  • a reason for this is that the sealing member 300 may be symmetrical such that it can be mounted in the sealing apparatus 110 with the connector 306 facing in two opposite directions. This is advantageous for at least two reasons. First, one and the same member may be used for both mounting alternatives, which provides efficient supply chain. Secondly, by mounting a number of sealing members with every second of them facing in the same direction more room is provided for service technicians.

  • An advantage of sliding the insert in place instead of having it screw mounted is that the latter is requiring holes in the main body 302. Further, drilling holes in the main body 302 is negatively affecting the durability of the sealing member.

Claims (7)

  1. Dichtungselement (300), umfassend
    einen Dichtungsabschnitt, der dazu ausgelegt ist, mit einem Dichtungsband einer Röhre (104) eines Verpackungsmaterials in einer Dichtungsphase zusammenzuwirken, und
    einen Verpackungsvolumensteuerungsabschnitt, der dazu ausgelegt ist, in der Dichtungsphase mit einem bei dem Dichtungsband der Röhre eines Verpackungsmaterials gelegenen ersten Bereich zusammenzuwirken, wobei der Verpackungsvolumensteuerungsabschnitt mit einer Fassung (312) zum Halten eines Einsatzes (308) versehen ist, wobei die Fassung mit Fassungsvorsprüngen (314a, 314b) versehen ist, um den Einsatz (308) an Ort und Stelle zu halten, wobei sich die Fassungsvorsprünge in einer zu einer Flächennormalen des Verpackungsvolumensteuerungsabschnitts rechtwinklig verlaufenden Gleitrichtung erstrecken, und dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Fassung (312) so angeordnet ist, dass sie den Einsatz (308) über einen gegenüber dem Dichtungsabschnitt platzierten Abschnitt aufnimmt.
  2. Dichtungselement (300) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, ferner umfassend
    einen Röhrensteuerungsabschnitt, der dazu ausgelegt ist, mit einem bei dem Dichtungsband gelegenen zweiten Bereich zusammenzuwirken, wobei sich der erste Bereich und der zweite Bereich in der Dichtungsphase auf jeder Seite des Dichtungsbands befinden,
    wobei der Röhrensteuerungsabschnitt mit einer zusätzlichen Fassung zum Halten eines zusätzlichen Einsatzes (310) versehen ist.
  3. Dichtungselement nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei das Dichtungselement (300) ferner eine Drossel (206a, 206b) umfasst.
  4. Einsatz (308), umfassend
    einen konvexen Teil, der dazu ausgelegt ist, mit dem ersten Bereich einer Röhre (104) eines Verpackungsmaterials in einer Dichtungsphase zusammenzuwirken,
    einen ersten Abschnitt, der dazu ausgelegt ist, in einer Fassung (312) platziert zu sein, und
    einen zweiten Abschnitt, der oben auf dem ersten Abschnitt platziert ist und versetzt zu dem ersten Abschnitt platziert ist,
    wobei der Einsatz (308) dazu ausgelegt ist, in der Fassung (312) eines Dichtungselements (300) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3 gehalten zu sein.
  5. Einsatz (308) nach Anspruch 7, wobei der Einsatz (308) mit Einsatzvorsprüngen (404a, 404b) versehen ist, die dazu ausgelegt sind, mit Fassungsvorsprüngen (314a, 314b) der Fassung (312) zusammenzuwirken.
  6. Einsatz (308) nach einem der Ansprüche 7 oder 8, wobei der Einsatz dazu ausgelegt ist, in der Fassung (312) des Verpackungsvolumensteuerungsabschnitts gehalten zu sein.
  7. Dichtungsvorrichtung (200), umfassend ein erstes Dichtungselement (300) und ein zweites Dichtungselement, wobei das erste Dichtungselement mit einer Drossel (206a) und einer Wirkfläche des Dichtungsabschnitts versehen ist und das zweite Dichtungselement mit wenigstens einem Druckstück (202) versehen ist, um einen Gegendruck in einer Dichtungsphase bereitzustellen, und wobei das erste Dichtungselement und das zweite Dichtungselement beide einen Verpackungsvolumensteuerungsabschnitt umfassen, der mit einer Fassung versehen ist, die einen Einsatz nach einem der Ansprüche 4 bis 6 hält.
