Description

Domaine techniqueTechnical area

The present invention relates to the field of unlocking/locking systems implementing electromechanical keys and locks to condemn or prohibit the operation of a locking device in order to access a protected area.

More specifically, the invention relates to a mechanical and electronic unlocking/locking system comprising a locking device intended, on the one hand, to be operated by a connected removable handle consisting of a loop and a projecting part comprising first electrical interfaces, and on the other hand, to be unlocked following exchanges of data, between the locking device and a mobile application contained in a telecommunications device.

Etat de la techniqueState of the art

For several years, numerous connected locking systems have been developed combining mechanical coding and/or electronic coding transmitted between a key and a locking device such as a lock. For example, the European patent application EP 0277432 describes an electromechanical lock, the key of which further comprises a mechanical lock unlocking code, an electronic circuit for transmitting to the lock, when the key is introduced, a pre-programmed identification code. In this application, the power supply of the key is ensured from the lock which is itself powered by an external source.

Another request, EP 2561292 teaches an electronic key that can be implemented with an electromechanical lock and comprising both notches for mechanical coding and an electronic microprocessor circuit powered by a battery disposed directly in the key.

Also, there is the patent EN 2749875 which describes a lock supplied with energy by the introduction of a key comprising mechanical and electronic means in order to unlock an unlocking/locking system. In this document, the unlocking is carried out when an identity between an identification code of the key and a corresponding code of the lock is verified.

Other requests can also be cited: EP 1903168 which discloses an electromechanical lock composed of an interchangeable core and a locking cam, and EP 1739631 which describes a cylinder which has reading units with an input unit for inputting and a receiving unit for receiving input signals.

However, these unlocking/locking systems still have certain drawbacks among the following:
  • high key acquisition costs due to all the functionalities integrated within them,
  • all the identification codes are contained in the keys, which makes it necessary to carry out customization operations,
  • in the event of loss of the key, it is necessary to reprogram this one but also the lock for fear that an unauthorized person having recovered the key does not reach an area protected by the locking device.

Description de l'inventionDescription of the invention

There is therefore a real need to provide an unlocking/locking system which in particular implements an opening device, key or any other device making it possible in particular to unlock a system which, unlike that of the documents of the prior art, has significantly lower manufacturing costs to overcome the defects, drawbacks and obstacles of the prior art. In particular, it is appropriate to provide an unlocking/locking system in which the various functionalities generally distributed between a locking device and a key are cleverly distributed between a telecommunications device, a locking device and a handle so that if a of the aforementioned elements is not correctly used, it is impossible to unlock the device.

To solve one or more of the drawbacks mentioned above, the present invention relates to a mechanical and electronic unlocking/locking system according to claims 1 to 8.

Advantageously, the mechanical blocking means keep the locking device in the locked state as long as they have not been activated by the mobile application.

Advantageously, the connected removable handle is maintained autonomously in the locking device when its projecting part is introduced into the housing. In this way the user has his two hands free in order to manipulate his telecommunications device as he wishes in order to ensure expected functionality.

Advantageously, the energy generation means of the connected removable handle comprise a renewable energy source.

In a first variant, the renewable energy source is a piezoelectric element. The advantage of such a source lies in the fact that its energy is unlimited insofar as such a piezoelectric element is capable of recovering kinetic energy following the simple movement of the connected removable handle.

In a second variant, the renewable energy source is a dynamometric element. Such an element has the advantage of supplying energy following a "free rotation" movement, generally circular, to prevent any forcing by torque between the connected removable handle, when the latter is in the housing, and the lockdown.

In a particular embodiment, the exchanges of data between the locking device and the mobile application, the server and/or the telecommunication device are carried out by an asynchronous communication.

According to the invention, the electronic blocking means of the locking device analyze the authorization received to activate or not the mechanical blocking means. In this way, the electronic locking means of the locking device authenticate the information transmitted by the connected removable handle, and if necessary, validates them to unlock the mechanical locking means.

Advantageously, the first and second electrical interfaces are of the inductive type. The use of such interfaces of the inductive type allows, on the one hand, rapid operation of the unlocking/locking system, even before the projecting part of the connected removable handle is completely inserted into the housing of the locking device , and on the other hand, unlike contacts electrical, eliminates the risk of oxidation, which optimizes data exchange between the connected removable handle, the locking device and the mobile application.

