Da somit eine einseitige Einspannung der Streben in den Steckaufnahmen im Sinne eines Biegeträgers entfällt, werden vorteilhafte Voraussetzungen für nicht zu sichernde Steckverbindungen geschaffen, weil die Streben durch die Zugmittelabspannungen im Steckeingriff gehalten und bei einer durch eine Hängemattenbenützung bedingten Druckbelastung in Richtung des Steckeingriffs belastet werden. Wegen der im Sinne von Druckstäben eingesetzten Streben können diese vergleichsweise leicht ausgebildet werden, was der Handhabung des Gestellkörpers beim Zusammenbau und beim Zusammenlegen zugutekommt, zumal keine hohe Passgenauigkeit zu fordern ist. Das dargestellte Traggestell weist einen Gestellkörper 1 mit zwei eine Gestelllängsachse bestimmenden Knotenstücken 2, 3 auf, die durch eine Längsstrebe 4 miteinander verbunden sind. Aufgrund der gegenseitigen Abspannung der Fußstreben 10 und des Tragarms 11 werden die sonst zu einer Biegebelastung des einseitig eingespannten Tragarms 11 führenden Belastungen durch einen Hängemattenbenützer von den Zugmitteln 13 aufgenommen und abgetragen, sodass der Tragarm 11, aber auch die Fußstreben 10 im Wesentlichen nur als Druckstäbe genützt werden, was eine vorteilhafte Voraussetzung für eine einfache, leicht zu handhabende Konstruktion darstellt. Zum Zusammenlegen der Gestellkörpers 1 brauchen zunächst lediglich die Zugmittel 13, 14 abgenommen zu werden, bevor die Streben aus den Steckaufnahmen 7, 8 und 9 der Knotenstücke 2, 3 herausgezogen werden und die Längsstrebe 4 in die Teilstreben 5, 6 zerlegt wird.
