The invention also relates to a household appliance with an electrical energy storage unit for charging with such a charging device.
In private households as well as in business, household appliances in the form of vacuum cleaners are used to clean surfaces such as textile floor coverings and smooth floors. To collect dust, a floor nozzle of the vacuum cleaner is continuously pushed back and forth on a floor surface.

The invention thus poses the problem of specifying an improved charging device and an improved household appliance. In particular, the charging of the electrical energy storage unit in a mobile household appliance is to be simplified.
According to the invention, this problem is solved by a charging device having the features of
The household appliance designed as a vacuum cleaner can have a fan for generating a negative pressure, by means of which a floor nozzle guided over a floor surface to be cleaned picks up dust and dirt from the floor surface. For this purpose, the floor nozzle is moved back and forth in the processing direction by the user by means of pushing and pulling movements. This causes the floor nozzle to slide over the floor surface to be cleaned. In the case of long-pile carpets in particular, the underside of the floor nozzle slides over the carpet, while the underside of hard floors is spaced apart, possibly by spacer bristles, floating over these floor surfaces. For this purpose, the user can, for example, handle a handle of the vacuum cleaner connected to the suction tube. So that the cleaning and care of the floor covering can be carried out as effectively as possible, the suction mouth is elongated and runs essentially transversely to the processing direction. In this context, elongated means that the preferably essentially rectangular suction mouth has a greater length transversely to the machining direction than the width in the machining direction. The suction mouth is preferably between 20 and 30 cm long transversely to the processing direction. The floor nozzle can also be arranged on an independently driving vacuum cleaner, in particular a robot vacuum cleaner. In a household appliance designed in this way, the processing direction of the floor nozzle corresponds to the direction of travel of the self-driving vacuum cleaner. A vacuum cleaner housing of the vacuum cleaner can be a Have dust receiving chamber in which the dust picked up via the floor nozzle can be collected in a dust bag, for example.
Advantageous refinements and developments of the invention emerge from the following dependent claims.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention it is provided that the interface has several contact points. Via the contact points of the interface, it is easily possible to contact a household appliance that has been pushed onto the charging device for the charging process. This enables a reliable electrical connection to be established between the charging device and the household appliance.
An advantageous embodiment is that the interface comprises two contact points, the contact points being positioned symmetrically to the center of the road from both opposite sides. The symmetrical arrangement of the contact points in relation to the center of the roadway enables reliable contact to be made with a household appliance that is driven onto the charging device to charge the energy storage unit. With the symmetrical arrangement, the household appliance can drive onto the roadway formed by the housing of the charging device from two opposite sides and contact can be reliably established. This makes the operation of the household appliance and the charging device easy.
A preferred embodiment provides that the interface comprises an electrical component for polarizing the contact points. In order to be able to correctly contact the household appliance that is driven onto the roadway formed by the housing from one of the two opposite sides to charge the electrical energy storage unit, the interface provided with two contact points has an electrical component with which the polarity of the contact points can be set or changed . In this case, the polarity of the contact points is adapted as a function of the side from which the household appliance has driven onto the roadway in order to charge the energy storage unit.
The embodiment that the interface comprises three contact points is also particularly advantageous, one contact point being arranged from both opposite sides in the middle of the roadway and the other two contact points being positioned symmetrically to the middle of the roadway from both opposite sides. In order to be able to contact the household appliance that is driven onto the roadway formed by the housing from one of the two opposite sides for charging the electrical energy storage unit, the interface has three contact points in a particularly simple embodiment. In this embodiment, the centrally arranged contact point makes contact with the household appliance regardless of which of the two opposite sides it is used to charge the energy storage unit Loading device is opened. The contact points arranged off-center are used for contacting depending on which of the opposite sides the household appliance is pushed onto the charging device for charging the energy storage unit.
The configuration is further advantageous in that the polarity of the contact points positioned symmetrically to the center of the roadway is the same. The centrally arranged contact point forms the negative or positive pole, the contact points arranged outside the center each forming the other pole. This enables simple contacting of the charging device with the opened household appliance, which does not require additional electrical components for the polarity of the contact points. Nevertheless, in order to charge the energy store, the household appliance can drive onto the roadway of the charging device from both opposite sides in the direction of travel.
An advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the interface comprises four contact points, the contact points being positioned in pairs from both opposite sides symmetrically to the center of the roadway. The pairwise arrangement of the contact points symmetrically to the center of the roadway makes the design of the household appliance flexible, since the pairwise arrangement enables a flexible arrangement of contact points of an interface on the household appliance. This allows the construction of the household appliance to be changed more flexibly and also different models and model series of the retractable household appliance can be provided with differently arranged contact points, which can be contacted via the contact points arranged in pairs for charging the energy storage unit by the charging device. The symmetrical arrangement of the contact points positioned in pairs enables the household appliance to be contacted for charging the electrical energy storage unit, regardless of which of the two opposite sides the household appliance has driven onto the roadway formed by the housing. This makes the operation of the household appliance flexible and enables constructive adaptations to be made across model series. In this way, the proposed charging device can be used for different model series of the household appliance without design changes to the charging device being necessary. This results in a universally usable charging device.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the contact points positioned in pairs are arranged one behind the other in the direction of travel, the polarity of the contact points being the same diagonal to the center of the roadway. This enables simple contacting of the charging device with the opened household appliance, which does not require additional electrical components for the polarity of the contact points. Yet can drive the household appliance to charge the energy storage device from both opposite sides in the direction of travel onto the roadway of the charging device.
The embodiment that the contact points of the interface are arranged on the roadway is also particularly advantageous. The arrangement of the contact points on the roadway of the charging device enables the driven household appliance to be contacted easily on the underside. In this way, contact points provided for this purpose can be arranged on the underside of the household appliance, so that the contact points are not visible during normal operation and the optical image of the household appliance is not impaired by the contact points.
A preferred embodiment provides that the contact points of the interface are resiliently mounted. Reliable contacting of the household appliance for charging the electrical energy store on the charging device can easily be achieved via spring-loaded contact points.
Another advantageous embodiment is that the housing forms at least one positioning device which is designed to position the household appliance that has been pushed onto the charging device opposite the interface. The position of the household appliance in the direction of travel on the roadway can be determined via such a positioning device. As a result, the household appliance can be reliably positioned with respect to the interface of the charger, so that the contacting of the opened household appliance through the interface is possible.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the positioning device is designed as a bulge, the bulge being designed to accommodate at least one movement element of the household appliance. Such a movement element can be designed as a wheel or runner and enable the mobile household appliance to move on the floor surface. With the fixed position of the recorded movement element on the household appliance, the positioning device can be used to reliably position the household appliance with respect to the interface of the charging device.
The invention also relates to a household appliance with an electrical energy storage unit and an interface for charging the electrical energy storage unit, the interface being designed to contact a charging device described in more detail below for charging the electrical energy storage unit.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the household appliance, it is provided that the interface has at least two contact points which are designed to be contacted by contact points of the charging device-side interface for charging the electrical energy storage unit on the charging device. With two contact points, an electrical connection for charging the energy storage unit can be established very easily via the interface.
The mobile household appliance is preferably a floor care device or vacuum cleaner for cleaning and care of floor surfaces with a fan to generate a negative pressure to absorb dirt by means of an air stream and a separation system to clean the air from dirt.
