Definitions
- the invention relates to a multi-functional plate made of wood and Bicomponentenmaschinen and a method for producing the multi-functional plate.
- Sheets of wood fibers and bicomponent fibers are known per se and are produced in different thicknesses and densities, depending on the intended application.
- An example of these products is a wood fiber insulation board with a content of softwood fibers of 91%, a share of bicomponent fiber (hereinafter: bicafiber) of 5% and a proportion of fire retardant of 4%.
- An example of such a board is the "best wood FLEX 50" - thermal insulation board, manufacturer: Holzwerk Gebr. Schneider GmbH, Eberhardzell, which has a weight of about 50 kg / m 3 .
- the multifunctional panel according to the invention comprises wood fibers and bicafes, wherein the proportion of wood fibers from 10 wt .-% to 90 wt .-% may be and the proportion of Bicohoteln may be corresponding to 90 wt .-% to 10 wt .-%.
- the density of the multifunctional plate can be from 100 kg / m 3 to 300 kg / m 3 .
- Wood fibers are typically fibers and fiber bundles obtained by defibering wood chips.
- the smaller sized fibers and fiber bundles collectively referred to herein as wood fibers, have lower Restoring forces as chips on.
- agglomerates of fibers preferably coarse fiber bundles of not completely separated fibers, whose length is 3 mm to 18 mm, are used for the multifunctional plate according to the invention. Preference is given to using wood fibers whose length is 6 mm to 12 mm. The diameter of the agglomerates is 100 ⁇ m to 3 mm.
- the coarse fibers which are used for the multifunctional plate according to the invention in comparison to the usually completely separated, finer fibers, which are used for the production of medium density or high density fiberboard, higher restoring forces. They have therefore proved to be suitable for the production of particularly lightweight fiberboard.
- the bicafes are made of two different components or materials.
- a core of core material is enveloped by a sheath of sheath material.
- Layered bicofibres may also be used, but preferred are sheathed fibers having a completely sheathed core.
- Typical core materials are polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or polyethylene. Coating material or iso-polyethylene terephthalate (co-PET or iso-PET) is preferably used as the jacket material.
- the bicafiber is solid at room temperature.
- the cladding material advantageously has the lowest possible melting point, in any case a lower melting point than the core material.
- the melting point of the shell material is preferably a melting point of at most 160 ° C, more preferably of at most 130 ° C, in particular a melting point of 90 ° C to 115 ° C. In this way, little energy is consumed to melt or melt the sheath of the bicofibres to achieve bonding of bico and wood fibers.
- the bicafes are used with a length that is advantageously shorter than the length of the wood fibers.
- Bicoricen are preferably used with a length of 0.5 mm to 30 mm, their diameter is usually 3 to 15, usually 4 to 9 den.
- the thinner bicarbon fibers are particularly easy to process into a homogeneous mixture with the wood fibers. In addition, they enable the formation of particularly fine and evenly distributed adhesive dots. According to a particularly preferred embodiment of the multifunctional plate according to the invention, this has no binder.
- the proportion of wood fibers is preferably 70 wt .-% to 40 wt .-%, while the proportion of Bicomaschinen is preferably 30 wt .-% to 60 wt .-%. According to a particularly advantageous embodiment, the proportion of wood fibers is 45 wt .-% to 55 wt .-% and the proportion of Bicomaschinen is 55 wt .-% to 45 wt .-%.
- the multifunctional plate according to the invention has only wood and bicafes.
- one or more of the following additives are added: fire retardants, fungicides, insecticides, algicides and water repellents.
- the additives may be applied to the outer surface of the multifunctional plate, but preferably they are added to the fibers prior to drying in the blow-line or fiber mixture prior to scattering to a fiber cake so that they are distributed over the cross-section of the plate. It is also conceivable that a part of the fibers is mixed with the additives and that this mixture is used for scattering outer layers of the multi-functional plate.
- the multifunctional panel according to the invention has a weight of at least 100 kg / m 3 to a maximum of 300 kg / m 3 , preferably a weight of 150 kg / m 3 to 250 kg / m 3 . It is thus heavier than known insulation boards, the weight of z. B. only 50 kg / m 3 have. However, the multi-functional plate according to the invention does much more. While known lightweight insulation boards have only low strength properties and in particular are not suitable to give fasteners hold, the multi-functional plate according to the invention has a compressive strength of z. B. 45 kPa to 55 kPa and a fferenauszugsfesttechnik of z. B. 65 N to 160 N on. These strength values are achieved with unchanged good thermal insulation values of 0.035 W / mK to 0.39 W / mK.
