Description

  • The present invention refers to a kitchen hood, comprising a collecting section with a filtering device inserted therein, wherein the filtering device comprises a filtering panel made of a filtering material arranged in a support frame, and wherein the hood further comprises a plurality of pivotable louvres associated with said support frame, in order to at least partially cover said panel of filtering material.
  • The kitchen hood of the aforementioned kind is known from the patent document No. EP 2 966 363 B1 and comprises a collecting section with a filtering device inserted therein, the latter having a panel made of a filtering material placed in a support frame, an intake duct with an inlet located above said panel made of the filtering material, a gas extractor located in said duct, the suction port of said gas extractor facing a first portion of said panel made of the filtering material, and a second section of said panel made of the filtering material can be reached by suction of said gas extractor via a channel arrangement. The know kitchen hood further comprises a plurality of louvres having a predetermined direction of extension and associated with said support frame to overlap said portion of the filtering panel, each louver of said plurality of louvres being movable about its own axis Y-Y relative to said support frame to pivot between a position in which it is substantially parallel to the surface of the portion of the filtering panel that faces the suction port of the extractor, such that its inclined position is a function of the amount of such suction.
  • Since said louvres cover entirely said first section of the filtering panel, a uniform flow of the sucked air over all surfaces of the filtering panel is not ensured. In particular, said drawback occurs in case when the driving motor of the gas extractor operates with non-constant rotational frequency.
  • It is the object of the present invention to create a filtering device of a kitchen hood, which provides for air suction as uniform as possible over the entire surfaces of a filtering panel.
  • According to the present invention, the object as set above is solved by features set forth in the characterising part of claim 1. Detail of the invention is disclosed in respective subclaims.
  • The invention is further described in detail by way of non-limiting embodiment, and with a reference to the accompanying drawings, where