According to one embodiment of the invention, a mechanical and electronic unlocking/locking system comprises a locking device 20 intended, on the one hand, to be operated by a connected removable handle 10 consisting of a loop 110 and a protruding part 120 comprising first electrical interfaces 130, and on the other hand, to be unlocked following exchanges of data between the locking device 20 and a mobile application 40 contained in a telecommunications device 30,

In this unlocking/locking system, a connected removable handle 10 is used as an intermediate device so that a mobile application 40 can communicate, and in particular exchange data, with a locking device 20. This connected removable handle 10 comprises:
  • a loop 110 comprising energy generation means 140 as well as wireless communication means 150, and
  • a projecting part 120 comprising first electrical interfaces 130.

For example, for optimal grip by a user's fingers, the loop 110 of the connected removable handle 10 includes lateral protuberances for good grip and manipulation. These protrusions allow the user to perform the function of applying a circular and/or translational movement to access a zone protected by the locking device.

The locking device 20 comprises:
  • a housing 240 capable of receiving at least partly the projecting part 120 of the connected removable handle 10,
  • second electrical interfaces 230 adapted and shaped to exchange data with the first electrical interfaces 130 of the connected removable handle 10,
  • electronic blocking means 220 capable of exchanging data and energy with the second electrical interfaces 230, and
  • mechanical blocking means 210 capable of exchanging data and energy with the second electrical interfaces 230 and/or the electronic blocking means 220.

The locking device 20 comprises a set of mechanical parts including a door, or any other device capable of protecting an area in order to prevent access to it by a third party.

Any user wishing to unlock this locking device 20 must have in his possession a telecommunication device 30 comprising a mobile application 40. This mobile application 40 is capable of exchanging necessary and/or sufficient data with the connected removable handle 10, and in particular with its wireless communication means 150, to unlock the locking device 20. These data exchanges, for example, are carried out by communications of the Bluetooth, wifi type, or any other communication using a wireless telecommunications network. It should be noted that the connected removable handle 10 is itself capable of transmitting to the locking device 20 data corresponding to those transmitted to it by the mobile application 40.

For example, the telecommunication apparatus 30 is fixed or mobile. It is, for example, a telephone or a computer.

For example, the wireless communication means 150 of the connected removable handle 10 are capable of receiving and transmitting electronic data, and any other information with a remote element via wireless communication.

Le serveur 50 donc est configuré pour transmettre à l'application mobile 40 des informations et données sécurisées utiles au déverrouillage du dispositif de verrouillage 20.It should be noted that the mobile application 40 is connected by wireless communication to a remote server 50 for managing authorizations. This server 50 hosts access management software comprising all the authorizations and identification codes of the users able to operate the locking device 20. The server 50 is therefore configured to transmit to the mobile application 40 secure information and data useful for unlocking the locking device 20.

Si ces derniers correspondent à ceux supportés par le serveur 50, alors le serveur transmet à l'application mobile 40 des données pouvant ultérieurement permettre de déverrouiller le dispositif de verrouillage 20.For example, using the mobile application 40, a user identifies himself by presenting an identifier as well as a personal and confidential code. If the latter correspond to those supported by the server 50, then the server transmits to the mobile application 40 data that can subsequently make it possible to unlock the locking device 20.

It should be noted that any communication between the mobile application 40 and the server 50 but also between the mobile application 40 and the locking device 20 via the connected removable handle 10, are secured with a level in line with the nature of the information transmitted and that of the risk of eavesdropping.

The connected removable handle 10 further comprises information transmission means making it possible to transfer the data received at its wireless communication means 150 to its projecting part 120, and more precisely to its first electrical interfaces 130.

In this way, the data collected at the level of the first electrical interfaces 130 of the projecting part 120 of the connected removable handle 10 are transmitted to the second electrical interfaces 230 located in the housing 240 of the locking device 20. It should be noted that the second electrical interfaces 230 are shaped to adapt to the first electrical interfaces 130 when at least part of the projecting part 120 of the connected removable handle 10 is inserted into the housing 240 of the locking device 20.

