care device has a drum drive for rotating the laundry drum, the controller being designed to activate the drum drive during the pumping-over period in order to rotate the laundry drum, the drum drive being designed, in particular, the laundry drum during the pumping-over period to rotate in different directions of rotation.
  • the laundry care device has a flow sensor for detecting a flow rate of washing liquid in the line, the controller being designed to determine the laundry load in the laundry drum as a function of the duration of the pumping-over period and of the detected flow rate.
  • the flow rate of the washing liquid in the line which is detected by the flow sensor, enables the control system to determine the laundry load as a function of the duration of the pumping-over period and the duration of the detected flow rate and any other parameters, as a result of which an accurate Determination of the laundry load can be ensured.
  • the laundry care device has a weight detection device for detecting a weight of laundry in the laundry drum, the controller being designed to determine the laundry load in the laundry drum as a function of the duration of the pumping-over period and of the detected weight of the laundry .
  • the weight detection device for detecting a weight of laundry in the laundry drum enables the controller to determine the laundry load in the laundry drum more precisely.
  • the controller can take further parameters into account.
  • the weight detection device can enable a particularly precise determination of the laundry load by weighing the laundry in the laundry drum.
  • the weight detection device comprises a weighing device for weighing the weight of the laundry accommodated in the laundry drum, a device for detecting a lowering of a vibration system of the laundry drum and / or a device for detecting performance parameters of a drum drive of the laundry drum.
  • the weight of the laundry can be recorded by the weighing device after the laundry has been added to the laundry drum.
  • the laundry weight in the laundry drum can be determined before the washing liquor is fed into the tub.
  • the weight of the laundry in the laundry drum can be detected by the vibration system sagging under a laundry load.
  • the laundry drum comprises a swing system which is suspended on springs. If the spring constant is known and the springs are stretched, it is possible to infer the force which is exerted on the vibration system by the weight of the laundry in the laundry drum. After taking into account the damping of the vibration system due to static friction and after taking into account the empty weight of the vibration system, the laundry weight of the laundry in the laundry drum can be concluded from the sagging of the vibration system of the laundry drum.
  • the electrical power being determined by a Power entry element can be determined.
  • the electrical energy required to drive the drum drive with a certain rotation frequency depends on the weight of the laundry in the laundry drum.
  • the weight of the laundry in the laundry drum can be determined by comparing the electrical energy required for the rotation of the laundry drum with predetermined calibration data.
  • the laundry care device has a textile detection device for detecting a type of laundry of laundry in the laundry drum, and the control is designed to determine the laundry load in the laundry drum as a function of the duration of the pumping-over period and of the detected laundry type of the laundry .
  • the determination of the laundry load in the laundry drum can be improved by the control system by detecting the laundry type of the laundry in the laundry drum by the textile detection device. Since different types of laundry, which consist of different textiles, have different washing liquid absorption properties, the accuracy of the determination of the laundry load can be improved by the control by an accurate detection of the textile type of the laundry.
  • the object is achieved by a method for determining a laundry load in a laundry care device, the laundry care device having a suds container for holding washing liquid, a laundry drum being arranged in the suds container for holding laundry, the suds container having a drain opening , wherein the laundry care device comprises an inlet nozzle, the outlet opening being fluidly connected to the inlet nozzle by a line, a pumping device for pumping washing liquid being arranged in the line, the pumping device being designed to pump washing liquid out of the tub through the outlet opening, and pumping the pumped-out washing liquid through the line and through the inlet nozzle back into the washing drum arranged in the tub to rewet the washing in the washing drum with washing liquid, the laundry care device ne control for Controlling the pumping device, the method comprising the following steps, activating a pumping operation of the pumping device at the beginning of a pumping period by the controller to pump washing liquid through the drain opening out of the tub and the pumped washing liquid through the line
  • the laundry care device has a washing liquid supply for supplying washing liquid to the laundry in the laundry drum
  • the method comprises the following step, activating the washing liquid supply at the beginning of a supply period by the controller in order to supply a first quantity of washing liquid to the laundry in the washing drum and to wet the laundry, the pumping period following the feed period and the controller deactivating the pumping device during the feed period.
  • the laundry care device has a pressure detection device for detecting a pressure value of washing liquid in the tub, and the method comprises the following steps, detection of a pressure value during the pumping period by the pressure detection device, and determining the laundry load in the laundry drum as a function of the duration of the pumping period and of the pressure value detected by the control.
  • the method comprises the following step, determining the laundry load of the laundry in the laundry drum as a function of the duration of the pumping-over period when the detected pressure value falls below a predetermined pressure threshold value.