- the good strength properties make it possible to attach the multifunction plate without further aids, eg. B. to screw. It is possible to use the multi-functional plate as a supporting element a sandwich construction of several different plates.
- the multifunctional panel according to the invention has sufficient compressive strength and rigidity to coat it, which is well known, flexible thermal insulation boards is not possible.
- the increased strength of the multi-functional plate also allows the attachment of profiles, either by editing the edges or by applying separate profiles and the milling or sawing of the plate.
- the wood and bicarbon fibers are preferably mixed in several successive steps in order to obtain as homogeneous a mixture as possible.
- all fibers and optionally additives are mixed as a uniform mixture. This mixture is used to scatter and compact a single-layer board.
- two or more mixtures are prepared, wherein at least one mixture, for. B. the cover layer mixture in addition to the fibers also contains an additive.
- the topcoat mixture containing the additive is scattered as an outer layer, followed by a blend with or without other additives. Finally, the top layer mixture is scattered again.
- the fiber cake which is sprinkled from the fiber mixture (s), usually has a thickness of about 25 cm to 45 cm. This fiber cake is usually compressed to about 2% to 5% of the original thickness, so that the multi-functional plate has a thickness of 5 mm to 25 mm, preferably has a thickness of 10 mm to 15 mm.
- the compacting is preferably carried out by two circumferential, mutually inclined conveyor belts, of which the first is arranged below the fiber cake and the second obliquely inclined over the fiber cake.
- the maximum distance of the conveyor belts from each other is the greatest adjacent to the spreading of the fiber cake and the smallest adjacent to the heating.
- the revolving conveyor belts are sufficient to to compress the fiber cake by up to 98%; a press is not required.
- the conveyor belts preferably comprise belts of air-permeable material, but so dense that the fibers of the fiber cake are held between the conveyor belts.
- the fiber cake is already heated during compression to a temperature above ambient temperature to soften the jacket of the bicafiber. This can be done by means for heating the ambient air, which are arranged parallel to the conveyor belts.
- the compacted fiber cake then passes through a continuous furnace, wherein the compacted fiber cake is still held between circulating, air-permeable belts.
- the fiber cake is heated by means of heated air to a temperature which melts the jacket of the bicafiber, typically a temperature of about 100 ° C to 160 ° C.
- the bicarbonate sheath of the bicafiber bonds the core of the bicafiber to the wood fiber to form a tack-fixed structure with large voids of air located in a framework of fibers.
- the fibers of the multifunctional plate in particular the wood fibers, have restoring forces which, even after the formation of the adhesive points, can still lead to an undesired deformation of the multifunctional plate.
- the cooling can be done by supplying unheated, accelerated air.
- the cooling can be done advantageously but also with cooled and accelerated air.
- the multifunctional plates according to the invention are not completely flexible such. B. light thermal insulation panels. They are sufficiently rigid to be produced in any dimensions.
- the multifunctional plates according to the invention are therefore also available as large format plates z. B. with a format of 2800 mm x 2070 mm. These formats can also be produced because simple production devices are sufficient and production takes place without costly pressing.
- Fig. 1 shows a schematic representation of a multi-functional plate 1, the wood fibers 2 and 3 Bicoier has.
- the wood fibers 2 are 6 mm to 18 mm long. They consist of agglomerates of fibers, ie bundles of fibers, which arise during the fraying of wood shavings and which adhere to each other after the fraying or which are not yet completely separated from each other. The diameter of the agglomerates is between 100 microns and 3 mm.
- the bicofibers 3 are much thinner; They consist of co- or iso-PET as sheath material and PET as core material. Their length is up to 30 mm and their diameter is about 6 den.
- Fig. 1 shows a schematic representation of a multi-functional plate 1, the wood fibers 2 and 3 Bicomaschinen has.
- the wood fibers 2 are 6 mm to 18 mm long. They consist of agglomerates of fibers, ie bundles of fibers, which arise during the fraying of wood shavings and which adhere to each other
- the multifunction plate 1 shows the larger wood fibers 2 with a share of 44 wt .-% of the multi-functional plate 1 and the much finer bicrofibres. 3 in a proportion of 56% by weight.
- the multifunction plate 1 is 11 mm thick and has a weight of 150 kg / m 3 .
- the dimensions of the plate are 2800 mm x 2070 mm.
- the fiber mixture of wood and bic fibers 2,3 forms a three-dimensional framework. At the points of intersection between the wood and bicofibres but also between bicafes, as in Fig. 2 shown, formed adhesive dots 4, which give the plate strength, without reducing the sound-absorbing properties.
- the restoring force of the wood fibers 3 makes it possible to produce a multi-functional plate with a large proportion of cavities, so that the plate has a low weight.