For example, these electrical interfaces 130 and 230 are electrical contacts, inductive type interfaces such as induction coils, or any other interfaces capable of exchanging electrical or electromagnetic signals.

Furthermore, it should be noted that the energy generation means 140 included in the loop 110 of the connected removable handle 10 have the function of transmitting energy, also via its first electrical interfaces 130, to the locking device 20 via the second electrical interfaces 230. This energy is necessary for the operation of the locking device 20. More particularly, this energy is necessary on the one hand, for the operation of the electronic locking means 220 of the device of lock 20, and on the other hand to the actuation of the mechanical locking means 210 allowing a user to access a protected area.

For example, the energy generating means 140 comprise a battery, a consumable battery, a rechargeable battery, a photovoltaic element, a piezoelectric or dynamometric element, or even an element generating energy thanks to the recovery of a force wind turbine.

It should be noted that the electronic blocking means 220 come into operation first before the mechanical blocking means 210. More specifically, initially, the electronic blocking means 220 come into operation after being supplied with energy, this energy coming from the energy generating means 140 included in the connected removable handle 10, and secondly, these electronic blocking means 220 transmit the necessary data to the mechanical blocking means 210 which are also supplied with energy beforehand by the energy generating means 140.

The electronic blocking means 220 are configured beforehand so as to be able to authenticate the data transmitted by the connected removable handle 10 and thus accept or not the unlocking of the locking device 20, that is to say to transmit or not data to the mechanical locking means 210 for them to unlock.

In other words, the purpose of the electronic blocking means 220 is to analyze the data transmitted by the connected removable handle 10: they receive logical data. In this sense, as long as the electronic blocking means 220 have not validated these data, no data can be transmitted to the mechanical blocking means 210 so that the latter are activated in order to unlock the locking device 20 and thus allow a user to access a protected area.

Dans cette configuration, l'utilisateur ne pourrait pas déverrouiller le dispositif de verrouillage 20.In other words, the locking device 20, through its electronic locking means 220, alone authenticates the data transmitted by the connected removable handle 10. Thus, even if a user is correctly identified and has obtained, beforehand, the authorization to unlock the locking device 20, the electronic blocking means 220 could however consider the data received as non-compliant. In this configuration, the user could not unlock the locking device 20.

However, once the data has been approved and validated by the electronic blocking means 220, the latter transmit confirmation data to the mechanical blocking means 210, previously supplied with energy by the energy generation means 140 of the connected removable handle 10, so that they in turn activate and thus allow a user to maneuver the connected removable handle 10 to access the area protected by the locking device 20.

For example, the mechanical locking means 210 make it possible to engage motor means making it possible to pass from a locking situation to an unlocking situation of the locking device 20.

For example, the electronic blocking means 220 are capable of exchanging, on the one hand, data with the wireless communication means 150 of the connected removable handle 10, and on the other hand, of exchanging data with the mechanical locking means 210 of the locking device 20.

A mode of operation of the invention has been illustrated and described in detail in the drawings and the preceding description. An operation of the unlocking/locking system is described below in which many variant embodiments are possible.

The unlocking/locking system is initiated by inserting the connected removable handle 10 into the locking device 20. By inserting the projecting part 120 of the connected removable handle 10 into the housing 240 of the locking device 20, the less in contact the first electrical interfaces 130 of the connected removable handle 10 and the second electrical interfaces 230 of the locking device 20.

It should be noted that the unlocking/locking system is put into operation when at least part of the projecting part 120 of the connected removable handle 10 is introduced into the housing 240. In this way, the electronic locking means 220 of the locking device 20 are activated quickly, following its energy supply generated by the energy generation means 140 included in the loop of the connected removable handle 10. Also, the electronic blocking means 220 transmit information to the connected removable handle 10 which itself transmits them to the mobile application 40 to activate it, even before the protruding part 120 is completely inserted into the housing 240.

In a variant embodiment, the fact that the mobile application 40 is activated even before the protruding part of the connected removable handle 10 is completely inserted into the housing 240, is made possible by the use, as first and second electrical interfaces 130 and 230, inductive type interfaces.

The use of such interfaces of the inductive type allows, on the one hand, rapid operation of the system, even before the connected removable handle 10 is completely inserted, and on the other hand, unlike electrical contacts, allows to overcome the risks of oxidation, which optimizes the exchange of data between the handle connected removable 10, the locking device 20 and the mobile application 40.