  • the controller 123 is designed to determine the laundry load in the laundry drum 107 as a function of the duration of the pumping period.
  • the washing liquid supply 133 is activated in a first step during a supply period in order to supply a first amount of washing liquid to the laundry 109 and to wet the laundry 109.
  • the first quantity is loaded directly into the laundry drum 107, e.g. B. added through the cuff. Lightly moistened laundry 109 can be wetted better than dry laundry.
  • the supply of the first quantity of washing liquid thus enables a pumping-over period following the supply period to result in particularly effective pressure detection of the laundry.
  • the pumping device 117 is activated at the beginning of a pumping period following the supply period in order to pump washing liquid out of the tub 105 through the drain opening 111, and the pumped washing liquid through the line 113 and through the inlet nozzle 115 again to the laundry 109 in the laundry drum 107 feed.

  • the pumped-around washing liquid is sucked up to different degrees by different laundry loads of laundry 109.
  • the pumping device 117 only remains activated until washing liquid is no longer available for the pumping process, in order to prevent the pumping device 117 from pumping empty and drawing in air.
  • a method is used to prevent an air-water mixture from the pumping device 117 from being conveyed.
  • the controller 123 is designed to deactivate the pumping operation of the pumping device 117 and to end the pumping period when the volume flow of those pumped by the pumping device 117 Washing liquid falls below a volume flow threshold. This can be made possible in particular by the power detection element 119, which detects an electrical power value of the pumping device 117 and compares the detected electrical power value of the pumping device 117 with an electrical reference power value.
  • the controller 123 can effectively detect the end of the pumping period and effectively determine the duration of the pumping period. Depending on the detected duration of the pumping period, the laundry load in the laundry drum 107 can advantageously be determined by the controller 123.
  • the pumping device 117 can be activated during a long pumping period, because the water flows through the washing drum 107 without a time delay and is immediately available to the pumping device 117.
  • the laundry drum 107 If, on the other hand, the laundry drum 107 is completely filled with laundry 109, then the laundry 109 acts like a wall for the washing liquid jet introduced through the injection nozzle 115. The washing liquid jet then bounces off the laundry 109 and for the most part flows directly back into the lower region of the tub 105 and can advantageously be pumped around from there by the pumping device 117. This enables a long duration of the pumping period.
  • the jet of washing liquid directed through the inlet nozzle 115 onto the laundry 109 falls directly onto the laundry 109 and can wet it better.
  • a higher layer thickness of the laundry 109 with an average loading quantity causes the washing liquid to take longer to flow through the laundry 109 in the laundry drum 107 into the lower region of the tub 105.
  • the washing liquid is advantageously bound by the laundry 109. Since the pumping device 117 thus has a smaller amount of washing liquid available, only a very short duration of the pumping period is possible.
  • the laundry 109 With a smaller layer thickness of the laundry 109 in the laundry drum 107, the laundry 109 absorbs the water better than the laundry wall described with a fully filled laundry drum 107, but worse due to the small layer thickness than with one medium loading, so that a longer duration of the pumping period is possible again.
  • the pressure detection device 121 can detect a first pressure value at the beginning of the pumping period. After the pumping device 117 has been deactivated by the controller 123, the pressure detection device 121 can detect a second pressure value after the pumping period has ended. Depending on the pressure difference between the first and second pressure values, the controller 123 can refine the determination of the laundry load as a function of the detected duration of the pumping period.
  • This step is only possible if the washing liquid level is sufficiently high. With a medium load, the laundry 109 has absorbed the most water and will have the lowest pressure values. A larger load of the laundry 109 leads to greater pressure values, since the water largely runs past the laundry 109 due to the laundry wall present in the laundry drum 107.
  • the detection of the pressure difference between the first pressure value and the second pressure value enables an additional safety or control mode when determining the laundry load in the laundry drum 107 as a function of the detected duration of the pumping period.
  • the same loading type of laundry 109 in particular the same type of textile, is used in the determination of the laundry load by the controller 123, a high accuracy and reproducibility of the load measurement can be made possible with the method described.
  • the method can be refined by using a textile detection device to determine the type of textile.
  • the method described here is an indirect measurement of the laundry load of laundry 109 and the accuracy and reproducibility is always inferior to the fluctuations of various influencing variables.
  • One advantage of this method is that load quantities can be identified more quickly, since the number of steps required to determine the laundry load is reduced. Also This method enables a determination of the loading at liquid levels of washing liquid which are below the pressure termination point, which is particularly advantageous in the case of a pumping system with low washing liquid levels at significantly lower water levels.
