Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de production d'un engrais à base d'azote, d'urée, à partir de déchets urbains et industriels comportant du carbone, comprenant une gazéification à température élevée de manière à produire de l'hydrogène et de l'ammoniac, puis la combinaison d'ammoniac et de CO2 de manière à produire de l'urée. Le procédé permet de séquestrer tout le dioxyde de carbone associé aux déchets au moyen d'une production parallèle d'hydrogène par une électrolyse d'eau et/ou le reformage de biogaz.
