Abstract

State of the art

For drawers or modern furniture with a drawer, a desired appearance of the drawer is of fundamental importance due to aesthetic aspects or design aspects. This relates to the individual wall elements of the drawer in particular opposite drawer side walls or drawer frames and a front page.

Purpose and advantages of the invention

The object of the present invention is to advantageously provide a drawer or furniture with a desired design. The design adaptation should be uncomplicated possible, optionally allow different design variants and also meet technical and economic criteria.

This object is solved by the independent claims.

The dependent claims relate to advantageous variants of the invention.

The invention is based on a drawer wall element for a drawer, wherein the drawer wall element a Sidewall, a rear wall, a front wall or an inner wall of the assembled drawer forms. The wall types mentioned essentially determine the appearance of the drawer and thus of the relevant piece of furniture. The inner wall is for example a push-in element or a dividing element of the drawer.

The drawer wall element can be designed as a component with an enveloping element, wherein the enveloping element alone forms or is integral with the entire outer or visible surface of the drawer wall element. Alternatively, the enveloping element may be composed of a plurality of mutually different or distinguishable elements. The plurality of elements or their outer surfaces together in the finished state form the entire outer surface of the drawer wall element.

The core of the invention is that a surface region of the drawer wall element is formed from a composite part of at least two layer elements, wherein a first layer element consists of a transparent or translucent material and a second layer element consists of a material other than the material of the first layer element and wherein the second layer element, the first layer element is covered on one side surface and connected thereto. The surface area preferably forms an inner side and / or an outer side of a drawer side wall, a drawer rear wall, a drawer front wall and / or a drawer inner wall. The second layer element is preferably made of a non-translucent material, preferably a non-glass material.

The first layer element preferably has a comparatively high translucency, in particular comparable to the translucency of a virtually colorless clear, matted or colored or patterned glass material.

Translucency is the partial translucency of a body. Translucent bodies allow partial light, but they are not transparent. The reciprocal property of translucency is opacity. The higher the translucency of a body, the lower its opacity and vice versa.

The transparent or translucent material or the first layer element is preferably a glass-based amorphous solid such as a silicate glass or a plastic. Preferably, the first layer element is a one-piece, rigid or flexible element. The layer elements each have two opposite flat planar main sides or are z. B. foil-like or plate-like.

The connection of the at least two layer elements is preferably realized as a material fit or with a transparent connection means, preferably with an adhesive present between the layer elements, which has a very thin layer thickness in the tenth of a millimeter range.

It is advantageous that the first layer element consists of a glass material and the second layer element consists of a non-glass material. The non-glass material layer element covers the glass material layer element on one side flat and is connected via the surface contact with this. In particular, the first and the second layer element are integrally connected to one another in a permanently bonded manner over the entire surface. The glass material may be transparent or translucent or optionally completely opaque.

With a translucent layer element or a glass layer element and the further layer element, an aesthetically pleasing and adaptable to different design aspects drawer wall element can be advantageously provided. The drawer wall element according to the invention is also for manufacturing reasons and also with regard to an assembly of a few basic elements advantageous. For example, a variety of different designs can be provided with identical glass layer elements and a respective individually adapted further layer element.

In addition, a variety of light, color and pattern effects can be achieved with the drawer wall element due to the translucent material or due to the glass material.

The composite part is formed in particular in the multi-layer structure or is multi-layered, preferably two, three or five layers.

The composite part forms, with its two opposing major surfaces, which are spaced apart by the wall thickness of the composite part, in each case a continuous surface or in each case a contiguous area which influences the appearance of the drawer wall element on the inside and outside of the drawer.

In the state completed from the individual layers, the composite part is preferably a component with a thickness corresponding to the sum of the individual thicknesses of all layer elements which form the composite part. The composite part or the outside and inside of the composite part is preferably in the basic form rectangular or square.

Further, it is advantageous that the first layer element in the assembled state of the drawer forms at least a portion of a surface of the drawer wall element. The surface of the drawer panel may be formed with the first panel, the surface being on an inside or outside of the drawer panel. The other side of the surface of the drawer wall element is formed by a further or different layer element.

Another advantage is that the second Layer element, the first layer element on one side completely covered. This achieves a high connection strength. It is also advantageous that the composite part as a built-in part in the receptacle, which belongs to the drawer wall element, releasably and firmly attachable.

Preferably, a narrow underside of the composite part and the underside angled opposite narrow outer sides of the composite part are encompassed by the recording or framed. One of the underside opposite narrow top of the composite part preferably remains free of the recording. The composite top surface accordingly forms at least a portion of the narrow top surface of the drawer wall panel.

It is also advantageous that the composite part is formed of three layer elements, wherein two layer elements consist of a glass material. As an alternative to the two layer elements of glass, these may consist of another transparent or translucent material. The third layer element is preferably a comparatively thin flexible film. This provides an overall thin but strong design element whose design is determined by the individually designed film.

An advantageous variant of the invention consists in that the second layer element is present between two layer elements made of a glass material. This forms a stable composite part. The second layer element may, for example, be a thin film or a thin intermediate layer compared to the thickness of the two glass layer elements. The two layer elements made of glass are preferably identical in their dimensions with one another. The two glass layer elements may consist of the identical same glass material or differ, for example, in hue or in the surface condition, etc.

According to an alternative modification of the invention, it is advantageous that the second layer element is designed as a decorative element. The decorative element can, for. B. have an optical pattern, which on both sides of the composite part is visible, so determines the design of the inside and the outside of the drawer wall element. In this case, the decorative element is visible from the outside due to the transparency or translucence of the two glass layer elements therethrough.

It is also advantageous for the second layer element to comprise light-emitting means, in particular light-emitting diodes. Preferably, the second layer element is a thin-film component based on inorganic light-emitting diodes or LEDs or on the basis of an organic semiconducting material or of organic light-emitting diodes or OLEDs. This can be achieved by means of a power supply, a variety of lighting, lighting and / or color effects on the drawer wall element.

In addition, it is advantageous that the second layer element consists of a film. A film is advantageously produced for example from plastic or, for example, printable and connectable to a carrier. A single or multilayer film is also extremely space-saving. The film can be made of different materials or provided in a simple way in a different and complex nature and in a variety of designs.

The film is also suitable for a layer-by-layer connection with further layer elements of the composite part.

Another advantage is the fact that the second layer element is designed as a carrier material. In this way, different additional technical and / or non-technical properties, in particular the optical or design properties, can be predetermined with the second layer element by serving as a support for further elements or materials such as colors or patterns.

The invention also extends to a drawer with a drawer wall element according to one of the above Embodiments. Thus, the drawer can be made advantageous in terms of their design. Preferably, both side walls of the drawer are identically formed in each case of a drawer wall element with a composite part designed as set out above. Also, the front element and / or the back of the drawer can be produced in the layer element structure.

Finally, the invention extends to a piece of furniture which has a drawer as mentioned above. The furniture is thus advantageous in its appearance and individually providable.