Thus, when the first and second electrical interfaces, 130 and 230, are capable of communicating data with each other, the connected removable handle 10 transmits a quantity of energy necessary and sufficient for the operation of the electronic blocking means 220 of the locking device 20. In this way, the electronic locking means 220 are put into operation very quickly so that they transmit data to the connected removable handle 10, which itself transmits them to the mobile application 40 for activate it.

These data make it possible, for example, to identify the geographical position of the locking device 20, and to characterize the state, lock or unlock, of the latter.

In another alternative embodiment, as soon as the projecting part 120 of the connected removable handle 10 is completely inserted into the housing 240 of the locking device 10, the connected removable handle 10 is maintained independently. In this way, the user has both hands free in order to manipulate his telecommunication device 30 as he wishes and to ensure an expected functionality by selecting, for example, through the mobile application 40, the locking device 20 he wants to unlock. Such holding is possible by a correspondence between the design of the projecting part 120 of the connected removable handle 10 and that of the housing 240 of the locking device 20.

Furthermore, in yet another alternative embodiment, the mechanical locking means 210 keep the locking device 20 in the locked state as long as they have not been activated by the mobile application 40. In this alternative, that the mechanical blocking means 220 have not received compliant data, via the electronic blocking means 210, the locking device remains blocked, or even so long as to remain in a locked position preventing a third party from accessing an area protected by the latter.

In another alternative embodiment, the energy generating means 140 of the connected removable handle 10 comprise a renewable energy source, this energy being transmissible to the electronic and mechanical locking means, 210 and 220, of the locking device 20 to put them into operation. Such a source has the advantage of being non-polluting, requiring little maintenance and lasting a long time. This source may comprise a photovoltaic cell disposed on a surface of the loop 110 of the connected removable handle 10 to convert light energy into expanded energy in order to recharge a battery.

More particularly, this renewable energy source may comprise a piezoelectric element. The advantage of such a source lies in the fact that its energy is unlimited insofar as such a piezoelectric element is capable of recovering kinetic energy following the simple movement of the connected removable handle 10. In d In other words, the energy generating means 140 comprising a piezoelectric element are capable of generating energy only from the movements of the user who possesses it.

Also, according to another alternative embodiment, this energy source comprises a dynamometric element. By using such a source, the user must, on the one hand, introduce the projecting part 120 of the connected removable handle 10 into the housing 240 of the locking device 20, and on the other hand, set in motion, for example circular , the connected removable handle 10 inserted into the housing 240 to generate energy. For example, the movement it must perform in this variant is similar to that of a crank. Such a movement has the advantage of being free, that is to say that in this variant, the projecting part 120 of the connected removable handle 10, when it is completely introduced into the housing 240, is set in circular motion. inside of the latter to generate energy without it being entirely in contact with the housing 240. In this variant, the protruding part 120, once inserted, does not protrude from the surface formed by the housing 240. The projection 120 is located in the interior portion of the housing. This configuration makes it possible to prevent a harmful action being taken vis-à-vis the housing 240 and the projecting part 120 so as to weaken or break, in particular the first and second electrical interfaces 130 and 230. Moreover, the only authorized movements are a rotation of the projecting part 120 around the housing 240. This makes it possible to prevent a user from forcing a movement of the connected removable handle 10 in rotation with a view to breaking a connection and weakening the locking device 20 and or the connected removable handle 10. The rotation of the connected removable handle 10 in the housing 240 makes it possible in particular to convert the mechanical energy of a rotation into an electric current. Under the impetus of at least one rotation of the connected removable handle 10, a user can recharge a battery.

The energy generation means 140 can also comprise a dynamo comprising a piezoelectric system making it possible to generate a current capable of supplying the mechanical and electronic locking means, 220 and 230 in order to unlock the locking device 20.

Once the energy has been generated by the energy generation means 140 according to any one of the aforementioned variants, this energy is transmitted to the electronic blocking means 220 of the locking device 20. The energy is conveyed to the first electrical interfaces 130 of the projecting part 120 of the connected removable handle 10 then is transmitted to the second electrical interfaces 230 arranged in the housing 240 of the locking device 20, when the projecting part 120 is at least partially inserted into the housing 240. Then, this energy is conveyed to the electronic and mechanical blocking means, 210 and 220. It should be noted that the electronic blocking means 210 are the means supplied first.

