Description
- The present invention relates to an anti-fall safety structure for formwork with load-bearing panels for floor slabs.
- The structure has the purpose of building a vertical barrier to be applied to formwork systems in order to create suitable operating conditions during the assembly of said structure.
- It is known that formwork systems for floor slabs can be composed of elements such as vertical supporting props, supporting heads to be applied to the upper end thereof and load-bearing formwork panels which are mounted directly on the supporting heads.
- Known vertical protection systems applicable to floor slab formwork are currently composed of elements which are applied generally to the load-bearing beams or to the formwork panels
EP 1 9 44 430 A2 discloses an anti-fall safety structure with the features of the preamble of claim 1. - One drawback of the systems of this type known so far is constituted by the fact that they can be moved only with mechanical and non-manual means, which slows the operations for installing such systems at a building site, consequently entailing an extension of building times and therefore of the costs for the building company.
- A further drawback of systems of this type known so far is constituted by the fact that they can be assembled to the floor slab formwork system by virtue of mechanisms which are often complicated and awkward from the practical point of view, which slows the operations for installation of these systems at the building site, consequently entailing an extension of building times and therefore of the costs for the building company in addition to increasing the risk from the point of view of correct installation and thus compromising the level of safety ensured to workers.
- A last drawbacks of systems of this type known so far is constituted by the fact that they have a rather limited field of application, since they do not offer a complete technical solution from the point of view of vertical protection, because it is usually necessary to complete the protection on each side of the formwork system with other systems which are expensive and slow to execute.
- The aim of the present invention is to provide an anti-fall safety structure for formwork with load-bearing panels for floor slabs that has a reduced space occupation and weight and can be handled not necessarily with mechanical lifting means.
- An important object of the present invention is to provide an anti-fall safety structure that is very simple and can be managed with mechanisms that are easy to handle.
- A further object of the present invention is to provide a safety structure that allows to perform multiple applications, specifically to provide a vertical protection that is complete, allows to protect any side of the formwork system with load-bearing panels and therefore renders work safe for workers in every respect.
- This aim, as well as these and other objects which will become better apparent hereinafter, are achieved by an anti-fall safety structure for formwork with load-bearing panels according to claim 1.

- In particular, the invention provides an anti-fall safety structure with reduced bulk and weight, which can be moved not necessarily with mechanical lifting means, since the post supporting brackets, the posts and the anti-fall grids or boards are all components that can be managed easily by a single operator or at the most by two operators, without the need to resort to particular lifting means.
- Moreover, the invention provides a safety structure that is very simple and can be managed with mechanisms that are easy to handle, by virtue of the wedge-type closure system of the clamp means, which can be managed easily with adapted hammers or sledgehammers.
- Furthermore, the invention provides a safety structure that allows to provide a vertical protection that is complete, i.e., allows to protect any side of a formwork system comprising load-bearing panels, and therefore without load-bearing beams, and which therefore renders work safe for workers in every respect, since it can be provided with post supporting brackets that are suitable for fixing to a frame profile of a formwork panel.
- The invention thus conceived is susceptible of numerous modifications and variations, as long as they fall within the scope of the invention which is only defined by the appended claims.
- In practice, the components and materials used, so long as they are compatible with the specific use, as well as the contingent shapes and dimensions, may be any according to the requirements and the state of the art.

- The anti-fall safety structure according to claim 5, characterized in that said other post (116) comprise a further clamp means (119) which comprise:- a first lower plate-like resting body (127), supported by a load-bearing longitudinal element (124) and adapted to rest against the lower face (160) of a lateral longitudinal profile (12, 13) of a load-bearing panel (11);- and a wedge-type closure system (121), which incorporates a portion of said load-bearing longitudinal element (124) of said further clamp means (119), said wedge-type closure system (121) of said further clamp means (119) moving a second plate-like body (163) against the upper surface (131) of said lateral longitudinal profile (12, 13).