- the high proportion of bicofibres causes a very high compressive strength in relation to the low weight and, surprisingly, also a high screw-pull resistance, which is related to the weight.
- An increasing proportion of bicrofibres leads to an increase in compressive strength.
- Fig. 3 shows the production of the multifunctional plate according to the invention.
- the mixture of wood and Bico waiven which may optionally be admixed with additives, scattered via a rotary feeder 6 to a fiber cake 7 of about 30 cm thickness.
- the mixing of the fibers takes place beforehand in a manner known per se, preferably in several stages or steps, in order to achieve as homogeneous a mixture as possible.
- the fiber cake 7 is scattered on a lower conveyor belt 8.
- the lower conveyor belt 8 is aligned horizontally. At an angle to the upper conveyor belt 9 is inclined. At the end 10 of the upper conveyor belt 9, which adjoins the reservoir 5, corresponds to the distance to the lower conveyor belt 8 at least the thickness of the fiber cake, here about 30 cm.
- the distance of the upper conveyor belt 9 to the lower conveyor belt 8 is reduced to the second end 11 of the upper conveyor belt to the predetermined thickness of the multi-functional plate, here 11 mm.
- blowers are arranged, which cause the fiber cake 7 is traversed by heated air.
- the fibers compress due to the decreasing distance between the upper and lower conveyor belts 8, 9 provided for the respective multi-functional plate 1 thickness.
- the jacket of the bicafes already preheated.
- the multifunctional plate 1 is guided between the lower conveyor belt 12 and a second upper conveyor belt 13 arranged parallel to it in a continuous furnace 14.
- Heaters 15, the z. B. heat wires or by infrared radiation generate heat, 12 and 13 are arranged above and below the conveyor belts.
- the heaters 15 are assisted by fans to accelerate the heated air and to convey it through the conveyor belts 12, 13 and the multifunction panel 1.
- the circulating belts of the conveyor belts 12, 13 are for this purpose of heat-resistant, air-permeable material, eg. As a metal mesh or a fabric that is tight enough despite the air permeability to retain the wood and Bicomaschinen 2, 3.
- the jacket of the bicofibers is now further heated to such an extent that the jacket melts or softens so much that wood fibers 2 or other bicofibres 3 which lie against the jacket form a glue point 4 with the melted or softened jacket (cf. , Fig. 2 ). Due to the high proportion of bicrofibres 3, numerous adhesive dots 4 are formed, which give the multifunctional panel 1 a significantly higher strength than a thermal insulation panel according to the prior art, which has only a 5% proportion of bicofibres.
- the adhesive dots 4 thus produced in the continuous furnace 14 are initially still soft. They have at least in part still a low strength, so that the restoring force of the wood fibers 2 is greater than the strength of the adhesive dots 4.
- the multi-function plate 1 is further fixed by the conveyor belts 12 and 13 in height and transferred to a device 16 for cooling.
- the cooling device 16 is provided with means 17 for producing cool air which is passed through the multifunction plate.
- the means 17 for producing cool air may be simple blowers that convey air through the multifunctional plate 1, which has the ambient temperature outside the production plant prevails.
- a cooling device can additionally be provided which cools the air to a specific temperature. Only when the adhesive dots 4 have solidified by the cooling so far that their holding force is greater than the restoring force of the wood fibers 2, the multifunction plate 1 is released from the guide by the conveyor belts 12, 13.
- the width of the multifunction plate 1 is 2800 mm.
- the multifunctional plate 1 is produced in a continuous process in infinite length. It can be shortened to any length, z. B. to a length of 2070 mm.
- the above-described multifunctional plate 1 and the manufacturing method for this multifunctional plate may alternatively be modified so that in addition to the wood and bicarbonium 2,3 also one or more additives are added, for.
- an additive or a mixture of additives from the group of additives, the fire retardants, fungicides, insecticides, algicides and water repellents.
- the additives are usually added in amounts of up to 10 wt .-%. They are either added to the wood fibers already in the blow-line or they are added to the mixture of wood fibers 2 and 3 Bicomaschinen total or it is used a second reservoir from which a separate layer of the fiber cake 7 is scattered by the first reservoir 5 and the second reservoir alternately sprinkle the fiber cake 7.
- the second storage container preferably spreads the outer layers of the fiber cake 7.
- wt .-% bicofibres 3 and 44 wt .-% wood fibers 2 are scattered.
- a fiber cake 7 having a rate of 1.76 kg / m 2 is scattered, compacted, heated and cooled to prepare a multifunction panel 1 having a thickness of 11 mm.

Abstract
Description

Fig. 3 zeigt die Herstellung der erfindungsgemäßen Multifunktionsplatte.
Fig. 2 ).