After being powered, the electronic blocking means 220 transmit information and data to the mobile application 40 via the wireless communication means 150 of the connected removable handle 10. In this way, the mobile application 40 identifies the device of lock 20 in which the connected removable handle 10 is inserted.

This mobile application 40 communicates with a server 50 that is remote and hosts authentication software for identifiers and passwords.

Therefore, through this mobile application 40 contained in a telecommunication device 30, a user activates his user profile associated with him by teaching his personal and confidential identifier and password to request authorization to unlock the locking device 20 When his identifier and his password coincide with those contained in the server 50, he obtains an authorization.

When the user obtains this authorization, authorization data useful for unlocking the locking device 20 are transmitted by the mobile application 40 to the connected removable handle 10 which transmits them to the electronic locking means 220. It should be noted that , the electronic blocking means 220 are unblocked according to the operating rules associated with it, described and/or saved in the server 50.

Ces informations sont nécessaires au déblocage global du dispositif de verrouillage 20.In a variant embodiment, the electronic blocking means 220 of the locking device 20 analyze the authorization received to activate or not the mechanical blocking means 210. In other words, the electronic blocking means 220 of the locking device 20 authenticate the information transmitted by the connected removable handle 10 via its first electrical interfaces 230, and if necessary, validates them and transmits them to the mechanical locking means 210 to unlock them. This information is necessary for the overall unlocking of the locking device 20.

Ces moyens mécaniques de blocage 210 sont alimentés en énergie par la poignée amovible connectée 20 via ses moyens de génération d'énergie 140.After receipt of authorization data from electronic blocking means 220 and/or analysis thereof, data is therefore transmitted to the mechanical blocking means 210 of the locking device 20. These mechanical blocking means 210 are powered by the removable handle connected 20 via its energy generating means 140.

In this way, the user can manipulate the removable handle connected 10, typically by putting it in circular motion, in order to open the locking device 20.

Once the user closes the locking device 20 and completely withdraws the projecting part 120 from the connected removable handle 10, the locking device 20 is again locked automatically. In other words, the locking device 20 therefore instantly goes into its locked state, making it impossible for a user not previously authorized to unlock it.

In a variant embodiment, the exchanges of data between the locking device 20 and the mobile application 40, the server 50 and/or the telecommunication device 30 are carried out by an asynchronous communication.

In this variant, we are in a so-called degraded mode, which ensures continuity of service and in particular the authentication of the user and the transmission of data necessary for the locking device 20 to be unlocked despite a bad, or even an existing, connection. wireless between the mobile application 40 and the server 50. This variant is implemented in particular when the mobile application 40 cannot therefore communicate instantaneously with the server 50 due for example to a communication deficiency between the device telecommunication 30 (or mobile application 40) and the server 50.

In this variant, a temporary authorization, more or less short, must therefore be requested by the user, via the mobile application 40, from the server 50 prior to the unlocking of the electronic blocking means 220 of the locking device 20. For example, to do this, when the mobile application 40 and the server 50 are able to communicate with each other, the user sends a request to the server 50 so that the latter transmits data that can be recorded by the mobile application 40. This request consists of to request the obtaining of a usage authentication, or authorization, to initially unlock the electronic blocking means 220 of the locking device 20.

It should be noted that when the telecommunication device 30 receives such a message, the mobile application 40 is informed to be able to transmit the authorization information to the electronic blocking means 220 of the locking device 20 when the projecting part 120 of the connected detachable handle 10 is at least partially inserted into the housing 240 subsequent to receipt of the authorization information. For example, following this request, the user receives in his telecommunication device 30, an electronic message sent by the server 50 containing data necessary and sufficient to unlock the locking device 20.

In this way, when the user inserts the connected removable handle 10 into the locking device 20, he has already obtained authorization data, this data being contained in the mobile application 40. Thus, this data is directly transmitted to the electronic blocking means 220 by the connected removable handle 10 without the mobile application 40 exchanging information with the server 50.
