The filter assembly is arranged and adapted to be switched between a first mode and a second mode by moving the two movable smoke guide panels 1. The bottom opening of the truncated V-shape is directed toward the exterior of the range hood when the filter assembly is in the first mode. By "truncated V-shaped bottom opening" is understood an opening formed by the spacing between the free ends of the two movable smoke guide plates 1 (the free ends of the movable smoke guide plates 1, i.e. the ends of the movable smoke guide plates 1 remote from the plate member 2). In fact, when the filter assembly is in the first mode and the fan is running, the two movable smoke guide plates 1 are suitable for guiding the flow of the airflow, and the cavity formed by the interval between the two movable smoke guide plates 1 is suitable for gathering the smoke.
When the filter assembly is in the first mode, the lowest point of the filter assembly is located at the rear end thereof, specifically, the lowest point of the filter assembly has two, one is the corner located at the inner side of the free end of the left movable smoke guide plate 1, and the other is the corner located at the inner side of the free end of the right movable smoke guide plate 1, as shown in fig. 4. When the filter assembly is in the first mode, the filter assembly is obscured from view by the smoke collection chamber 5 in the right side of the range hood, as shown in figure 3.
When the filter assembly is in the second mode, as shown in fig. 1 and 2, the filter assembly is generally flat, and the left movable smoke guide plate, the plate body member 2 and the right movable smoke guide plate are sequentially connected. The edge profile of the outer surface of the filter assembly is rectangular.
