- Automatic door gap seal for the region of a door underside (2) of a door (3), having a seal housing (4), a movably mounted seal profile (5) and a door threshold (6), wherein the automatic door gap seal is equipped with a brake-in protection mechanism which consists of an engagement profile (7) and a profile engagement portion (8) corresponding thereto, and the engagement profile (7) is assigned to the seal profile (5), and the profile engagement portion (8) is assigned to the door threshold (6), characterized in that the seal housing (4) has mutually parallel side walls (9) on whose inner sides the seal profile (5) is slidingly mounted in a retractable and extendable manner, and the engagement profile (7) of the seal profile (5) extends in the direction of the door threshold (6) and, in the closed state of the door (3), engages in the profile engagement portion (8) of the door threshold (6), wherein the door threshold (6) is configured in the manner of a rigid zero threshold, and the profile engagement portion (8) reaches under the zero level thereof and has the form of a rectilinear slotted engagement portion which is angled obliquely from a vertical and forms an undercut in the vertical direction of movement of the seal profile (5), wherein the engagement profile (7) of the seal profile (5) is correspondingly angled obliquely from a vertical in order to engage at a suitable angle in the profile engagement portion (8) of the door threshold (6).
- Door gap seal according to Claim 1, characterized in that the seal profile (5) is formed in one piece.
- Door gap seal according to Claim 1, characterized in that the seal profile (5) consists of a rigid retaining profile (10) and of an elastic profile (11) which surrounds the latter on its outer side directed towards the door threshold (6).
- Door gap seal according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the engagement profile (7) takes the form of a rectilinear web.
- Door gap seal according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the door threshold (6) is designed to be adjustable with respect to the seal housing (4) in depth positions and horizontally in width and/or length positions.
- Door gap seal according to Claim 3 or according to Claim 4 in conjunction with Claim 3, characterized in that, with the door (3) closed, the elastic profile (11) has, adjacent to the engagement profile (7) and the profile engagement portion (8), a seal portion (12) which acts with respect to a horizontal and at least one horizontal sealing surface (13).
- Door gap seal according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the seal profile (5) is equipped with a reinforcement.
- Door gap seal according to Claim 7, characterized in that the reinforcement is arranged on the side of the seal profile (5) that is directed towards the outer side of a door (3).
