Claims (4)
- A rail crane (7) for transporting rails (6), having a crane column (8) and, fastened thereon, a telescopic jib (9) which is connected to a telescoping part (17) displaceable in a longitudinal direction (16) of the jib and to a trolley (10) in engagement via a driving gearwheel (14) with a gear rack (15), characterized in that the telescoping part (17) comprises an engaging member (19), provided for connection to the trolley (10), for a first movement of the telescoping part (17) from a resting- into a working position, and that the telescoping part (17) is connected to an energy store (21) effective against the said first movement.
- A rail crane (7) according to claim 1, characterized in that the engaging member (19) is configured as a stop (20) at an end (18) of the displaceable telescoping part (17) spaced from the crane column (8).
- A rail crane (7) according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that a fixing device (25) is provided for fixing the telescoping part (17) in the working position.
- A rail crane (7) according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the energy store (21) is designed as a coil spring (26).
