    a) the head water seam region (12) and the foot cover seam region (23) are formed in such a way that, in the state laid as roof cladding, with interlocking roof tiles (1) lying one above the other, no cover seam web (26) of the foot cover seam region (23) of the interlocking roof tile (1) lying above it engages in the third water seam groove (17), when seen in the flow direction, of the head water seam region (12) of the interlocking roof tile (1) lying below, and the head water seam region (12) and the foot cover seam region (23) are formed in such a way that, in the state laid as roof cladding, with interlocking roof tiles (1) lying one above the other, the third cover seam web (26), when seen in the flow direction, of the foot cover seam region (23) abuts on the fourth water seam web (16), when seen in the flow direction, of the head water seam region (12) of the interlocking roof tile (1) lying below,
    and/or
    b) the side water seam region (14) and the side cover seam region (25) are formed in such a way that, in the state laid as roof cladding, with adjacent interlocking roof tiles (1), a cover seam web (26) of the side cover seam region (25) of the interlocking roof tile (1) lying above it each engages in the right and left water seam grooves (17), when seen perpendicularly to the flow direction, of the side water seam region (14) of the interlocking roof tile (1) lying below, and
    the side water seam region (14) and the side cover seam region (25) are formed in such a way that, in the state laid as roof cladding, with adjacent interlocking roof tiles (1), no cover seam web (26) of the side cover seam region (25) of the interlocking roof tile (1) lying above it engages in the central water seam groove (17) of the side water seam region (14) of the interlocking roof tile (1) lying below.
  2. Interlocking roof tile according to claim 1,
    characterised in that
    the interlocking roof tile (1) is formed with a width of greater than or equal to 280mm and a length of greater than or equal to 455mm.
  3. Interlocking roof tile according to claim 1 or 2,
    characterised in that
    the water seam webs (16) of the side water seam region (14) have a height of from 12mm to 18mm, preferably 15mm to 17mm.
  4. Interlocking roof tile according to one of the preceding claims,
    characterised in that
    the side walls of the water seam webs (16) of the side water seam region (14) are formed to be trapezoidal in cross-section,
    wherein the side walls are formed at an angle of inclination of between 4.5° to 20°, are preferably formed at an angle of inclination of between 14° to 16°.
  5. Interlocking roof tile according to one of the preceding claims,
    characterised in that
    the water seam webs (16) of the head water seam region (12) are formed with a height of from 13mm to 20mm, preferably 15mm to 17mm.
  6. Interlocking roof tile according to one of the preceding claims,
    characterised in that
    the side walls of the water seam webs (16) of the head water seam region (12) are formed to be trapezoidal in cross-section,
    wherein the side walls are formed at an angle of inclination of from 4.5° to 20°, are preferably formed at an angle of inclination of between 14° to 17°.
  7. Interlocking roof tile according to one of the preceding claims,
    characterised in that,
    in the state laid as roof cladding, with interlocking roof tiles (1) lying one above the other, the head water seam region (12) and the foot cover seam region (23) are formed in such a way that a cover seam web (26) of the foot cover seam region (23) of the interlocking roof tile (1) lying above it each engages in the first and second water seam grooves (17), when seen in the flow direction, of the head water seam region (12) of the interlocking roof tile (1) lying below.
  8. Interlocking roof tile according to one of the preceding claims,
    characterised in that
    the left or right water seam grooves (17), when seen perpendicularly to the flow direction, of the side water seam region (14) and the first water seam groove (17), when seen in the flow direction, of the head water seam region (12) are formed connected to one another.
  9. Interlocking roof tile according to one of the preceding claims,
    characterised in that
    the central water seam groove (17), when seen perpendicularly to the flow direction, of the side water seam region (14) and the second water seam groove (17), when seen in the flow direction, of the head water seam region (12) are formed connected to one another.
  10. Interlocking roof tile according to one of the preceding claims,
    characterised in that
    the depth extension of at least one water groove (17) of the side water seam region (14) increases from the head end towards the foot end.
  11. Roof cladding formed from interlocking roof tiles,
    characterised in that
    several of the interlocking roof tiles, preferably most or all of the interlocking roof tiles, are respectively formed according to one of preceding claims 1 to 10.
